This Essay addresses the pending case before the U.S. Supreme Court, Johnson v. U.S. Congress, and argues that the Court should resolve the tension between regular federal jurisdiction and specialized administrative court jurisdiction for veterans’ benefits claims. Veterans’ benefits exceptionalism, it asserts, should not overcome the usual federal court process. Ordinary benefits-entitlement claims, and some statutory-validity claims, may properly remain in the specialized pipeline established by the Veterans’ Judicial Review Act. Public law has long maintained a norm against nakedly partisan justifications: while officials may sometimes pursue partisan ends in office, they must justify their actions in court with reasons that do not roughly equal “this benefits my political party” or “this hurts the opposition.” This norm has operated across doctrinal fields, including public employment, administrative law, and election law. In the 2025-26 term, in Louisiana v. Introduction: Autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) is a rare but potentially fatal disorder mediated by autoantibodies against red blood cell antigens. Drug-induced immune hemolytic anemia is a recognized, though uncommon, etiology that is historically associated with antimicrobials and chemotherapeutics. Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists have not previously been implicated in immune hemolysis.
Clinical Findings: A 53-year-old woman with obesity presented with syncope, dyspnea, abdominal pain, and jaundice 17 days after initiating semaglutide. Her hematocrit was 11%; hemoglobin, lactate dehydrogenase, bilirubin, and transaminases were unmeasurable due to severe hemolysis. This article examines the relationship between the Fifth and Seventh Schedules of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and the IBA Guidelines on Conflicts of Interest in International Arbitration. It argues that while India’s incorporation of the IBA Application Lists into its arbitration statute enhanced certainty regarding arbitrator independence and impartiality, it has also created a problem of legislative lag as the Guidelines have evolved through subsequent revisions. Objectives: This study aimed to determine the incidence of radial artery anomalies in a large cohort of patients undergoing TRA and to evaluate their specific impact as predictors of procedural failure and access site complications.

A system is proposed herein for rhythm-predictive power management in artificial intelligence (AI) fabric network elements. The system learns the periodicity of AI training workloads from port counters local to a network device, predicts idle and busy windows, and schedules per-port power transitions so a port can enter a reduced-power state during a predicted idle interval and return to full capability before the next burst arrives. The mechanism requires no job, collective, scheduler, or external-controller knowledge. A system is proposed herein for converting an unstructured software defect record into a standalone executable detection program that can determine, through read-only operation, whether a live deployment is exposed to the defect. The system performs a staged transformation that derives root-cause and exposure criteria, assesses the availability of required telemetry, enriches missing artifacts from trusted sources, generates detection logic under schema constraints, and validates and repairs the resulting program. The disclosed technology describes a multi-agent orchestration engine with a decoupled architecture that can employ a tiered timeline system to manage a global narrative and individual agent states. Previous version of HAFL study used fuzzy decision by opinion score method (FDOSM) to identify a golden subject. However, the decision-making layer can be strengthened by explicitly separating criteria weighting from compromise ranking. This study evaluated the efficacy of cold plasma (CP) and plasma-activated water (PAW) in mitigating salinity stress on sweet pepper. Seeds were exposed to CP for durations of 0, 60, and 180 seconds, then irrigated with saline solutions at 0, 4, and 8 dS/m NaCl, and sprayed with tap water, potassium nitrate, or PAW. Results showed that increased salinity significantly hindered plant growth and fruit yield. i.e. declines were observed in leaf area, shoot dry weight, and productivity, by 18.67%, 19.11%, and 17.56%, respectively, at an 8 dS/m salinity level compared to non-salinity conditions. This study investigated the role of exogenously applied hydrogen sulfide (HS; 50 μM) and gibberellic acid (GA; 200 mg L1) in alleviating salt stress (100 mM NaCl) in wheat. The applied HS and GA significantly improved plant height, biomass, chlorophyll and carotenoids, with the highest enhancement under their combined application. Salt stress markedly increased hydrogen peroxide, methylglyoxal, lipid peroxidation, lipoxygenase and NADPH oxidase, whereas HS and GA treatment reduced these effects. Processing poultry slaughterhouse wastewater as a biogas substrate is a sustainable solution. The current study aimed to optimize methane production from poultry slaughterhouse wastewater at various hydraulic retention times, biochar addition levels, and biochar addition types. Optimization of the anaerobic digestion process was determined through response surface methodology with central composite design. The input variables were hydraulic retention times (10, 20, and 30 days), biochar levels (5, 10, and 15 g/L), and biochar types (chicken litter and rice straw). Meanwhile, the response variable was methane production. The results revealed that the resulting central composite design model was significant (p < 0.05) with an R-squared of 0.94, indicating a high model suitability. The analysis of variance showed that hydraulic retention times, biochar levels, and biochar types significantly affected methane production (p < 0.05). Based on optimization, the highest methane production was achieved at a 30-day hydraulic retention times, a biochar level of 15 g/L, and a biochar type of rice straw, which was 473.00 mL/g volatile solid. These results emphasize the importance of determining the correct hydraulic retention times and biochar addition (level and type) to optimize methane production.

