Journal of Banking and Financial Economics

The green mortgage market in Poland has received limited research attention. Therefore, this article aims to present the specifics of the green mortgage market in Poland. To thoroughly investigate the issue, in-depth interviews were conducted with 12 banking sector representatives, each with varying experience and professional roles. The study’s findings revealed that there is no formal definition of green mortgages, which hinders both banks and their customers. Currently, green mortgages are rarely granted due to their limited economic benefit to borrowers and the small number of residential properties that qualify. Background: Office-based laboratories (OBLs) have expanded rapidly since the introduction of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) reimbursement for outpatient vascular interventions in 2008, driven by advances in endovascular technology and cost effectiveness. Alongside ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), OBLs enable minimally invasive vascular procedures to be performed safely outside hospital settings with same-day discharge. Over the past decade, peripheral vascular interventions (PVIs) have increasingly shifted to outpatient environments, with OBLs demonstrating the most rapid growth. Sensory processing shapes how people respond to environmental stimuli, influencing their ability to regulate themselves, make choices and participate in activities. Evidence indicates that people with mental health problems often experience sensory-processing difficulties that reduce rehabilitation participation. Secure forensic mental health settings are designed to manage behaviours that challenge; however, research indicates the physical environment not only limits opportunities for meaningful participation in rehabilitation activities but may also influence sensory experiences. Eastern wild turkeys (Meleagris gallopavo silvestris) have a complex social system influenced by dominance hierarchies and exhibit seasonal variation in gregarious behaviors. Previous work has examined the influence of kin relationships on interactions between same sex conspecifics and flock associations, but information on how genetic relatedness influences interactions between individuals remains lacking. We constructed a dyad-based social network using high-resolution GPS data from 179 female and 68 male wild turkeys in west-central Louisiana during the 28-day period before a females’ 1st nest initiation to quantify interaction probability based on genetic relatedness and age. Quantum error mitigation (QEM) is essential for reliable near-term quantum computing, yet practical deployment requires balancing mitigation strength against runtime overhead under nonstationary noise. This work introduces GSC-QEMit, a telemetry-driven context–forecast–bandit framework that adaptively selects mitigation intensity using unsupervised context discovery, uncertainty-aware Gaussian process forecasting, and a cost-aware contextual bandit. Evaluated on benchmark quantum circuits under drifting noise in simulation, the approach improves logical fidelity while reducing unnecessary intervention cost. Complementing this systems-level contribution, we apply unsupervised machine learning to broadband cryogenic transient dielectric spectroscopy data to analyze two-level system (TLS) noise mechanisms. We present Category-Adaptive Recall Depth (CARD), a retrieval mechanism for heat-tiered memory systems that conditions top-K depth and ranking strategy on a query category signal. Prior memory retrieval systems apply a fixed top-K regardless of query semantics; CARD instead assigns each query to one of four categories—information extraction (IE), knowledge update (KU), multi-session reasoning (MSR), temporal reasoning (TR)—and selects a per-category (K, ranking_strategy) pair optimized for that category's retrieval demands. KU queries additionally filter to the highest-version record per entity, enabling 100.0% accuracy on knowledge update tasks. Set in the Victorian era, the film portrays a patriarchal society that limits women's rights, educational opportunities, and freedom to determine their own lives. This study employed a descriptive qualitative design with a grounded theory approach. The five Central Asian countries emerged from Soviet collapse with arbitrarily drawn borders, weak national identities, and deeply complex ethnic and religious landscapes. Predominantly Muslim but heir to seventy years of Soviet secularization, each state contains substantial minority populations. Confronted with these internal fractures, the governments of these countries have since their independence in the 1990s turned to sport as a primary instrument for forging social cohesion, managing interethnic tensions, and legitimizing their authority.
