William Shakespeare’S Sonnets In Translation Of Russian And Uzbek Poets, S. Marshak And Khursid Davron, Nargiza Kuchkarovna Burieva
Mental Enlightenment Scientific-Methodological Journal
This article illustrates the analysis of the translations of William Shakespeare’s sonnets into Russian and Uzbek languages. The aim of this work is to determine the peculiarities of the poetics of Shakespeare’s sonnets in translation into Russian and Uzbek. Achieving this goal led to the solution of the following tasks: consider different translations of the same sonnet into Russian and Uzbek, compare translations of sonnets by Russian poet Samuil Marshak and Uzbek poet Hurshid Davron, to identify differences and “intersection points” in the transfer of the image when translating sonnets into Russian and Uzbek. The focus of the research is …

Irrigation and Melioration
This article discusses and reveals the problems of the need for proper use of electricity and electrical installations to improve efficiency. Information on the structure of installed capacity at power plants, the structure of fuel consumption and the consumption of electricity by consumers are reviewed and given; as well as information about the increase in efficiency and causes of failure in operation. Agro-industrial complex consumes about 30 percent of all electricity produced in the country (including the rural population), including pumping stations. This figure is expected to reach 45-50% over the next few years. Thus, the choice, design, installation, maintenance …

Theoretical Studies Of Swirling Flow Rates For A Confuser Section Of High-Pressure Vortex Mine Spillways, A. A. Yangiev, D. S. Adzhimuratov, P Kovar
Irrigation and Melioration
The advantages of using a confuser section in the outlet part of the vortex spill wayare shown in the paper; they may be more rational in terms of ensuring cavitation-free operation of the flow swirler. An analytical method for calculating the aerated swirling flow in the confuser section of the vortex spillway is presented, as well as its correspondence to experimental results, which allow us to quickly and accurately conduct the distribution analysis of axial and tangential rates in the swirling flow along the length of the confuser at different taper angles.

Results of analysis of many years of research in soil-protection and water-saving technologies the cultivation of crops on eroded soils are presented in the paper. For the conditions of irrigated and erosion impacted typical loamy soils of the Chirchik-Angren valley, the law of a pliability of the typical loamy soils to erosion is revealed depending on the form of a furrow and the size of a jet. The optimal forms of furrows, the sizes of jets are determined for condition of typical loamy soils at growing potatoes. The influence of the form of furrow on the contents of organic matter, …

Irrigation and Melioration
Results of many years of theoretical, operational and reclamation studies conducted in various climatic-economic conditions of the Republic of Uzbekistan are presented in the paper. Based on the research and experience data of developed countries, recommendations have been developed for modernizing the management of irrigation systems based on the cybernetic scheme model in order to increase the reliability coefficients of all parts of the system, as well as to increase the reliability coefficient and coefficient of performance (COP) of the Lower Syrdarya irrigation system.

The Use Of Geomembranes To Increase Efficiency, Reliability And Safety Of Hydrotechnical Structures, M Bacchelli, G Lilliu
Irrigation and Melioration
Geomembranes are thin, flexible sheets with very low permeability. They are manufactured in a controlled factory environment starting from a mix of polymeric resins and additives, which is extruded to form the sheets. Performance properties of the final product depends on the characteristics of the single components, on the specific material design, and on the manufacturing method. Critical properties of a geomembrane for lining hydraulic structures are: imperviousness, which must be maintained over the whole service life of the structure; strength and elongation capability, which must enable the geomembrane to withstand deformations of the underlying support; resistance against ageing, so …

Irrigation and Melioration
Mathematical statement, methods and algorithms for assessing the stress-strain state (SSS) of earth structures are given in this paper taking into account geometric nonlinear soil strain under static influences. In the course of research, it was found that an account for geometrically nonlinear strain in soil leads to a noticeable change in the stress-strain state in high-rise structures and to an increase in all stress components. High concentration of stresses, which are the cause of strength damage in the zones of earth dams, is observed in the in the upper part of the coretransition zone contact point and in the …

Estimation Of Earth Dams Dynamics Of Under Multicomponent Kinematic Effect, M. M. Mirsaidov, T. Z. Sultanov, B. Sh Yuldoshev, Isaya Kisekka
Irrigation and Melioration
The results of studies of earth dam dynamics using plane and spatial structure models considering for viscoelastic properties of soil under multicomponent kinematic effect are presented in the paper. Dynamic behavior of a dam under multicomponent kinematic effect using plane and spatial models is analyzed. A fairly good agreement of results of dynamic behavior of structures obtained by plane and spatial models for the Gissarak dam is explained by its extended geometry, which meets the requirements of a plane-deformed state. Geometrical dimensions of the Sokh dam do not meet the specified requirements, therefore, there is a difference in the results …
Water And Power Productivity Of Grape Production In Fergana Valley, B. V. Abdurakhmanov, A. Kh Karimov, I. A. Amirova
Water And Power Productivity Of Grape Production In Fergana Valley, B. V. Abdurakhmanov, A. Kh Karimov, I. A. Amirova
Irrigation and Melioration
The study was carried out in 2013-2014 at two pilot farms of Fergana Valley cultivating grapevines using canal irrigation and groundwater. The farm data on irrigation applications and power inputs were compared with the experience of farmers in Turkey and Iran. The study indicated that at the farm where the groundwater was used in irrigation the yield of grapes was 2.7 times and water productivity 3 times higher as compared to using canal irrigation. This was found to be the consequence of inadequate applications of organic fertilizers and farming machinery, and poor irrigation scheduling under canal irrigation. The use of …

Energy Loss Balance In A Centrifugal Pump When The Rotation Speed Of The Impeller Changes, E. K. Kan, G. V. Orekhov
Irrigation and Melioration
One of the effective methods of rational and economical operation of pumping stations is the regulation by varying rotation speed of the impeller shaft of the pump. When the rotational speed is changed the pump parameters change and, naturally, the balance of energy loss also changes. The paper presents the results of analysis of the energy loss balance in the pump when rotation speed of the pump shaft is changed.

Irrigation and Melioration
Cavitation occurrence in hydroabrasive flows which can lead to rather complex phenomena and complicate the understanding of the process essence is considered in the paper. To date, the wear of operating units in centrifugal and axial pumps, depending on the mode of their operation, has not been sufficiently studied and the methods to choose the operating modes considering the wear of their parts have not been developed. The paper presents the results of comprehensive laboratory and field studies on the wear rate of units in the flow part of centrifugal and axial pumps. An alternating pulsating load leads to an …
