Facial Expression Synthesis Using Mals-Based Bilinear Factorization Model, Jiaci Guo, Shuling Dai
Facial Expression Synthesis Using Mals-Based Bilinear Factorization Model, Jiaci Guo, Shuling Dai
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: Study on the facial expression synthesis is a constructive and creative subject in the field of virtual reality technology. The bilinear model is used for facial expression synthesis by separating the identity factor and the expression factor. The translation procedure in the bilinear model always requires a repetitive computation of matrix inverse operations to reach the identity factor and the expression factor. This computation may be instable when the observation data has the correlation or noisy information. In order to increase the stability of the bilinear model for expression synthesis, the modified iterative least square (MALS) regression is introduced …

Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: Aimed at the problem of encoder fault of 3D stage wire system, combined with LADRC, two kinds of fault tolerant control strategiesare presented based on fault diagnosis reliability evaluation (FDRE) to prevent the spread of fault effects in the system and causing accidents. Based on this, the soft and hard smooth transition soft redundant switching mechanism is designed. The simulation results show that the control strategy can ensure encoder fault detection in a timely and reliable manner, and effectively improve the safety and reliability of 3D stage wire system.

Multi-Objective Operation Scheduling Optimization Of Shipborne-Equipment Based On Genetic Algorithm, Jinsong Bao, Zhiqiang Li, Yaqin Zhou
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: Multi-objective operation scheduling of shipborne equipment is a complex combinational optimization problem under multi-task system. Existing research focuses mainly on single-objective optimization while several other objectives need to be considered during real operation such as path, duration, resource, etc. Considering the operation scheduling before exporting of an amphibious landing ship as the research object, both scheduling duration and resource requirement under the precedence constraint are optimized. The mathematical model of this multi-objective operation scheduling is established and solved using genetic algorithm. A fitness function which can be self-adaptively adjusted is designed; an adapting encoding strategy, a crossover operator, and …

Trajectory Planning Method Of Overhead Crane, Xuejuan Shao, Li Yao, Jinggang Zhang, Xueliang Zhang
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: To make the trolley of bridge crane move stably with smooth acceleration, a polynomial acceleration trajectory is proposed based on the constraint conditions of the crane and the friction between the trolley and the rail. An anti-swing plan is designed employing the dynamic coupling relationship between the motion of the trolley and the load swing. Results indicate that when the length of the rope is changed, the swing angle of the trolley is still within the limits. The stability of the system is proved by constructing Lyapunov energy equations, and the Barbalat lemma confirms that the planned reference trajectory …

The new memristor system is applied in the image encryption to improve the security of the encryption key. A dual encryption algorithm is used, which makes every pixel value of plaintext influence all pixel values of ciphertext. Although there is no direct link between plaintext and ciphertext, the sensibility of ciphertext varying with …

Abstract: Named entity recognition in Thai language is aimed to identify the names of a person, a locality,an organization or an institution, and so on. Due to the complexity of Thai word formation method and grammar rules, to solve this problem, the idea of the approach proposed is to treat the task of named entity recognition in Thai language as labeling the sign of a series of words in Thai sentence. Given the characteristics of Thai language itself, certain features in the context of the samples in the Thai entity recognition corpus are extracted to train the hidden Markov model and …

A variant bat algorithm is introduced to calculate the weight matrix, giving the new learning rules. Simulation experiments are made for the proposed algorithm, and …
Design, Fabrication And Validation Of A Hand-Wore Device For Assisted Object Grasping For The Visually Impaired, Xiaoping Liu
Design, Fabrication And Validation Of A Hand-Wore Device For Assisted Object Grasping For The Visually Impaired, Xiaoping Liu
Theses and Dissertations
Grasping a target object is very challenging to a visually impaired individual due to vision loss. An object grasping task can be divided into three sub-tasks: detecting the target ob-ject, maintaining hand-object alignment while approaching the object, and taking a hold of it. Vision loss makes the first two sub-tasks impossible. To help a visually impaired per-son re-gain the capability in performing the two sub-tasks, a hand-worn assistive device is designed. The device consists of control and visual guidance. Control involves an exo-skeleton mechanism worn by user’s right hand. The mechanism, driven by two micro-motors, drags the thumb to move …

New Clock-Driven Algorithm Based On Separation Of Synaptic Conductance Computation, Zhijie Wang, Peng Xia, Han Fang, Xiaochun Gu
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: In order to reduce the computing time when simulating the biologic neural network, an efficient clock-driven algorithm based on the separation of synaptic conductance computation is presented. It is found that the calculation of the synaptic state variables can be separated into two independent parts: one called conductance coefficient related with the pre-synaptic neuron, and the other called synaptic current. By introducing the data structure of the virtual synapse cluster to storing sequences of synaptic conductance coefficient, the former part can be calculated independently according to the spiking states of pre-synaptic neuron at each time step. When calculating the …

Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: The path planning of multi-agent in an unknown large-scale scene needs an efficient and stable algorithm, and needs to solve multi-agent collision avoidance problem, and then completes a real-time path planning in Web3D. To solve above problems, the DP-Q(λ) algorithm is proposed; and the direction constraints, high reward or punishment weight training methods are used to adjust the values of reward or punishment by using a probability p (0-1 random number). The value from reward or punishment determines its next step path planning strategy. If the next position is free, the agent could walk to it. The above strategy …

Modeling And Simulation Of False Report Filtering Scheme Based On Position In Wireless Sensor Networks, Zhixiong Liu, Limiao Li
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: In wireless sensor networks, the adversary can inject false reports from compromised nodes. Previous security designs cannot detect faked reports that are forged coordinately by a group of compromised nodes. Furthermore, in sparse areas, some events failed to be reported to sink. This paper proposes a position based filtering scheme (PFS). It derives the optimal coverage degree ω, and the nodes are deployed accordingly. After deployment, each node distributes its position to some other nodes. When a report is generated for an observed event, it must carry t distinct MACs (Message Authentication Codes) along with positions of all detecting …
