Goal Statement: The goal of this social change portfolio is to decrease the stigma of seeking mental help through addressing culture, norms, or systems within Fort Riley, Kansas, that contribute to stigma and suicide risk while using preventative measures to reduce suicide ideation and risk.

Significant Findings: This project focuses on reducing counseling stigma to prevent suicide among military personnel and veterans at Fort Riley, Kansas. Introduction: Diabetes mellitus is the 7th leading cause of death in the U.S. and 6th in Texas. South Texas counties have higher diabetes rates than state and national averages. This complex, progressive disease affects multiple body systems and can lead to serious complications, especially in the lower extremities. Uncontrolled diabetes is often associated with diabetic foot ulcers (DFU), foot infections, and lower extremity amputations (LEA). South Texas, predominantly Hispanic American, is disproportionately affected. 江户前期，東渡日本的浙江籍文人陳元贇與日蓮宗僧元政詩歌贈答往來，唱和盈帙並合編爲《元元唱和集》。該集是東亞漢文學史上的第一部中日人士唱和專集，既見證了士僧之間神交心契、塤篪相應的深厚友誼，又呈示了明清嬗替時期與江户漢文學交流互動的多元樣態和詩藝圖景。書翰往來與詩歌唱和交際功能的耦合，不僅在文學場域產生了雙重疊加效應，同時也俾使“元元唱和”活動得以跨時空延續。“元元”唱和詩歌在抒寫日常生活、自然四時、行旅思歸與讚頌親友之情等層面，多向度地映現了中日漢詩的同源異流特徵。作爲近世中日文化交流史上的詩誼典範，通過對“元元唱和”及唱和集内容的尋繹，可覘其中含藴著豐富的文學文化價值。

In the early Edo period, Chen Yuanyun (陳元贇, 1587-1671), a scholar from Zhejiang who traveled to Japan, exchanged poems with Gensei (元政, 1623-1668), a monk of the Nichiren sect (日蓮宗), and their poems were compiled into Yuan Yuan changhe ji (《元元唱和集》). This collection is the first special collection of Chinese and Japanese poetry and poetry in the history of East Asian Chinese literature. This paper proposes a distance measure for generalised L-R intuitionistic fuzzy number (GLRIFN) which is Hamming distance, aiming to enhance the theoretical and practical tools available for decision-making under uncertainty. The properties of the Hamming distance of generalised L-R intuitionistic fuzzy number are also discussed in this study. GLRIFN extends traditional L-R intuitionistic fuzzy number by incorporating confidence level for both membership and non-membership functions, making them more reliable in the evaluation process. This paper sets out to propose a unified theoretical framework for knowledge tracing (KT) that combines graph convolutional networks (GCNs) with neural sequence architectures in intelligent tutoring systems. While existing methods have achieved some success, they face limitations in modelling relational dependencies among concepts and the temporal progression of learner behaviour. Building on socio-constructivist views of knowledge as a network of relations and connectionist accounts of learning as adaptation over time, the framework integrates graph-based relational reasoning with sequence-based temporal modelling. As part of the Participatory Action Research (PAR) Study on Young Feminist Organizing in Mexico and Kenya, this case study was conducted in the Yucatán, Mexico to understand the particularities of the feminist movement and organization led by young women in this state. The case study included in-depth interviews and focus groups with representatives of feminist organizations and collectives, civil society organizations, and public institutions. Changing Lives, Transforming Communities: How Young Feminist Organizations Create Change In Mexico And Kenya, Population Council Kenya

The Young Feminist Organizing (YFO) study was initiated in response to a call for proposals by two anonymous funders to conduct a Participatory Action Research evaluation (PARe) of young feminist movements across Kenya and Mexico. The project was implemented by the Population Council in Kenya and Mexico, with technical support from the GIRL Center, and through a Feminist Advisory Panel (FAP) and a Core Participatory Evaluation Community (Core PARe). The study's duration was 31 months, starting from September 2022 to March 2025. This end-of-project report summarizes the key findings, lessons learned, challenges encountered, mitigation strategies employed, and emerging opportunities.

The Nawiri Project used a core Participatory Action Research Evaluation (PARe) approach to explore the landscape of young feminist organizing/organizations (YFOs) in Kenya and Mexico. The project aimed to synthesize evidence on YFOs’ context, impact, and strengths. In Kenya, the core PARe team included nine young feminists and seven Feminist Advisory Panel (FAP) members, who collaborated with Population Council, Kenya from the project’s inception to dissemination. Atrial fibrillation, characterized by chaotic rhythms and electrical complexity, presents a diagnostic challenge that requires innovative approaches to uncover its underlying biomarkers. This study proposes a hybrid predictive model based on multinomial logistic regression and neutrosophic logic, aiming to identify clinically significant patterns associated with this condition. Using the Knowledge Discovery in Databases (KDD) methodology, large volumes of cardiovascular data are analyzed to distinguish meaningful signals from background noise, revealing hidden connections and validating medical hypotheses. This article outlines some key elements of Dundee’s industrial literary tradition, primarily associated with the city’s jute industry, as expressed in the songs and poems of Mary Brooksbank (1897-1978). It also explores ways in which writers working from the 1980s onwards have used the memory of the jute industry, Brooksbank herself, and associated verse traditions to imagine place and work in post-industrial Dundee.

James Barke’s literary imagination of working lives is primarily concerned with how different modes of labour generate a tension between refusal of work and the material constraints on fully engaging in it. Putting into conversation the Marxist autonomist method of ‘compositionism’ with Barke’s own theories of art and class struggle, this article traces how Barke’s fiction represents toil on the one hand, and the yearning for a life beyond the tyranny of capital on the other, as defining the horizons of working-class life.

This article argues for a reappraisal of Archie Hind's landmark Glasgow novel The Dear Green Place (1966), which represents the conflation and combination of long histories of class formation with the grind of everyday labours, and a provocation about the possibilities, limitations, and contradictions of working-class artistry in twentieth-century Scotland.

This article focuses on Agnes Owens whose work is examined in the light of Michel Foucault’s essay “Lives of Insignificant Men”, and Pierre Rosanvallon’s Parliament of the Invisible. It tackles the idea that Owens portrays what Foucault calls “insignificant lives”, with a particular emphasis on working or working-class women and on what Owens sees as poverty “in [the] minds”, to show that her fiction is political in a way that is not openly militant.
