Material And Making: An Exploration Of Georgia Wild Clays, Nina Samuels

Honors College Theses

Wild clay is an abundant and diverse material that has a long history with both utilitarian and decorative uses. Since the industrial revolution, processed and manufactured clay bodies have become commonplace. However, there has been a recent resurgence in the use of wild clays in contemporary ceramic practices for the purposes of material connection, accessibility, and sustainability.

This thesis explores the abundant wild clays of Georgia including the sourcing, processing, testing, of these materials. It also shows examples of the portfolio of work that was created with this research.

The reading achievement gap is generally identified as the increasing disparity between higher-level students and lower-level students within the same grade or school level. Student data presented in the form of secondary reading assessment scores were analyzed for the state of Georgia, as well as nationally, for student achievement regarding reading skills in public schools from grades 3-5. Interviews conducted with educational professionals were conducted to reveal anecdotal manifestations of what the presented data looks like in terms of student ability, and how the teaching practice has reacted to such manifestations. The Anthology of American Folk Music is a collection of eight-four selections of southern vernacular recordings made for commercial record labels in the 1920s and 1930s and assembled into a unified collage by Harry Smith. Smith was an experimental filmmaker, painter, and self-taught anthropologist with a deep interest in renaissance hermeticism and mysticism who worked with Moe Asch in 1952 to release the six-record set and accompanying handbook on Folkways Records. This paper explores the experiences of six teacher learners and one teacher educator in a graduate course on aesthetic education at a Midwestern university in the U.S. Using collective autoethnography and arts-practice research, the researcher/participants examine how aesthetic experiences were activated in the learning environment and how this activation supported the development of transformational rethinking that led to the changing of formed habits of teaching. This study examined the parameters needed to reliably induce a freezing fear response to a predator-like auditory stimulus in the earthworm species Eisenia Fetida. Previous work from our lab found that a grunting noise was more reliable in causing freezing compared to a mole sound, i.e. artificial versus natural predators of E. Fetida (Worthen et al., 2024). In the present study, 8 amplitude levels of grunting sound were presented in either serial or random order. While loud criticisms of religion continue to clatter in the media and the law reviews, the U.S. Supreme Court has led a great awakening of American religious freedom. In more than two dozen cases since 2011, the Court has used both the First Amendment and federal statutes to strengthen the rights of religious organizations to make their own internal decisions about employment and employee benefits. The Court has held that some forms of government aid to religion and religious education are not only permissible under the Establishment Clause, but also required under the Free Exercise and Free Speech Clauses. After centuries of colonial subordination, Black and Brown former colonies are still fighting to achieve the fruits of decolonization. The traditional theory is that former colonies will emerge from the colonial period with the legal mandate and international recognition needed to chart their own futures. But, for those Black and Brown British colonies that achieved political independence, it became clear that, without economic strength to care for their societies, legal separation could not deliver on its promise of freedom from subordination. This Essay examines Anna Nicole's surprising constitutional estates legacy in three parts. First, it overviews the bitter litigation between Anna Nicole and the estate of J. Howard Marshall II. It then turns to the pair of Supreme Court cases spawned by that litigation. Part II discusses the holding and significance of Marshall v. Marshall, a successful challenge to the scope of the wills exception to federal jurisdiction. Part III dis­cusses the holding and significance of Stern v. Originalism’s critics have failed to block its rise. For many jurists and legal scholars, the question is no longer whether to espouse originalism but how to espouse it. This Article argues that critics have ceded too much ground by focusing on discrediting originalism as either bad history or shoddy linguistics. To disrupt the cycle of endless “methodological” refinements and effectively address originalism’s continued popularity, critics must do two things: identify a better disciplinary analogue for originalist interpretation and advance an argument that moves beyond methods.

