The objectives of this study are to: 1) analyze and compare animal proverbs in Myanmar and Thai, and 2) analyze the values that are reflected in animal proverbs in Myanmar and Thai. This research article aims to 1) analyze the Phra Malai manuscript of Wat Thewasangharam from a paleographic perspective, and 2) examine the interrelationship between this manuscript and the local society and culture of Kanchanaburi. A qualitative research methodology was employed, incorporating fieldwork data collection and documentary analysis and synthesis. The findings indicate that 1) the Phra Malai manuscript of Wat Thewasangharam is a Buddhist didactic text inscribed on white Thai folding books (samut thai khao), written in Khmer–Pali and Khmer–Thai scripts, and recorded in both Pali and Thai. In this work, three methods are proposed to identify parameters of PI controllers used for wind energy conversion systems based on DFIG. Mathematical model of generator and grid side system is depicted. Three tuning methods; bode-plot, pole-placement, and MATLAB tuner are used for grid side and rotor side converter controllers’ design. Wind turbine system with PI controller parameters obtained using the mentioned method is investigated via MATLAB/SIMULINK under three different scenarios. Additive manufacturing via Direct Layer Deposition (DLD) is what the Laser Net Engineered Shaping or LENS machine is used to create components using metallic powders and a high powdered laser in the Flores Lab. A Pouch Of Trouble For The Pancreas: Unmasking A Case Of Lemmel Syndrome, Aravindharaj Tamilselvan, Sabari Ramesh

Lemmel syndrome is a rare cause of biliary and pancreatic obstruction arising from periampullary duodenal diverticula. We report a 72-year-old woman presenting with acute pancreatitis, biliary dilation, and a periampullary diverticulum causing distal CBD compression. Multimodality imaging, including CT and MRCP, established the diagnosis. Although ERCP was advised, the patient declined and improved with conservative management. Early recognition of this uncommon entity is essential to prevent recurrent pancreatobiliary complications.

The article examines modern approaches to modernizing vegetable oil refining processes from the perspective of increasing energy efficiency, environmental friendliness, and final product quality. Traditional and innovative technologies are analyzed, with a focus on the implementation of membrane filtration, automated control systems, heat exchange complexes, and renewable energy sources. It has been shown that the use of intelligent control systems, high-precision membrane filters, and heat regeneration allows for a 25% reduction in energy consumption, a 20% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, and a significant improvement in acidity, color, and impurity content in the product. This article proposes a comprehensive approach to training process operators, based on computer simulators integrated with digital twins, SCADA/DCS systems, real production data, and artificial intelligence algorithms. This approach is particularly relevant given the increased requirements for safety, productivity, and reliability of industrial facilities, as human factors are often the main cause of accidents (up to 60-80% of cases). The article examines the problems and prospects of creating discrete fiber-optic liquid level gauges. Functional diagrams of single-channel and multi-channel discrete fiber-optic liquid level meters are presented. Examining the challenges of keeping this system running continuously reveals that sustaining its required reliability necessitates replacing malfunctioning measurement systems with operational ones. Investigations into differential equation models demonstrate that system recovery and failure events occur independently and follow a Poisson distribution pattern.

This paper presents a Fuzzy-SPT (Fuzzy Set-Point Tracking) controller designed to combine the strengths of FLC (Fuzzy Logic Control) and PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) control while mitigating their limitations across varying operating conditions. Inspired by state-dependent reasoning but implemented within a single controller, the method uses internal logic to adapt the control effort across different operating regions. FLC handles rapid changes and nonlinear transients, enabling fast system response without overshoot, while PID-like integral action is activated when the FLC reaches steady state or enters a threshold region near the set point, eliminating residual errors and maintaining stable performance. This article examines the problem of detecting and predicting industrial equipment faults using IoT sensor data through machine learning techniques. Sensor readings such as temperature, vibration, pressure, voltage, and current, as well as FFT-based features, were statistically analyzed. Class imbalance and low signal informativeness were identified as key factors limiting model accuracy. Results obtained from Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and XGBoost models were comparatively evaluated, showing that when ROC-AUC values remain around 0.5, distinguishing fault and non-fault states becomes challenging. OBJECTIVE: Including conditions like obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia, metabolic syndrome disrupts metabolic homeostasis and impairs recovery, increasing the risk of surgical complications. This study evaluates the impact of metabolic syndrome on spine surgery outcomes, addressing inconsistencies in the existing literature.
METHODS: Four databases were searched until December 2024 for studies comparing the postoperative complication rates of spine surgeries between patients with and without metabolic syndrome. Following deduplication, 2 authors independently reviewed the studies. For each included study, demographics and incidence rates of postoperative complications were extracted separately by 2 authors. Objectives: This in-vitro study aimed to evaluate whether different deep margin elevation (DME) thicknesses (1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm) influence the fracture resistance and fracture type of molars restored with CAD/CAM lithium disilicate overlays, compared to no elevation.
Methods: Seventy-six extracted human molars were randomly divided into four groups (n=19) based on Deep Margin Elevation thickness: 0 mm (control), 1 mm, 2 mm, and 3 mm. The purpose of this paper is to uncover a latent theory of transformative teaching and learning to be found in James MacGregor Burns’s account of transforming leadership and place it in interdisciplinary conversation with transformative education. The importance of this interdisciplinary exploration consists in this: Burns’s view that good leadership and good teaching are nearly indistinguishable has powerful implications that have been too little recognized. This article showcases the results of one research question in a multi-question study, specifically, “How do interfaith hospital chaplains perceive themselves leaders or part of the leadership process?” To answer this question, researchers interviewed ten interfaith hospital chaplains and employed interpretive phenomenological analysis (IPA). The analysis revealed the participants’ views that interfaith hospital chaplains are part of the leadership processes in hospital systems. A significant opportunity exists for chaplains and the healthcare system at large to engage in a more expansive, interdisciplinary understanding of leadership with the work of healthcare chaplaincy at the center of such discourse. This paper argues that the digital communication environment has qualitatively transformed the dynamics of populist leadership, moving it beyond a reliance on personal charisma. While the affective bonds between leaders and followers—explored by classical theorists like Weber, Freud, and Adorno—are not new, their operation within the platformed public sphere marks a distinct shift. We introduce the concept of Affective Populist Leadership (APL) to conceptualize this shift. APL is a mode of leadership sustained through the strategic cultivation and digital amplification of collective emotions.
