Background: Free radicals are natural byproducts of cellular metabolism, in which, their excessive accumulation can lead to oxidative stress, which plays a key role in the development of various chronic diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and neurodegenerative conditions. Antioxidants are compounds capable of scavenging free radicals and minimizing oxidative damage. Peperomia pellucida, commonly known as Suruhan leaves, is a tropical herb traditionally used in folk medicine that contain bioactive compounds correlated with a strong radical-scavenging activity, suggesting its potential as a natural antioxidant source. Young people like to be entertained, and to entertain others. What if students were to invest enough of their time and effort into learning topics from our mathematics courses to become experts in the eyes of their peers? In this study we positioned college students and high school students as mathematical performers on the stage in front of their nearpeers, for whom they became math influencers, developing and presenting MathShows. Multiple myeloma (MM) is an incurable malignancy of plasma cells, with over 35,000 new cases diagnosed annually in the United States. Despite an expanding arsenal of approved therapies, nearly all patients relapse, and mechanisms underlying disease progression remain poorly understood. In particular, the role of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in MM progression and treatment response is largely unexplored. To address this gap, we performed transcriptome sequencing of newly diagnosed MM (NDMM) patient samples and compared individuals with short progression-free survival (PFS; < 24 months) to those with prolonged PFS (>24 months) following standard first-line therapy. The Taxonomy And Origins Of Folia: A Brief Review, Donald G. Davis, Louise D. Hose, Harvey R. Duchene

International Journal of Speleology

All folia demonstrate a few common elements: folia (singular, folium) are planar or sub-planar speleothems, slanting downward and away from cave walls and ceilings, and genetically associated with fluctuating environmental interfaces. They were first identified and named from examples in western USA hypogenic caves but have since been identified elsewhere in the world. Folia shelves are typically composed of calcite and interweave smoothly along sub-horizontal contours. Calcite accretion, both chemical and mechanical from suspended particles, follows water-surface fluctuations to form protrusions in arrays along walls and ceilings where new accretion tends to follow the water-surface downward during descending phases, gradually …

A total of 525 Saudi university faculty members and general education teachers were surveyed using two electronic questionnaires. Arithmetic averages and standard deviations, One-way ANOVA, Scheffé's test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and Cronbach's alpha stability coefficient were used as statistical methods. The study statistically identifies the differences between the study sample at the level of significance (0.05). The study aimed to identify the degree of application of the heads of scientific departments to administrative transparency and its relationship to the motivation of achievement among faculty members at the University of Bisha.