This study explores the formulation, characterization, and printability of prototype inks based on TPX and TPSP polymer matrices, with a focus on the effects of pigment composition, viscosity, and flexibility modifiers. FT-IR and XRF analyses confirmed that both ink types primarily contained titanium dioxide (TiO₂) and aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃), indicating the use of similar pigments. The results revealed that ink viscosity significantly influenced printability. TPX-based inks exhibited high viscosity, resulting in poor ink transfer and failed printing, while TPSP-based inks demonstrated lower viscosity and better print performance. However, both ink types showed limited opacity, even after multiple print layers. Microscopic …

งานวิจัยนี้มีแนวคิดนำการพิมพ์สามมิติแบบสเตียริโอลิโทกราฟี หรือ Stereolithography (SLA) ที่มีอยู่เดิม ซึ่งอาศัยหลักการแข็งตัวตามกระบวนการโฟโต้พอลิเมอไรเซชันเฉพาะจุด (localized photopolymerization process) มาผสมผสานกับหลักการพิมพ์สีด้วยระบบการพิมพ์อิงก์เจ็ตที่ใช้งานอย่างแพร่หลาย เพื่อเพิ่มคุณภาพด้านการผลิตสี โดยการผสมสารให้สี (colorant) ในส่วนประกอบของหมึกพิมพ์เหลวที่มีอยู่เดิมในการพิมพ์สามมิติแบบสเตียริโอลิโทกราฟี เพื่อใช้เตรียมเป็นแม่สีตามหลักการการผสมสีแบบลบ ดังนั้นงานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อหาสัดส่วนสารให้สี คือ สีย้อมประเภท solvent ได้แก่ solvent blue 70 (SB70), solvent red 49 (SR49) และ solvent yellow 82 (SY82) ในหมึกพิมพ์เหลวเพื่อเตรียมเป็นแม่สีสำหรับกระบวนการพิมพ์สามมิติแบบสเตียริโอลิโทกราฟี ได้แก่ ไซแอน มาเจนตา และเหลือง ตามลำดับ สารเคมีที่เลือกใช้ในการศึกษานี้ ได้แก่ 2-ethylhexyl acrylate (2-EHA) ทำหน้าที่เป็นมอนอเมอร์, hexafunctional thioether dendritic acrylate oligomer (BDT1006) ทำหน้าที่เป็นเรซินและโอลิโกเมอร์, diphenyl (2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl) phosphine oxide (TPO) ทำหน้าที่เป็นสารริเริ่มปฏิกิริยาด้วยแสง (photoinitiator) วิธีการดำเนินการวิจัยแบ่งเป็น 3 ตอน คือ ตอนที่ 1 หาช่วงการละลายของตัวอย่างสารละลายสีในส่วนประกอบของหมึกพิมพ์เหลว ทำให้ทราบขีดจำกัดการละลายเพื่อป้องกันปัญหาการตกตะกอนและอาจก่อให้เกิดการอุดตันหัวพิมพ์ได้ในภายหลัง ตอนที่ 2 หาสัดส่วนที่เหมาะสมสำหรับเตรียมเป็นแม่สีสำหรับการพิมพ์สามมิติแบบสเตียริโอลิโทกราฟีทั้งสามสี โดยนำค่าความเข้มข้นสูงสุดที่สารให้สีสามารถละลายได้ในส่วนประกอบของหมึกพิมพ์เหลวมาก่อรูปเป็นชั้นฟิล์ม และนำชั้นฟิล์มที่ได้มาวัดค่าการส่องผ่าน (transmittance) เพื่อพิจารณาจากการดูดกลืนแสงทั้งสามช่วง ได้แก่ แสงสีแดงที่ความยาวคลื่น 620 นาโนเมตร, แสงสีเขียวที่ความยาวคลื่น 530 นาโนเมตร และแสงสีน้ำเงินที่ความยาวคลื่น 430 นาโนเมตร โดยหมึกพิมพ์เหลวต้องมีการดูดกลืนแสงในช่วงความยาวคลื่นที่ต้องการมากที่สุดเพียงช่วงเดียว แต่ยังคงสะท้อนแสงหรือไม่ดูดกลืนแสงอีกสองช่วงที่เหลือ จึงจะมีคุณสมบัติครบถ้วนเหมาะสมแก่การเป็นแม่สี ตอนที่ 3 หาขอบเขตสีที่แม่สีสามารถพิมพ์ได้จากอ่อนที่สุดไปสู่เข้มที่สุด และขอบเขตสีที่ได้จากการผสมแม่สีทั้ง 3 สี ในอัตราส่วนความเข้มข้นต่าง ๆ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า หมึกพิมพ์เหลวจาก Solvent Blue 70 …

การศึกษาวัจนกรรมการปลอบใจของผู้พูดภาษาไทยกับผู้เรียนภาษาไทยชาวจีน และผู้พูดภาษาจีนกับผู้เรียนภาษาจีนชาวไทย, กุ้ยหลิง หู

