The paper aims to analyze the determinants of virtual water use for barley crops in Iraq over the period (1990–2023), in light of increasing water challenges and declining inflows of the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. The research adopts a descriptive and econometric analytical approach, employing the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model to examine the relationship between imported virtual water quantity (VW) as the dependent variable and a set of independent variables, including agricultural GDP, blue water, the water self-sufficiency ratio, and the degree of agricultural trade openness. Electrostatic Rotary Bell Sprayers (ERBSs) are pivotal in automotive painting, offering high efficiency and superior surface finishes through a dual-phase atomization process. Various factors significantly influence droplet size distributions, including rotational speed, paint rheology, and flow rate. Previous studies concluded that the geometry of the rotary cup also plays a critical role, as different designs can yield varied atomization outcomes. Rayleigh’s theory underpins the understanding of ligament formation and the conditions affecting droplet disintegration. Agricultural waste is produced in large amounts worldwide. These are often discarded despite being valuable sources of cellulose and renewable, biodegradable products. At the same time, rising environmental concerns about petroleum-based plastic packaging have created demand for sustainable alternatives. High dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy using 192Ir is an effective modality for cancer treatment; however, its therapeutic efficiency is often constrained by unintended radiation exposure to healthy tissues surrounding the tumour. Fortunately, the incorporation of high atomic number (Z) nanoparticles as radiosensitizers has emerged as a promising strategy to enhance tumour dose while sparing adjacent normal tissues. The Role Of Zinc Precursor Concentration In Modulating The Structural, Optical, And Electrical Properties Of Sol-Gel Derived Czts Thin Films, Justine John Tibaijuka

This study reports on CZTS thin films fabricated by sol–gel spin coating using zinc acetate dihydrate, copper acetate dihydrate, tin chloride, and thiourea dissolved in methanol with monoethylamine as a stabilizer. The films were annealed rapidly at 540 °C by using an RTP furnace. Results show the significant influence of zinc concentration on films’ properties with band gap evolution between 1.46 and 1.7 eV, along with high absorption coefficients exceeding 10⁴ cm⁻¹ in the visible range. Structurally, the films evolved from poorly crystalline at low Zn content to well- crystallized, (112)-oriented kesterite near stoichiometry. However, excessive Zn caused slight degradation …

This study aims to examine the effect the financial performance of banks in six ASEAN countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam) during the period 2020–2023. The Environmental Score measures a company's environmental performance through three main sub-pillars: Emissions, Resource Use, and Innovation. Panel data from 31 banks were analysed using panel regression with robust standard errors, and endogeneity was tested using Two-Stage Least Squares (2SLS). The results show that the Environmental Score has a positive and significant effect on ROA, ROE, Tobin’s Q, and Market Capitalization, but no significant effect on NIM. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping organizational decision-making and Human Resource Management (HRM), yet empirical insights remain fragmented. This study examines the effect of AI adoption on decision-making efficiency and its implications for HRM through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by PRISMA 2020. The dataset exclusively comprises scholarly articles uploaded by the researcher. The identification stage yielded 87 records, reduced to 72 after duplicate removal; screening produced 34 articles for full-text assessment, and 15 studies met the inclusion criteria. Hypertension is a chronic condition that adversely affects quality of life (QoL). Identifying factors associated with QoL is essential for improving hypertension management. This study aimed to identify factors associated with QoL among hypertensive patients in Riau Province, Indonesia. A cross-sectional study was conducted from December 2024 to January 2025 at two public health centers in Riau Province: Puskesmas Rejosari in Pekanbaru City and Puskesmas Bagansiapi-api in Rokan Hilir Regency. Objectives:The aim of this study was to identify specific conditions that promote creativity and innovation among students.
Methods:Through a comprehensive methodology that includes questionnaires, creative thinking tests, and qualitative interviews, the study assessed students’ perceptions of factors influencing creativity.
Results:Key findings highlight the importance of a dynamic, interdisciplinary curriculum that encourages a holistic understanding of real-world challenges. The study emphasized the significance of student-centered learning environments, where active participation, autonomy, and exploration of personal interests foster creativity. Many subterranean ecosystems are chronically energy limited, yet the mechanisms governing microbial community assembly and metabolic function under extreme carbon scarcity remain poorly resolved. We combined 16S rRNA gene sequencing with community-level physiological profiling (CLPP) to examine how physicochemical gradients regulate microbial diversity and carbon-use strategies across a surface-subsurface transition into the Deep Darkness zone of Indiana Caverns. Progressive isolation from surface inputs resulted in sharp declines in microbial biomass, total organic carbon, and nitrogen, accompanied by increased water content and C:N ratios, indicating strong attenuation of allochthonous organic matter and intensified resource filtering. In order to investigate the inconsistent interpretations of the Constitutional Court regarding the age requirements for presidential and vice-presidential candidates, this study will analyze the dynamics of determining age requirements from the perspective of the 1945 Constitution and the principles of constitutionalism. A socio-legal approach is used in the normative research method to analyze the Constitutional Court's decisions in light of the social and political factors that shaped them. According to the results, Constitutional Court Ruling No. 90/PUU-XXI/2023 marks a turning point in the evolution of Indonesian constitutional law. This article examines the Constítutíonal Court (MK) Decisíon No. 146/PUU–XXII/2024 which rejected the request to delete the religion column on the Identity Card (KTP). The Decision affirms that every Indonesian citizen must declare their religion or belief in God as expected by Pancasila and the constitutional mandate.
