In 2017, the U.S. Congress mandated a specific reorganization and centralized approach in military medicine. The Air Force developed a medical reform construct to organize military treatment facilities (MTFs). The leaders of each unit are required to comply with the reorganization using internal resources with no additional funding or personnel. The purpose of this study was to deliver a plan of action and milestones (POAM) suitable for workgroup implementation to achieve the mandated health unit integration at a medium-sized MTF. This study explored a process that can help nonprofit organizations design and implement a new contract management system with a standardized workflow associated with administering their government contracts. The problem directly resulted in a decrease in efficiency and profitability for the organization. A mixed method study was conducted based on the business process reengineering (BPR) model. Abstract The U.S. Congress created and adopted the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act (FSIA) to address foreign diplomatic immunity matters. The purpose of this generic qualitative study was to analyze the policy implications of implementing FISA by public administrators. Mettler and SoRelle’s policy feedback theory provided the theoretical foundation for this study. The area of interest for this study was the 50 U.S. states with a focus on two metropolitan areas that include a large diplomatic contingent. The purpose of this qualitative participatory action research was to explore how complexity is engaged and experienced in complex regulatory systems, and to understand how cannabis might be regulated in ways that lead to socially equitable conditions. This was accomplished by studying the lived experiences of governmental leaders charged with the responsibility of establishing regulatory frameworks for legalized cannabis where none previously existed. The Coalition for Healthy Nevada Lands, Wildlife and Free-roaming Horses (CHNL) is dedicated to proper management of free-roaming horses (Equus caballus) and burros (E. asinus) so rangelands are healthy, which benefits wildlife and the horses and burros themselves. The CHNL proposes the rapid reduction of horses and burros on designated public lands to achieve appropriate management levels (AML). After these reductions, the use of fertility control, supplemented with some gathers and adoption of gathered horses, should allow the Bureau of Land Management to economically maintain horse and burro populations at AML.