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษากลวิธีทางภาษาที่ปรากฏในการแสดงวัจนกรรมการปลอบใจของผู้พูดภาษาไทย ผู้พูดภาษาจีน ผู้เรียนภาษาไทยชาวจีน และผู้เรียนภาษาจีนชาวไทย รวมถึงการถ่ายโอนทางวัจนปฏิบัติศาสตร์จากภาษาแม่ และศึกษาปัจจัยระดับความรุนแรงของเหตุการณ์ที่มีผลต่อกลวิธีทางภาษาในวัจนกรรมการปลอบใจของผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามทั้ง 4 กลุ่ม ผู้วิจัยเก็บข้อมูลด้วยแบบสอบถามชนิดเติมเต็มบทสนทนา (DCT) จากกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่เป็นนิสิตนักศึกษาอยู่ชั้นปีที่ 3-4 ทั้งสิ้น 240 คน แบ่งออกเป็น 4 กลุ่ม กลุ่มละ 60 คน ได้แก่ ผู้พูดภาษาไทย ผู้พูดภาษาจีน ผู้เรียนภาษาไทยชาวจีน และผู้เรียนภาษาจีนชาวไทย โดยใช้ทฤษฎีวัจนกรรม วัจนปฏิบัติศาสตร์ข้ามวัฒนธรรม และวัจนปฏิบัติศาสตร์อันตรภาษาเป็นแนวคิดสำคัญ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ผู้เรียนภาษาไทยชาวจีนและผู้เรียนภาษาจีนชาวไทยใช้กลวิธีทางภาษาหลากหลายกลวิธีเช่นเดียวกับผู้พูดเจ้าของภาษาในแต่ละกลุ่ม โดยทั้งสองกลุ่มใช้กลวิธีตรงในลักษณะเดียวกับเจ้าของภาษาทั้งจำนวนและลำดับความถี่จากมากไปหาน้อย และนิยมใช้กลวิธีอ้อมการแนะนำให้ปฏิบัติมากที่สุดเช่นเดียวกับเจ้าของภาษาในแต่ละกลุ่ม อย่างไรก็ตาม แต่ละกลุ่มเลือกใช้กลวิธีทางภาษาที่แตกต่างกัน กล่าวคือ กลวิธีการอ้างถึงศาสนา พบในผู้พูดภาษาไทยและผู้เรียนภาษาจีนชาวไทย กลวิธีการอ้างถึงตำนาน สุภาษิต และเนื้อเพลงพบในผู้พูดภาษาจีน กลวิธีการอวยพรพบในผู้พูดภาษาไทยและผู้พูดภาษาจีน แต่กลวิธีการเตือนไม่พบในผู้พูดภาษาไทย ส่วนกลวิธีเสริมพบการร้องเรียกผู้ฟังให้สนใจถ้อยคำที่จะกล่าวตามมาของผู้พูดภาษาไทย คือ การเกริ่นนำ และยังพบกลวิธีเสริมที่ช่วยแสดงอารมณ์ความรู้สึกของผู้พูด ซึ่งมีลักษณะของการใช้คำลงท้าย และการใช้คำสรรพนาม ส่วนผู้เรียนภาษาไทยชาวจีนพบกลวิธีเสริมในลักษณะของการใช้คำบอกสถานภาพด้วย นอกจากนี้ ยังพบว่ารูปแบบกลวิธีร่วมมีความแตกต่างกัน คือ ผู้เรียนภาษาไทยชาวจีนนิยมใช้กลวิธีตรงร่วมกับกลวิธีอ้อมเช่นเดียวกับผู้พูดภาษาจีน แตกต่างจากผู้พูดภาษาไทยนิยมใช้กลวิธีอ้อมร่วมกับกลวิธีอ้อม ส่วนผู้เรียนภาษาจีนชาวไทยนิยมใช้กลวิธีตรงร่วมกับกลวิธีอ้อมเช่นเดียวกับผู้พูดภาษาจีน ผลการศึกษายังแสดงให้เห็นถึงการถ่ายโอนทาง วัจนปฏิบัติศาสจร์จากภาษาแม่ทั้งด้านบวกและด้านลบ และทั้งการถ่ายโอนด้านทางวัจนปฏิบัติด้านภาษาศาสตร์ (Pragmalinguistic transfer) และการถ่ายโอนทางวัจนปฏิบัติศาสตร์ด้านสังคม (Sociopragmatic Transfer) ของผู้เรียนภาษาไทยชาวจีนและผู้เรียนภาษาจีนชาวไทย ด้านปัจจัยระดับความรุนแรงของเหตุการณ์พบว่าเป็นปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการเลือกใช้กลวิธีทางภาษาในการแสดงวัจนกรรม การปลอบใจของผู้พูดภาษาไทยกับผู้เรียนภาษาไทยชาวจีน และผู้พูดภาษาจีนกับผู้เรียนภาษาจีนชาวไทย โดยพบว่า กลวิธีทางภาษาที่เลือกใช้แตกต่างกันไปตามระดับความรุนแรงของเหตุการณ์ กล่าวคือ ทั้ง 4 กลุ่มเลือกใช้ 2 กลวิธีร่วมกันมากที่สุดในทุกระดับ ความรุนแรง แต่พบว่าคนไทย (ผู้พูดภาษาไทยและผู้เรียนภาษาจีนชาวไทย) เลือกใช้กลวิธีหลายกลวิธีร่วมกันมากกว่าคนจีน (ผู้พูดภาษาจีนและผู้เรียนภาษาไทยชาวจีน) ในทุกระดับความรุนแรงของเหตุการณ์ ซึ่งผลการศึกษานี้สอดคล้องกับสมมติฐานที่ตั้งไว้

