This study aimed to review the scientific literature related to dimensions studied in Coronavirus-Related Health Literacy.

Methods: This study is a narrative review. The articles addressed Coronavirus-Related Health Literacy searched in Scopus and Web of Science (WoS), and then reviewed.

Data Disaggregation: The Case Of Asian And Pacific Islander Data And The Role Of Health Sciences Librarians, Seema Bhakta

Health disparities within Asian and Pacific Islander (API) communities are often masked due to aggregated data. Lack of adequate data limits required health care services for these communities. While moving forward toward health equity, it is critical that disparities for API communities are acknowledged and addressed. This article focuses on the issues of aggregated data for API communities followed by suggestions on how health sciences librarians can support and promote better practices for data disaggregation.

The Library Committee is a requirement of the RGH Medical/Dental Staff and is facilitated by Dr. Scott Schabel. After RGH and Unity merged, the Libraries formed one department and expanded access and services to all RRH sites. The Library committee, composed of staff from across the health system, provide feedback and share library news with their teams. The committee meets 2x/year via Zoom.

This report gives an update of the Library's status.

The goal of this research was to see how the internet helped to bridge the digital divide between Jordanians during the Coronavirus outbreak. A quantitative approach is adopted. 210 questionnaire forms were distributed randomly to the members of the sample through using: (https://docs.google.com). They were distributed using email and WhatsApp. 200 forms were analyzed. They represent 95% of the distributed forms. The questionnaire consists of 20 statements. February 8 is National Black Women Physicians Day! The McGovern Historical Center highlights one of many amazing Black women physicians in early Texas. In 1950, less than 6% of doctors nationwide were women. Of that number, less than 2% of women physicians in the United States were Black. To practice medicine as a Black woman in the south prior to the start of the Civil Rights Movement that is why celebrating these women’s accomplishments is so important.

This study deals with the awareness and usage of various services and facilities offered by the BLDE (DU) central library during the Pandemic. This lightning talk will provide an overview of two projects faculty librarians undertook in response to the emerging information literacy needs of various stakeholders at Rowan University. The two projects include: a Covid-19 and misinformation online guide and a Covid-19 online research-focused guide for healthcare practitioners.

While these projects were created for different University populations with distinct informational needs (teachers, students, the general public, medical practitioners/researchers), a common theme across these projects was librarians quickly filling information gaps in response to the global Covid-19 pandemic.

Background: The multi-station, summative OSCE includes a case designed to assess third-year medical students’ ability to access information at the point of care using Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) resources. Over the years, students have perceived this case to be difficult and confusing, which resulted in low performance. To address these concerns, a librarian-led EBM case learning session was developed and integrated into the formative, practice OSCE starting in 2018. The goals of the session were to increase understanding of how to search the vetted resource effectively and efficiently, incorporate evidence into practice, and emphasize the importance of EBM in clinical care. …

This study aimed to assess the level of knowledge, attitude, and practice regarding the coronavirus disease among Iranian rural and urban healthcare workers. The study population consisted of all healthcare experts and staff working in 38 rural health centers in Iran. An online questionnaire was distributed in November 2021. The anonymous questionnaire was comprised of a series of questions about demographic information; knowledge about COVID-19, the attitudes and preventive practices toward COVID-19. The majority of the participants (92.6%) had appropriate knowledge about COVID-19 disease. Most of the participants (77.2%) had a good attitude toward COVID-19 and 60.3% showed good practice. …

This ongoing research examines the Bibliotherapy in several aspects. Bibliotherapy is the "process of dynamic interactions between the personality of the reader and literature as a psychological field which may be utilized for personality assessment, adjustment and growth" (Shrodes, 1949). The focus of the study is on defining the concept, determining the capacity of Bibliotherapy to support mental well-being and discuss the possible challenges in applying Bibliotherapy to the Sri Lankan context. The Impact Of Light Intensity On The Subjective Complaints Of Librarians And Users: An Investigation Of An Academic Library, Tri Niswati Utami, Retno Sayekti, Triana Santi

The objective of this study is to analyze the impact of light intensity on the subjective complaints of librarians and visitiors at an academic library. This research applied both quantitative and qualitative techniques on 696 visitors and librarians. The result suggests that the effects of light intensity include eyestrain, reading difficulty, dizziness, shoulder and back pains, as well as impaired concentration. Also, the frequency of reading and working impacted the subjective complaints. Furthermore, the intensity as well as the frequency of reading and working greatly influenced the subjective complaints. The present study was investigated among the doctors of Primary Health Centre of Haryana to assess information needs, sources and the barriers to accessing information.
