Bilateral optic disc edema is called papilledema when it results from increased intracranial pressure. It is important to perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the brain to rule out lesions that obstruct or alter the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). If the MRI is normal, other organic causes of bilateral disc swelling are excluded, and a diagnosis of idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is considered, particularly in young female patients. This paper describes the conceptual underpinnings and implementation process of an integrated teaching program for dental undergraduate students over a decade, incorporating diverse subjects across different years of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) curriculum. Conceptual frameworks can help ‘illuminate and magnify’ ideas and provide a roadmap. The integration was guided by Kotter’s Change Management Model and Kern’s Six-Step Approach to curricular change. Additionally, learning theories, particularly social learning theories, were employed to enhance knowledge retention and application. This paper provides a systematic overview of the curriculum integration process and the challenges faced, offering a roadmap for other institutions.

Background: Diabetic nephropathy(DN) is one of the most common causes of End-stage renal disease. Diagnosing Nondiabetic renal disease(NDRD) is important as it leads to a specific change in therapy however, the usefulness of pathological diagnosis in predicting the prognosis of diabetics is still questionable. Materials and Method: This is a combined retrospective and prospective study for a period of 5 years. The biopsies were divided into three subgroups: DN, DN with superimposed NDRD and NDRD. Aims and objectives: This study was performed to determine the association between histomorphological features, clinical and laboratory parameters in lupus nephritis and to study the significance of peritubular capillary C4d immunostaining in lupus nephritis.

Materials and methods: Retrospective study was conducted which included all newly diagnosed patients fulfilling the ARA criteria for SLE.

This paper presents a DT framework developed to improve the energy performance of the Podium Office Building in Cairo Festival City, New Cairo, Egypt. A detailed EnergyPlus model, supported by Python-based tools (eppy and pyEnergyPlus), was used to test three HVAC control strategies: a baseline fixed schedule, a real-time DT-informed strategy, and a predictive optimization approach. This study introduces an operational evaluation of a deep learning–driven ionospheric modeling system tailored for Egypt, designed to overcome the limitations of conventional empirical approaches in data-sparse regions. The 3D-DNN Ion-EG model was trained on 737,110 COSMIC-2 radio occultation profiles (2020–2024), integrating spatial temporal coordinates with geophysical drivers to generate high-resolution threedimensional electron density distributions. Validation against the MANS CORS station (Mansoura University) demonstrated strong predictive skill (R2 = 0.9337; r = 0.970) under independent testing. This study explored how female public-school teachers (K-12) in the Cayman Islands experienced and managed work-life balance within the intersecting contexts of gender, culture, and institutional demands. Guided by phenomenological principles and framed through role theory, the study examined how participants defined work-life balance, the challenges they encountered, and the strategies they employed to sustain equilibrium between their professional and personal responsibilities. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with female teachers across the public education system, allowing their lived experiences to inform the analysis. Findings revealed that work-life balance was perceived as a continuous process of negotiation rather than a static state. …

Introduction: Menstrual distress is a broad term describing the constellation of physical, emotional, and behavioural symptoms that occur about menstruation and cause discomfort or disruption to daily life. Phase One analyzed randomized hospital social media activity. and found that low engagement was often linked to unclear target audiences, inconsistent messaging, limited planning, and a lack of measurable goals. Leadership transitions in nonprofit organizations present both challenges and opportunities, particularly in rural community-based theatres where organizational identity is often deeply connected to individual leaders. This study employs narrative inquiry, guided by the lens of Feminist Pragmatism, to explore leadership change at Playhouse in the Park, a long-standing rural community theatre in Murray, Kentucky. Through interviews, reflections, and observations, the study identifies five emergent themes shaping directors’ experiences: expectations, programming content, personality, relational expectations, and the balance between cautiousness and freedom. This article presents preliminary findings from a global, cross-national study examining the accessibility, structure, and transparency of nonprofit registry systems across all countries worldwide. In addition to determining whether an online national nonprofit database exists in each country, the study evaluates who operates these systems—government authorities or civil society organizations—and identifies cases in which multiple registries are maintained. The analysis also incorporates national context indicators—such as population, human rights ratings, internet access, and governance—but these variables are not analyzed in this preliminary article. Registration requirements also vary substantially across countries, with many systems requiring only minimal documentation and limited verification. …

Background and Objective: The goal of this study was to evaluate the impact of flipped classroom teaching and virtual reality (VR) on fourth-year dental students' comprehension of procedures and concepts in local anesthesia courses. Methods: The School of Dentistry at Chung Shan Medical University created a VR simulation that guided students through an inferior alveolar nerve block anesthesia procedure using HTC Vive headsets. Following traditional classroom lectures, students of the academic year 2022 participated in VR simulations and one-on-one practice, which was supplemented by instructional videos.
