Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate adherence to secondary prevention measures and to identify barriers to cardiac rehabilitation enrolment among patients with coronary heart disease after percutaneous coronary intervention.

Methods: An observational cross-sectional survey was conducted through computer-assisted telephone interviews to assess recently treated percutaneous coronary intervention patients at the Prince Sultan Cardiac Center in Saudi Arabia.

Results: Out of 104 surveyed patients with coronary heart disease, 85 (82%) were male, with an average age of 59.5 years. The obesity rate was 28% (n = 29), with a high prevalence of comorbidities: 82 (79%), 63 (61%), and 62 (60%) …

Inspired by their memories, I began chronicling its history and architecture, only to discover its current silence and neglect. "A Lonely Walk Down 24th Street" became a monument to beauty interwoven with loneliness. Known as the "Street of Dreams," 24th Street was a thriving metropolis. Will Brown's lynching in 1919 signaled its demise, resulting in decades of municipal indifference. My research focused on documenting the Street's desolation and degradation. Prolonged sitting is associated with higher health issues across all age groups, particularly affecting students’ classroom behaviors and academic achievement. In this paper, we review the psychological research on the relationship between posture and cognition, focusing on how students learn while sitting versus standing. Our findings show that there is no clear evidence favoring one posture over another in terms of cognitive outcomes. Meanwhile, studies highlight the health and physiological benefits of standing desks. Dynamic postural configurations can encourage movement and support collaboration among students and between students and teachers. Papillary fibroelastoma of the heart is an uncommon benign tumor that usually originates on the heart's valve structures. Instances of nonvalvular papillary fibroelastomas are exceptionally scarce. In this Case Presentation we reported a 46- year old woman presented with positional vertigo and exertional dyspnea. Transthoracic echocardiography revealed a mobile oval shape mass in left ventricle at the site of antrolateral papillary muscle and According to Cardiac magnetic resonance a benign avascular intracavity left ventricle mass is noted highly suggestive for a large papillary fibroelastoma. The tumor was completely resected and the pathological diagnosis was papillary fibroelastoma.

In data-driven software testing, there is no universally accepted best practice for test data generation, which is challenging due to the high-dimensional interacting features and parameters of critical user journeys. This disclosure describes methods that leverage natural language processing (NLP) techniques to downsample a high-dimensional data space to ensure the test coverage of important usage patterns and parameter interactions, even when they constitute edge cases. A horizontally scalable, NLP-inspired dataflow recognizes multidimensional patterns from structured logs, and then samples the logs to cover those patterns. Using an Environmental Justice theoretical lens, this thesis explores the extent to which the environmental legislative landscape of Bangladesh has ensured environmental justice for Indigenous peoples. In doing so, the thesis concentrates on three main areas: recognition, rights of Indigenous people under the environmental legal framework as well as their representation in the environmental decision making bodies. The research evaluates Bangladesh environmental laws against standards elaborated in the environmental justice literature on each of these three areas. This paper revisits the issue of rural-urban links in post-apartheid South Africa, challenging the assumption that the end of apartheid would lead to rapid urbanization and the dissolution of circular migration. Despite the abolition of influx controls and the significant increase in the urban population from 33% in 1980 to 55% in 2011 among black South Africans, rural-urban ties and flows have proven resilient. Political Ideology, Emotion Response, And Confirmation Bias, David L. Dickinson

Motivated reasoning can serve to help resolve emotional discomfort, which suggests emotion as a likely moderator of such reasoning. This paper addresses a gap in the literature by examining emotion and confirmation bias in the political domain. Results from two preregistered studies, which involved over 900 unique participants, document a confirmation bias across distinct dimensions of belief and preference formation. Also, ideologically dissonant information significantly worsens self-reported emotion. With some exceptions, the evidence generally supports the hypothesis that negative emotion moderates the strength of the bias, which highlights the importance of emotion response in understanding and potentially counteracting confirmation bias.

Beliefs about the malleability of intellectual ability-mindsets-shape achievement. Recent evidence suggests that even young children hold such mindsets; yet, no reliable and valid instruments exist for measuring individual differences in young children's mindsets. Given the potential relevance of mindsets to children's achievement-related behavior and learning, we developed and tested the psychometric properties of the Growth Mindset Scale for Children (GM-C).