ปัจจุบันจีนได้ดำเนินนโยบายต่างประเทศที่มีลักษณะเชิงรุกและมั่นใจมากขึ้นในประเด็น อาณาเขต ซึ่งนักวิชาการจำนวนมากมองว่าเป็นผลจากกระแสชาตินิยมที่ทวีความเข้มข้นขึ้น วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการทำงานของชาตินิยมจีนและผลกระทบที่มีต่อ นโยบายและพฤติกรรมของรัฐบาลภายใต้การนำของประธานาธิบดีสี จิ้นผิง ในกรณีข้อพิพาทหมู่ เกาะเตียวหยู/เซ็งกากุ ผู้เขียนใช้กรอบแนวคิดสัจนิยมคลาสสิกใหม่ โดยถือชาตินิยมเป็นตัวแปร ภายในประเทศ และนำมาวิเคราะห์นโยบายของจีนภายใต้บริบทที่แตกต่างกัน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า แรงกดดันจากกระแสชาตินิยมมีบทบาทสำคัญในการผลักดันให้จีนดำเนินนโยบายที่แข็งกร้าวมาก ขึ้นต่อประเด็นหมู่เกาะเตียวหยู อย่างไรก็ตาม อิทธิพลของชาตินิยมยังคงถูกจำกัดโดยปัจจัยเชิง โครงสร้างและบริบทภายในประเทศ ส่งผลให้รัฐบาลภายใต้การนำของสี จิ้นผิงมิได้ดำเนินนโยบาย ชาตินิยมอย่างสุดโต่ง หากแต่แสดงให้เห็นถึงความพยายามสร้างสมดุลระหว่างการตอบสนองต่อ แรงกดดันจากกระแสชาตินิยมภายในประเทศกับการจัดการความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศ วิทยานิพนธ์นี้ได้นำเสนอกรอบการวิเคราะห์ที่ช่วยให้เข้าใจพลวัตของปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างชาตินิยม กับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศได้อย่างเป็นระบบ