This research addresses skeletal deformities in two freshwater fish species, namely the common carp, Cyprinus carpio, and Leuciscus vorax (also known as the Tigris asp), sampled from two Iraqi sites: The Euphrates River, Lake Al-Tharthar, and the Tigris River near Al-Zubaydiyah City. High-resolution digital radiography was used to detect skeletal deformities in 40 specimens (20 specimens per species). Mild steel protection against acid-related degradation requires corrosion inhibition methods as its primary safeguarding approach. The study evaluated phenylpropanoid compounds of Alpinia galanga as corrosion inhibitors through density functional theory (DFT) calculations to determine their inhibitory effectiveness. This paper conducted studies to determine which parts of the corrosion inhibitors served as active sites while analyzing their inhibiting effects. DFT calculations helped identify the locations where inhibitors acted as active sites. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and osteoarthritis (OA) are common, but pathophysiologically distinct disorders that disproportionately affect postmenopausal women. Conventional biomarkers remain limited, particularly in seronegative RA and early OA. This study evaluated a multidimensional biomarker panel covering inflammatory, oxidative, hormonal, and extracellular matrix (ECM) markers to define disease-related patterns and discriminatory potential. A cross-sectional case-control study was conducted on 90 postmenopausal women classified into RA, OA, and healthy control groups (n=30 each). This study determined the levels and distribution patterns of Pb, Cd, Co, Cu, Ni, and Zn in indoor (n = 22) and outdoor (n = 22) dust from Basra, Iraq, and evaluated the associated human health risks. The total mean concentration of ∑ 6HMs was 247 mg/kg in the indoor dust and 285 mg/kg in the outdoor dust. Zn was the dominant metal in both environments, with mean concentrations of 155 and 161 mg/kg, contributing 63% and 56% of the total metal burden, respectively. Pb, Cd, Co, and Ni concentrations were significantly higher (p < 0.05) in outdoor dust, indicating the influence of outdoor emission sources. Human exposure assessment showed that the average daily doses (ADD) for children through ingestion, inhalation, and dermal contact were approximately 9.3-fold higher than those for adults across all metals. This dataset contains observations from four Colorado meteorological stations used as part of a US Army Cold Regions Research and Engineering Lab (CRREL) snow strength project.  The purpose of these data is to measure the meteorological variables that impact the trafficability and supportability of a seasonal snowpack and will be used as forcing data to model snow strength across time and space.  Measured data include snow depth, air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, soil temperature, and radiation.

This dataset contains observations from three Idaho meteorological stations used as part of a US Army Cold Regions Research and Engineering Lab (CRREL) snow strength project.  The purpose of these data is to measure the meteorological variables that impact the trafficability and supportability of a seasonal snowpack and will be used as forcing data to model snow strength across time and space.  Measured data include snow depth, snow water equivalent (SWE), air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, snow temperature, soil temperature, and radiation.

Dunker and Schwartz at the University of Nebraska at Omaha were curious about experiences of archivists teaching outside the archives, inspired by teaching a new public history course for the history department. There is little existing scholarship about archivists teaching credit-bearing courses outside the library. Existing literature focuses on pedagogical practices for history faculty teaching courses, archivists teaching “one-shots”, and collaborations between teaching faculty and archivists for class assignments. To fill this gap, we created a survey to gather opinions and preferences about teaching credit-bearing courses as part of, or adjacent to, professional responsibilities in academic libraries and archives.

CryoGARS Snow Data

This dataset contains snowpack and snow strength observations from three study plots in Idaho, five study plots in Colorado,  three study plots in Alaska, and four study plots in Wyoming.  These data were collected in an effort to model the trafficability and supportability of a seasonal snowpack, and will be assimilated in SnowModel to model strength across time and space.  Data collected include stratigraphy, density, permittivity, temperature, specific surface area (SSA), snow depth transects, ram penetrometer profiles, Snow Scope profiles, SnowMicroPen (SMP) profiles.
