Practical Anisotropy Of Reflectance Standards, Mark Helmlinger
Practical Anisotropy Of Reflectance Standards, Mark Helmlinger
The Characterization and Radiometric Calibration for Remote Sensing Annual Meeting (CALCON)
Factory calibration documents for sintered PTFE and painted reflectance standards specify diffuse hemispherical reflectance at 8 degrees incidence, nadir collection. This measurement is an isotropic mean of azimuth angles. In practice, targets are measured at very specific azimuthal incidence and collection angles, requiring more rigorous BRDF knowledge if certainties of less than 2% are desired. In this presentation, a practical method for determining the azimuthal dependence of nadir collected reflectance at various incident illumination zenith angles is described and discussed.

Spectral Quantum Efficiency Calibration Of Mid-Infrared Single Photon Detectors, Grant Teply
Spectral Quantum Efficiency Calibration Of Mid-Infrared Single Photon Detectors, Grant Teply
The Characterization and Radiometric Calibration for Remote Sensing Annual Meeting (CALCON)
Superconducting Nanowire Single Photon Detectors (SNSPDs) can count individual photon hits with a very high efficiency, a very low dark count rate, and very fine time resolution. Since the output is naturally digital, they are an especially promising technology for space missions including NASA’s Origins Space Telescope and Large Interferometer For Exoplanets (LIFE). Over the past 5 years, significant progress has been made in the development of SNSPDs that can sense lower energy photons such as those in the mid-infrared, but the quantum efficiency of these devices remains poorly quantified. The Low Background Infrared (LBIR) facility at NIST has a …

The Characterization and Radiometric Calibration for Remote Sensing Annual Meeting (CALCON)
The space projects are always designed to push back the frontiers of what is feasible, focusing for instance on spatial, spectral and/or temporal aspects. In any case, the radiometric quality has to meet the end-user’s requirements, which may also be higher and higher. In the frame of optical Earth observation, the French space agency (CNES) is involved in a large panel of upcoming projects addressing new challenges such as the very high spectral resolution for carbon dioxide monitoring with MICROCARB, the combination of both spatial and spectral resolution for a spectro-imager, the thermal infrared domain with TRISHNA, the polarisation with …

Iraqi Journal for Computer Science and Mathematics
Traditional Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) designed for more conventional network infrastructures are often ill-equipped to handle the unique challenges WSNs pose, leading to significant gaps in security and resilience. This paper introduces an Intelligent Intrusion Detection System (IIDS) explicitly tailored for clustered WSNs to address these critical challenges. The proposed IIDS integrates dynamic clustering with advanced machine learning algorithms to create a robust and adaptive security solution capable of real-time threat detection and mitigation. The dynamic clustering mechanism is designed to continuously monitor and respond to changes in sensor node network topology and energy levels, ensuring that energy consumption is …

Breast cancer (BC) significantly impacts women's mortality rates and requires early detection to improve survival chances and enable appropriate treatment. Thus, a computer-aided system with high performance can speed up this process. A convolutional neural network (CNN) is considered sensitive to insufficient, noisy data. It cannot achieve high performance, however, restricted access to high-quality medical data, stemming from stringent confidentiality and privacy issues, is a considerable obstacle to the successful training of deep learning models. The current study aims to develop a remarkable, influential model for BC classification whilst considering modern pre-trained models ResNet50, AlexNet, InceptionV3 and VGG16 for extracting …

Topological Indices For The Resize Graph Of (G2(3)), Manar Musab Ftekhan, Ali Abd Aubad
Iraqi Journal for Computer Science and Mathematics
Indexes of topological play a crucial role in mathematical chemistry and network theory, providing valuable insights into the structural properties of graphs. In this study, we investigate the Resize graph of G2(3), a significant algebraic structure arising from the exceptional Lie group (G2) over the finite field F3. We compute several well-known topological indices, including the Zagreb indices, Wiener index, and Randić index, to analyze the graph's connectivity and complexity. Our results reveal intricate relationships between the algebraic structure of G2(3) and its graphical properties, offering a deeper understanding of its combinatorial …

Lookup-Table Multiplier Using Rom/Tie-Off Cells, Na
Defensive Publications Series
This disclosure describes low-cost, energy-efficient lookup-table (LUT) multipliers using memory arrays with read-only memory or tie-off cells (cells hard-wired to a 0 or 1). In contrast to a typical SRAM cell, which can use up to six transistors, a latch, etc., a tie-off cell uses only a couple of transistors. The memory array can be shared among a number of multipliers. Sharing the memory array across multipliers amortizes the cost of the memory array over those multipliers. The tie-off cell LUT can be optimized using ‘constant propagation’ during synthesis. The read decoders can be further optimized for a given implementation …
