Organizational effectiveness is a term without a single definition about the nonprofit community; it is difficult to define, much less measure, due to the wide disparity in that community. Inconsistency in the sector leads to an array of hypotheses in the literature addressing organizational effectiveness. Through a comprehensive examination of a single nonprofit organization, this qualitative case study examines the gap between the expectations of board performance by the nonprofit organization’s senior leadership and the board members’ self-perception of their governance role. Classroom management is a challenge for beginning teachers. To address this challenge, a model to provide support for beginning teachers was developed, consisting of a one-day workshop on classroom management, followed with online support extending over eight weeks. Specific classroom management strategies included (a) developing a foundation based on relationships; (b) preventing disruptions with procedures and routines; (c) responding to disruptions and rule violations; (d) providing inclusion for students with special needs; and (e) resolving extreme or continuing conflicts. Statistics is a required competency in numerous college majors, but students frequently approach the topic with anxiety. This paper describes an undergraduate statistics course that was "flipped," with most of the content delivery moved online and class time devoted to application and practice. Students were given a menu of learning tools from which to choose and were free to utilize as many or as few as they felt was appropriate, giving them ownership of their learning experience and the opportunity to tailor the course to their personal needs. Within the empirical literature related to leadership, female leaders are regularly rated higher on dimensions such as being transformational and being effective. Some studies have found that gender plays a role in the follower-leader relationship, and this interaction can be assessed. An emerging model of leadership is authentic leadership. This article analyzed whether there was an interaction between the gender of the leader and gender of the follower when assessing how authentic leaders were. Female followers rated female leaders higher on authenticity than male leaders, while male followers rated male leaders as more authentic than female leaders. Implications for the …

While many studies have examined self-exclusion few have focused on the processes through which gamblers return at the end of their agreements. In 2014, the RGC Centre for the Advancement of Best Practices examined voluntary self-exclusion reinstatement and renewal in an effort to develop evidence-informed best-practices for both land-based and online gambling operations. The presentation outlines the findings of the study and the recommended best practices for reintegration and ban renewal.

يهدف البحث إلى قياس مستوى جودة الارباح باستخدام نموذج التدفقات والمستحقات ((Richardson ومن ثم بيان مدى تأثرها بمحددات هيكل الملكية بالتطبيق على ثمانية من المصارف العراقية التجارية الخاصة المدرجة في سوق العراق للأوراق المالية للفترة من 2004-2013. وقد تم استخدام البرنامج الإحصائي SSPS في قياس واختبار متغيرات البحث باستعمال الانحدار الخطي البسيط والمتعدد, واختبار T-Test وقد توصل البحث إلى ان هناك مستوى مقبول من الجودة في ارباح تلك المصارف,وبينت النتائج الاجمالية ان هناك اثر لمحددات هيكل الملكية على مستوى جودة الارباح.وانطلاقا من النتائج السابقة يوصي الباحث بضرورة اعتماد مؤشرا لقياس جودة الارباح في البيئة العراقية, فضلا عن تقنين محددات هيكل …

The purpose of the present study was to explore the effects inclusion-exclusion on the job-related attitudes of the organizational workforce. These attitudes included job satisfaction, organizational commitment, burnout, and turnover intention. A quantitative survey was conducted using a sample of employees of a social service organization in San Bernardino County. Participants include employees from all levels and program areas of the social service organization. Study data was collected through the use of a self-report questionnaire. تهدف الدراسة لبيان اثر العمق المالي مقاسا ب ومعدل سعر صرف الدينار العراقي مقابل الدولار الامريكي على معدل التضخم في العراق للمدة (1970-2014). من جهة اخرى استخدمت طريقة Engle-Granger ذات الخطوتين وطريقة Johanson and Juselius لاختبار التكامل المشترك بين المتغيرات، ولتحديد اتجاه العلاقة السببية في الاجلين القصير والطويل بين المتغيرات أستخدم نموذج تصحيح الخطأ VECM. النتائج اشارت الى وجود تكامل مشترك بين العمق المالي وبين معدل التضخم وكذلك بين معدل سعر الصرف و معدل التضخم، وان هناك علاقة سببية تتجه من العمق المالي ومعدل سعر الصرف الى معدل التضخم في الاجلين القصير والطويل. وعليه، يجب التحكم في عرض النقود وايجاد …
