Traffic congestion is a major transportation issue in Surabaya, prompting the city government to introduce solutions such as the "Wira-Wiri Suroboyo" feeder service. While the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) has been widely used to explain public transportation use, it has not yet been applied to this context. To fill this lacuna, this study used TPB to explore the public perceptions of the Surabaya to use or not using the "Wira-Wiri Suroboyo" feeder. Context:

In most countries, early pregnancies are one of the most public health issues, particularly in a developing country like Cambodia. This problem is leading those young mothers to face mental health breakdowns and limited socioeconomic opportunities. Beyond that, they also face the disruption of education and overall health risks in the long term. This research paper answers and delves into doubts related to the question: How does early pregnancy affect the mental health and future socioeconomic opportunities, including education, career prospects, and social mobility, of teenage mothers in Cambodia?

This article examines local experiences of the national attack on district equity work intended to better support Students of Color and LGBTQ+ students over the 2020–2022 school years. Drawing on theory on zones of mediation and interviews with over 70 district “equity directors” (EDs) nationally, I analyze how together national, state, and local pressure led to district equity “shutdown.” Forms of district equity shutdown included censoring equity-focused communication and language, eliminating district equity-focused programming or personnel, and restricting books and learning resources, with 40% of EDs reporting at least one form of district equity shutdown.

In order to conduct effective research in open education, one needs skills in diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. To address this need, a DEIA expert provided consultation to the members and mentor of a fellowship for open education researchers. After completing the fellowship, the researchers were asked to complete a survey about DEIA research skill development during the fellowship and their perceived challenges in DEIA research. Fellows (N = 42) across cohorts indicated growth in DEIA research skills during the fellowship. Notably, fellows who received DEIA consultation described more sophisticated development of DEIA research skills than fellows without the consultation. …

Structural cracks are widely distributed in current expressways, yet there is a lack of targeted evaluation methods. To achieve a quantitative assessment of structural cracking conditions in semi-rigid base asphalt pavement, this study first analyzed the development process of structural cracks based on coring tests. Subsequently, combined with non-destructive testing technology using 3D ground-penetrating radar and on-site coring experience, the morphological characteristics of structural cracks at various development stages were analyzed, and the cracks were classified into mild, moderate, and severe levels according to their development layers. In view of the current problem that the utilization rate of recycled asphalt pavement (RAP) is generally low, research on high-modulus asphalt mixtures with high RAP content was carried out. To evaluate the influence of different recycled asphalt pavement (RAP) content on the mix design and performance of micro-surfacing mixtures, mixing tests and torque shear tests were conducted to assess their workability. The mechanical and road performance were evaluated using load wheel tests, rutting tests, water immersion Marshall tests, freeze-thaw splitting tensile tests, SCB tests, fatigue durability tests, and cohesion tests. The study shows that, at the optimal asphalt-to-aggregate ratio, increasing RAP content leads to a decrease in the optimal emulsified asphalt content of the recycled micro-surfacing mixture and a reduction in workability. To address the difficulty of balancing high-and low-temperature performance in hot recycled asphalt mixture design and the performance imbalance revealed during long-term service, wheel tracking test, repeated creep loading test, multiple-sequence repeated load test (MSRL), bending beam test, and semi-circular bending test were conducted under different recycled material content and asphalt content conditions. A performance-controlled mix design method was established for plant-mixed hot recycled asphalt mixture (PHM) and verified through engineering trials. To address the poor performance of plant-produced hot recycled asphalt mixtures with high recycled asphalt pavement (RAP) content, this study employed a refined separation technology to treat RAP materials. The effectiveness of this technology in enhancing the durability of high-RAP-content recycled asphalt mixtures was verified through trial pavement construction and performance testing. In addition, the carbon reduction potential as well as the economic and social benefits of the refined separation technology were analyzed. The Stony Island Arts Bank (SIAB) in Southside Chicago was designed and founded as a piece of art itself, with the organizational structure being a museum of Black cultural production. This article examines how the institution constructs an epistemology of Blackness through its archival practices, community programming, and spatial claims on the South Side. Founded by artist Theaster Gates through the Rebuild Foundation, the SIAB positions institutional design as an art medium, operating in productive tension with orthodox museum methods. To address this issue and maximally optimize the pavement maintenance decision, a pavement performance prediction model integrating particle swarm optimization (PSO), gray model (GM), and back propagation neural network (BPNN) was proposed based on network management. Since 2022, The TMC Library started using Digital Commons Exhibits, adding 15k items to its 18yr institutional repository to include more library archival materials. Traffic of archival collections jumped from 4k, 36k to 107k downloads in 2024, bringing greater impact to not only archives, but the entire library community.

Other beneficial impacts have been identified since additional archival materials have been integrated within our institutional repository. Other than more people who have been accessing McGovern Historical Center using their services and materials, The TMC Library has noticed changes since more download traffic has been noticed on our institutional repository. Preserving our institution’s vast web presence is technologically demanding, requires ongoing specialized expertise, and is underfunded. It is also absolutely necessary: If university archives do not determine how to sustainably acquire, preserve, and provide access to online documents, we will suffer (and already have experienced) significant gaps in our understanding of the university’s actions, events, and decisions. Wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) has emerged as a useful option for large-scale metal additive manufacturing. It has gained widespread use in the aerospace industry and other applications that require large and complex custom parts. The process is a combination of a precise control system and a welding process, typically GTAW or MIG welding. It is a member of the directed energy deposition (DED) family of AM processes. Turkish Journal of Agriculture and Forestry

Understanding the inheritance pattern, heterotic groups, and inbreeding depression is a prerequisite for hybrid rice seed production. Therefore, this study employed a full diallel mating system involving two tall varieties and three medium-statured mutants. The results revealed the significant differences in plant height, panicle length, tillers per plant, fertility percentage and grain yield. Heterosis was more pronounced for grain yield (24.2%), followed by tillers per plant (19.8%), and panicle length (19.2%). Conversely, inbreeding depression was lowest for tillers per plant (–11.5%) and grain yield (–6.8%). The additive–dominance model provided a good fit for tillers per plant and plant height, indicating …