การวิจัยและสร้างสรรค์ในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้างงานจิตรกรรมที่เกิดจากการพิจารณาแรงบันดาลใจส่วนตัว ผ่านการค้นคว้าข้อมูล ทบทวนวรรณกรรมและพัฒนาเป็นงานศิลปะ เพื่อเข้าใจเหตุผลการตกหลุมรัก ซึ่งเป็นพื้นฐานในบริบทชีวิตประจำวัน โดยงานวิจัยนี้ได้ศึกษาค้นคว้าข้อมูลภาคเอกสาร การศึกษาผลงานศิลปิน และพัฒนาเป็นงานสร้างสรรค์ ที่มีการสอดแทรกและเชื่อมโยงแนวความคิด รูปแบบ รูปทรง ความหมายทางสี สัญลักษณ์ และสัญญะในงานทัศนศิลป์ นอกจากนี้งานในวิจัยได้นำทฤษฎีด้านความรัก ทฤษฎีจิตวิทยา ทฤษฎีวิทยาศาสตร์ และ ด้านศิลปะ มาใช้การในการศึกษา ผลของการศึกษาข้อมูลและทดลองสร้างสรรค์สรุปได้ว่าการตกหลุมรักจะเกิดขึ้นจาก การรับรู้ แบ่งได้เป็น 2 ประเภท ได้แก่ 1) การรับรู้ทางกายภาพ คือ สายตา ที่เป็นอวัยวะอันสำคัญที่สุด เพราะการมองเห็นทำให้ อาจนำไปสู่ความชอบ และ เกิดการตกหลุมรัก 2) การรับรู้ทางอารมณ์ คือ ความรู้สึกที่สนองตอบรับให้เกิดอารมณ์ภายใต้ความคิด ทั้งนี้ แนวทางการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานจิตกรรม ที่ผู้วิจัยสนใจนำเสนอ จึงมีลักษณะรูปแบบของ ศิลปะลัทธิจุลนิยม (Minimalism) ที่ สามารถเข้าใจได้ง่าย ไม่ซับซ้อนในเชิงองค์ประกอบ แต่มีการตีความหมายจากสัญลักษณ์ และความสนใจชุดสีของ ลัทธิประชานิยม (Pop Art) ที่มีสีสันสดใส ตีความหมายเหตุผลผ่านงานจิตรกรรม เกิดเป็นชุดผลงานจิตรกรรม 4 ชุด ได้แก่ 1) ระยะที่ 1 เน้นการใช้วัสดุ 2) ระยะที่ 2 เน้นการวาดข้าวของเครื่องใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน 3) ระยะที่ 3 เน้นการใช้สีเปรียบเทียบความรู้สึก 4) ระยะที่ 4 ศิลปะนิพนธ์ เน้นการใช้สีชมพูและการใช้รูปทรงหัวใจ ซึ่งในผลงานชุดที่ 4 สามารถตอบโจทย์ได้ดีที่สุด เมื่อเทียบกับ 3 ระยะก่อนหน้า

การสุกของผลิตผลทางการเกษตรเกิดขึ้นได้จากหลายปัจจัยเช่น ปัจจัยเชิงกายภาพ ปัจจัยเชิงชีวภาพ และปัจจัยเชิงเคมี โดยการผลิตและปลดปล่อยเอทิลีนถือเป็นปัจจัยทางเคมีที่ความสำคัญที่ทำให้ผลิตผลทางการเกษตรเกิดการสุก โดยเฉพาะในกลุ่มของผลไม้ที่บ่มให้สุกได้ การปลดปล่อยเอทิลีนในระดับที่มากขึ้นจะเร่งให้เกิดการสุก นำไปสู่การสูญเสียน้ำ คุณค่าทางโภชนาการ และทำให้เกิดการเจริญเติบโตของจุลินทรีย์นำไปสู่การเน่าเสียของผลิตผลทางการเกษตรในที่สุด การวิจัยในครั้งนี้จึงมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อที่จะสังเคราะห์ ศึกษาสมบัติในการกำจัดเอทิลีน รวมถึงสมบัติด้านอื่น ๆ ของกระดาษที่ผ่านการเคลือบด้วยสารเคลือบฐานน้ำที่มีซีโอไลต์ ไทเทเนียมไดออกไซด์ และวัสดุเชิงประกอบซีโอไลต์-ไทเทเนียมไดออกไซด์เป็นองค์ประกอบที่ความเข้มข้นต่าง ๆ (ร้อยละ 5 10 และ 15 โดยน้ำหนักต่อปริมาตร) ผลการวิจัยพบว่ากระดาษที่เคลือบด้วยสารเคลือบที่มีวัสดุเชิงประกอบซีโอไลต์-ไทเทเนียมไดออกไซด์จะมีประสิทธิภาพที่สูงกว่าทั้งในด้านของการดูดซับและกำจัดเอทิลีน โดยสามารถลดระดับเอทิลีนได้มากถึงร้อยละ 85.46 เมื่อเทียบกับกระดาษที่มีสารเคลือบซีโอไลต์ (ร้อยละ 65.96) ไทเทเนียมไดออกไซด์ (ร้อยละ 59.59) และกระดาษคราฟท์ที่ไม่ผ่านการเคลือบสารเคลือบ (ร้อยละ 27.89) และเมื่อนำไปทดสอบกับผลิตผลทางการเกษตรจริงคือ มะเขือเทศราชินี พบว่ากระดาษที่มีสารเคลือบซีโอไลต์-ไทเทเนียมไดออกไซด์ที่ความเข้มข้นร้อยละ 15 โดยน้ำหนักต่อปริมาตร จะมีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุดในการดูดซับและกำจัดเอทิลีนทำให้มะเขือเทศราชินีที่บรรจุในบรรจุภัณฑ์มีการสุกช้าที่สุดโดยดูได้จากผลการทดสอบการเปลี่ยนแปลงสี ความแน่นเนื้อ และร้อยละของน้ำหนักที่หายไปซึ่งมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงน้อยที่สุดเมื่อเทียบกับกรณีอื่น ๆ นอกจากนี้กระดาษเคลือบยังมีสมบัติการต้านทานการขัดถูหรือการเสียดสีได้อย่างดีเยี่ยม โดยไม่พบความแตกต่างที่สามารถสังเกตเห็นได้ด้วยตาเปล่าหลังจากการขัดถู 1,000 ครั้ง สุดท้ายผลการวิจัยแสดงให้ถึงประสิทธิภาพของสารเคลือบในการประยุกต์ใช้เป็นสารเคลือบสำหรับบรรจุภัณฑ์แบบแอกทีฟ สำหรับการบรรจุผลิตผลทางการเกษตรเพื่อช่วยในการรักษาคุณภาพและยืดอายุในการเก็บรักษาให้นานยิ่งขึ้น

