Polarographic And Electro-Chemical Investigations In The Perinaphthenone System, Peter Beckmann
Polarographic And Electro-Chemical Investigations In The Perinaphthenone System, Peter Beckmann
University of Wollongong Thesis Collection 1954-2016
The semi-aromatic character of perinaphthenone is known. It was thought of interest to examine some of its reactions by physicochemical methods. The electrolytic reduction processes of perinaphthenone, some of its derivatives and benzanthrone in conjunction with that of benzalacetophenone investigated by Pasternak was compared with other properties of these ketones, such as the stability of the free radical, their ease of protonation and their chemical reactivity.
