هدف البحث الى معرفة تاثير العائد على حقوق الملكية والكفاءة التشغيلية للبنك على قيمة البنوك التجارية فضلا عن معرفة المشكلات الاساسية التي تواجه البنوك التجارية، ويمكن بيان مشكلة البحث بالسؤال الاتي: ما هو تاثير الكفاءة التشغيلية على الايرادات؟

وتوصل البحث الى وجود علاقة مباشرة بين قيمة اصول البنك وقيمة البنك ، فكل زيادة بمقدار درجة واحدة في المتغير المستقل (الرافعة المالية) يزيد المتغير التابع (قيمة البنك التجاري) بمقدار 0.6408) وثبات جميع المتغيرات المستقلة الأخرى، واقترح البحث جملة من التوصيات أهمها: على البنوك ان تنوع في مجال الاعمال المصرفية وان تدخل تكنولوجيا المعلومات في العمل المصرفي بشكل موجز في عملها مما …

تهدف الدراسة الحالية قياس مستوى الوضوح الاستراتيجي لدى القادة الإداريون في جامعة الشرقية بسلطنة عمان، تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، كما استخدمت الاستبانة في جمع البيانات والمعلومات وتم تطبيقها على عينة مكونة من (384) قيادي، وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن مستوى الوضوح الاستراتيجي للأداء المؤسسي لدى موظفي جامعة الشرقية بسلطنة عمان كان عاليا، وكذلك جاء متوسطًا أيضًا في بعد وضوح الإجراءات والأنشطة، وبعد وضوح الأهداف وبعد وضوح الهيكل التنظيمي، بينت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (α ≤ 0.05) بين استجابات أفراد عينة البحث بسبب متغيرات الجنس، والمؤهل العلمي، وسنوات الخبرة، والمسمى الوظيفي.

This study investigates the determinants of financial transparency in local governments, specifically measured by the availability of financial documents on official websites. Hypotheses were developed to examine the relationships between financial transparency and three categories of influencing factors: community environmental characteristics, governance structures, and financial conditions. Using empirical analysis on a sample of 159 counties in Georgia, the findings reveal varying levels of support for the proposed hypotheses. Key determinants of financial transparency include population size, median household income, and the size of the board of commissioners. Conversely, financial condition factors were not found to significantly influence financial transparency. These …

The purpose of this research is to examine policy priorities of municipal legislation designed to promote gender equity. We ask the following research question: How does municipal policy address gender equity? To answer this question, we identify New York City legislation that targets gender equity passed under the DeBlasio administration (2014–2022). Using Atlas.TI, legislation is organized around The New York City Commission on Gender Equity’s goals to identify policy priorities. Our findings indicate that despite progressive policy efforts, policy priorities remain focused on gender stereotypes and long-standing issues, particularly sexual harassment and violence.

In the early 2020s, as the COVID-19 pandemic unfolded, governments, bureaucracies, and health practitioners around the globe faced unforeseen tasks and responsibilities. The novelty and intensity of the crisis spurred innovation and experimentation in public policy, health policy, and crisis management. However, the pandemic also revealed bottlenecks and adverse incentives within policy framework and healthcare systems. From this experience, critical lessons emerged: the paramount importance of swift and well-informed policy responses and the ability to optimize ongoing policy response as the crisis unfolds.

Over 400,000 people are incarcerated awaiting trial each day in the United States. Many of these individuals are held because they are unable to post cash bail, generating substantial economic inequality between those who are able to be released and those who must wait. Illinois's Pretrial Fairness Act (PFA) banned cash bail in 2023 to reduce economic inequity and remove judicial discretion in pretrial decisions. I use daily roster data from multiple suburban and rural Illinois jails and a regression-discontinuity-in-time (RDiT) approach to test for changes to jail composition after the law went into effect.