This thesis examines the information sources chosen by secondary school English teachers for lesson planning, alongside their information awareness and the constraints encountered. A lesson plan acts as a teacher's guide, detailing student learning objectives, associated resources and activities, and ensuring compliance with local and national curricula. This qualitative research employed semi-structured interviews with 15 English teachers from secondary schools in Batam City, Indonesia, using the Zoom platform. แนวคิดเกี่ยวกับพระพุทธเจ้ามีการปรับเปลี่ยนจากประเพณีพุทธศาสนาเดิมในยุคของธรรมยุติกนิกาย วิทยานิพนธ์นี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการนำเสนอพระพุทธเจ้าและวิเคราะห์พัฒนาการ โดยศึกษาจากวรรณกรรมของคณะธรรมยุติกนิกายพ.ศ. 2368 - 2455 ผลการศึกษาพบว่า การนำเสนอพระพุทธเจ้าทั้งพระพุทธคุณและพุทธประวัติเป็นวรรณกรรมภาษาไทยที่ยังคงขนบการนำเสนอตามประเพณีพุทธศาสนา รูปแบบมีทั้งร้อยแก้วและร้อยกรอง แต่คัดสรรเนื้อหาที่นำเสนอ ยึดหลักเหตุผล วิเคราะห์วิพากษ์ด้วยมุมมองของผู้เขียน เน้นพระปัญญาของพระพุทธเจ้าเป็นพิเศษ ส่วนสำคัญที่แตกต่างจากประเพณี คือ วรรณกรรมช่วยสร้างความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับพระพุทธเจ้าใหม่ คือทรงเป็นมนุษย์ธรรมดาทั้งขนาดพระวรกาย พุทธลักษณะ ประวัติความเป็นมา ยึดข้อมูลจากพระไตรปิฎกเป็นหลักในการศึกษาอย่างมีวิจารณญาณ ในขณะเดียวกันก็มีการอ้างถึงพระพุทธเจ้าในบทสวดของพิธีสงฆ์และพิธีกรรมอื่น ๆ นอกพุทธศาสนาให้ถูกตรงตามหลักการพุทธศาสนา แสดงให้เห็นถึงการปรับเปลี่ยนแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับพระพุทธเจ้าในวัฒนธรรมไทยให้เหมาะสม และสอดคล้องกับวิทยาศาสตร์ที่กำลังเข้ามามีอิทธิพลต่อสังคมไทยในยุคนั้น
