In classical statistics, the population mean is estimated using determinate, crisp data value when auxiliary information is known. These estimates can often be biased. The main objective of this study is to introduce the neutrosophic estimator with the minimum mean squared error (MSE) for the unknown value of the population mean as well as overcome the limitations of classical statistics when dealing with ambiguous or indeterminate data. Neutrosophic statistics was introduced by Florentin Smarandache. It is a generalisation of classical statistics that addresses ambiguous, unclear, vague, and indeterminate data. The evaluation of university physical education teaching quality helps measure the actual effectiveness of the courses and ensures the achievement of teaching objectives. Through evaluation, schools can identify deficiencies in teaching and make improvements, enhancing students' physical fitness and health. Additionally, evaluation provides data support for teaching reforms, aiding in curriculum optimization and strengthening faculty, thereby promoting the comprehensive development of physical education and fostering students' lifelong awareness of fitness and healthy lifestyles. In this work, we introduce a Python class, named NSmorph, developed to facilitate image manip ulation through neutrosophic morphological operations. This innovative approach extends traditional image processing methods by leveraging the flexibility of neutrosophic logic to handle uncertainty, indeterminacy, and noise in digital images. The class offers implementations of essential morphological operators, such as neu trosophic dilation, erosion, opening, and closing, providing a robust tool for applications where image clarity is often compromised, like medical imaging and surveillance. We report long-term colorectal cancer findings from the Women’s Health Initiative trial where 16,608 postmenopausal women with a uterus were randomized to daily conjugated equine estrogen (CEE) 0.625 mg, plus medroxyprogesterone acetate (MPA) 2.5 mg, or placebo. When intervention ended after 5.6-years, while there were 44% fewer colorectal cancers in the intervention group (43 vs 72, P = 0.003), the cancers more commonly were lymph node positive (59.0% vs 29.4%, P = 0.003). Now after cumulative 24-year follow-up, with 431 breast cancers, CEE plus MPA no longer influenced colorectal cancer incidence (215 [0.15, annualized rate %] vs 216 [0.15], HR …

Tamaulipan thornscrub forests (thornforests) have high ecological and economic values, yet over 90% of these forests have been lost, and they remain threatened, making them a conservation hotspot. For decades, federal, state, NGO, and corporate entities have been acquiring land and actively or passively restoring these forests, but results have been mixed and seldom monitored. This study characterized and quantified faunal communities of restored thornforest habitats in south Texas and examined the relationships between restored faunal communities and key site characteristics and environmental factors. Ai-Enhanced Qualitative Research: Insights From Adele Clarke’S Situational Analysis Of Ted Talks, Natalija Mazeikiene, Judita Kasperiuniene

This study explores the integration of ChatGPT-4 into the qualitative research process, focusing on the methodology of Situational Analysis by Adele Clarke and analysing TED Talks transcripts. Findings show ChatGPT's ability to process data quickly in initial coding, formulating broader categories reflecting Clarke's complexity of “situation,” recognising human and non-human elements, discourses, debates, and issues, temporal and spatial. In analysing data for different map types (situational, social worlds and arenas, positional), ChatGPT-4 “understands” their different analytical purposes, recognising different levels of abstraction and theoretical structuring.
