Enriched or “designer” chicken eggs have emerged as an important category of functional foods aimed at improving human nutrition through dietary manipulation of laying hens. This mini-review summarizes recent advances in egg enrichment strategies, focusing on omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidant compounds. Omega-3 enrichment remains the most widely adopted approach, achieved through supplementation with flaxseed, fish oil, or microalgae, resulting in significant increases in eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) in egg yolk. Multi-nutrient enrichment, including selenium, vitamin E, and carotenoids, has also gained attention due to its potential in enhancing antioxidant capacity and health of hens …

Rigid Inclusion System (RIS) is one of the economic systems for improving highly compressible soil by increasing the bearing capacity of foundation soil and reducing settlements. This system consists of a load transform platform (LTP) with or without geosynthetic reinforcement (GR) membrane resting on an arrangement of piles. The LTP redistributes the fill embankment load so that a higher percentage of load is transferred to pile by arching that leads to a reduction in the settlement of the foundation soil. The thermal conductivity of nanofluids is affected by various factors. Consequently, a comprehensive investigation into nanofluid materials and their thermal conductivity is essential. This study examines Al2O3 samples with three different volume concentrations, 0.5, 0.75 and 1 vol.%, dispersed in a liquid water/ethylene glycol mixture with a volume ratio of EG–W (50:50). Multi-technique characterization was performed using XRD, SEM-EDS, TEM, UV-Visible, and Zeta Potential. Furthermore, thermal conductivity tests were performed on Al2O3 using TEMPOS TEM-1443. This study aimed to determine the effect of adding parts of gowok fruit (Syzygium polycephalum) on the physical properties of goat’s milk yogurt. A completely randomized design was applied with treatments consisting of fruit parts (rind, flesh of fruit, and whole seedless fruit) and addition levels (1, 2, and 3%) with three replications. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance followed by Duncan’s multiple range test (DMRT). The results showed that gowok addition had a significant effect (P<0.05) on viscosity, syneresis, and color parameters, but no significant effect (P>0.05) on firmness and work of penetration. This study maps the scientific landscape and research trends on whole milk in food science using a bibliometric approach. Data were collected from Google Scholar via Publish or Perish 8 (2020–2025) using the keyword "whole milk," yielding 291 documents after applying inclusion criteria. Descriptive and visual analyses were performed using VOSviewer and the Bibliometrix package to identify publication trends, collaboration networks, and dominant themes through co-authorship and keyword co-occurrence analyses. Results revealed fluctuating publication patterns, peaking in 2021 (60 articles) and declining in 2025 (41 articles). Lignocellulosic residues such as lemongrass (Cymbopogon nardus L.) waste have strong potential to be reused as livestock feed, helping improve sustainability and reduce environmental waste. This study aims to develop a functional ice cream based on dangke whey pro‐ tein with the addition of butterfly pea flower extract. Four formulations were pre‐ pared by varying milk and whey proportions: P1 (100% milk), P2 (60% milk + 40% whey), P3 (40% milk + 60% whey), and P4 (100% whey), with 5% butterfly pea ex‐ tract added to each treatment. The results showed that higher whey substitution decreased pH and overrun values but prolonged the melting resistance of ice cream. Global demand for halal-certified products is rapidly increasing, underscoring the importance of understanding consumer preferences and the impact of halal labelling on purchasing decisions. This study examines the relationship between halal labelling, consumer trust, and purchasing behaviour of beef in modern markets in East Kalimantan, Indonesia. A quantitative survey was conducted with 400 respondents from diverse demographic backgrounds. The results show that 75% of consumers prefer halal-certified beef, with 80% perceiving halal labels as indicators of superior product quality and safety. Background: Amphetamine use during pregnancy is a crucial public health issue. Amphetamine use during gestation has been linked to various outcomes, such as the potential for prolonged hospital stays and rising healthcare expenditures. However, the economic burden remains unclear.

Method: The retrospective cohort study was conducted at Nong Khai Hospital from January 2024 to December 2025. There were 80 pregnant women who had used amphetamine-exposed group and 160 non-exposed group. Generalized linear models (GLM) were used to analyze the difference in hospital lengths of stay and healthcare costs.

Second-Layer Money Or Fiduciary Media? A Full-Reserve Critique Of Bitcoin Price Stabilization: A Comment On Blasco And García De Enterría, Philipp Bagus, Joel Serrano

This article critically examines Blasco and García de Enterría’s proposal that certain Bitcoin-denominated second-layer instruments—real bills, private scrip, and cash notes—could reduce Bitcoin’s short-term volatility and function as media of exchange. From a full-reserve Austrian perspective, it argues that the relevant distinction is not between base money and higher layers as such, but, within those layers, between fully backed monetary certificates and fiduciary media. Although second-layer instruments may smooth short-term volatility, those that operate as fiduciary media introduce counterparty risk, redemption risk, and credit expansion unsupported by real saving, potentially generating long-term instability.

Implementing a water-use experiential exercise in business courses reinforces student learning outcomes associated with managing both traditional business wastes and those wastes associated with social or environmental impact and responsibility. PURPOSE: Tumor treating fields (TTFields) are FDA-approved for supratentorial glioblastoma, but feasibility in infratentorial tumors remains poorly defined. This simulation study evaluated TTFields dose in brainstem gliomas using patient-specific modeling with scalp-only transducer arrays.

METHODS: MRI and CT imaging from seven patients with brainstem gliomas were used for TTFields planning with MAXPOINT® (Novocure, Switzerland). Clinical target volume (CTV) was defined as enhancing tumor on T1 post-contrast MRI (Gross tumor volume, GTV) plus a 3 mm peritumoral expansion.
