This article explores a state of movement in the humanities into nonhuman entanglements. A key term, “resonance,” emerges in this movement. Predominating scholarship orients resonance as a flourishing. In this article, accounts of the destructiveness of mechanical resonance signal a telling lacuna in humanities scholarship, one this article works to remove.

While contemporary world literature theories encourage the global circulation of national literatures, the full potential of the term “world”in world literature, as argued by Cheah (2016), remains underemphasized. Normative forces such as teleological time and worlding influence how national literatures are received globally. This paper argues that MR Kukrit Pramoj’s Four Reigns (1981) offers an alternative reading through Cheah’s (2016) concept of world literature, positioning the novel as a contestation of European teleological time. As the novel transcends its geographical and cultural origins, the transformative potential of translation reshapes the normative forces influencing its global reception. สารนิพนธ์ฉบับนี้จัดทำขึ้นเพื่อศึกษาและหาแนวทางในการแปลคำศัพท์เฉพาะด้านภาพยนตร์ในหนังสือเรื่อง Cinematography: Theory and Practice For Cinematographers and Directors, Third Edition ของ Blain Brown ผู้วิจัยคัดเลือกคำศัพท์ทั้งสิ้น 30 คำ โดยมีสมมติฐานของการวิจัยว่า ในการแปลศัพท์เฉพาะด้านภาพยนตร์ให้สามารถถ่ายทอดความหมายได้ถูกต้องและเหมาะสมนั้น จะต้องใช้กลวิธีการแปลทั้งหมดสองวิธี ได้แก่ 1) แปลแบบตีความโดยใช้คำที่มีอยู่แล้วในภาษาปลายทางและใช้แนวทางบัญญัติศัพท์โดยวิธีทาบเทียบ (Mapping-Matching) ตามแนวทางของสมศีล ฌานวังศะ (ม.ป.ป.) และ 2) แปลแบบถ่ายเสียงพร้อมเติมคำอธิบายสั้น ๆ และใช้แนวทางบัญญัติศัพท์โดยวิธียืมตรง (Direct Borrowing) ตามแนวทางของสมศีล ฌานวังศะ ผลการวิจัยแสดงให้เห็นว่ากลวิธีการแปลเป็นไปตามสมมติฐานคือ (1) แปลแบบตีความโดยใช้คำที่มีอยู่แล้วในภาษาปลายทางและใช้แนวทางบัญญัติศัพท์โดยวิธีทาบเทียบ (Mapping-Matching) ตามแนวทางของสมศีล ฌานวังศะ (ร้อยละ 73.3) และ (2) แปลแบบถ่ายเสียงพร้อมเติมคำอธิบายสั้น ๆ และใช้แนวทางบัญญัติศัพท์โดยวิธียืมตรง (Direct Borrowing) ตามแนวทางของสมศีล ฌานวังศะ (ร้อยละ 26.7) ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับกลวิธีการแปลศัพท์เฉพาะในงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง ได้แก่ งานวิจัยของ วิภาดา เปรมวุฒิ (2533) โอซ่า มาร์คลุนด์ (2011) และทรงวุฒิ บุริมจิตต์ (2550) คือมีการใช้กลวิธีการแปลแบบตรงตัวและแบบไม่ตรงตัว และไม่พบกลวิธีการแปลโดยการแทนที่แนวคิดทางวัฒนธรรมในสังคมของผู้อ่านภาษาปลายทาง

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้นักแสดงใช้เครื่องมือของนักแสดง ด้านทักษะจินตนาการ การใช้สมาธิ และการใช้ร่างกาย ในการฝึกการแสดงเพื่อให้เกิดความสมจริงและน่าเชื่อถือในแต่ละตัวละคร โดยบทละครเวทีการแสดงเดี่ยวเรื่อง “นอนไม่หลับ” ของนิกร แซ่ตั้ง นักแสดงต้องสามารถแสดงเป็นตัวละครหลายบทบาท หลายสถานการณ์ และต้องสื่อสารกับผู้ชมอีกด้วย การวิจัยนี้ใช้กระบวนการฝึกทักษะการแสดงและสังเคราะห์จากแนวคิดของนักทฤษฎีการละครที่มีความสำคัญ จากทั้ง คอนสแตนติน สตานิสลาฟกี้ (Constantin Stanislavski)สเตลล่า แอดเลอร์ (Stella Adler) ไมเคิล เชคคอฟ (Michael Chekchov) ทั้งนี้การวิจัยได้ศึกษาและวิเคราะห์ผลจากการฝึกซ้อมเพื่อหาความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างทฤษฎีและการปฏิบัติจากกระบวนการฝีก บันทึกวิดีทัศน์ และการฝึกซ้อมการแสดงร่วมกับผู้กำกับการแสดง ประเมินการแสดงจากอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา รวบรวมผลการประเมินจากการนำเสนอผลงานของผู้วิจัย เก็บข้อมูลแบบสอบถามจากผู้ชม และเสวนาพูดคุยแลกเปลี่ยนจากผู้ทรงวุฒิหลังจบการแสดงของผู้วิจัย ผลการศึกษาพบว่า การฝึกการปฏิบัติด้วยแนวทางการฝึกจินตนาการ สมาธิ ร่างกาย ที่มีความสม่ำเสมอและต่อเนื่องจะช่วยทำให้นักแสดงเชื่อในสถานการณ์ของตัวละครได้ และมีความกังวลที่ลดลง และมีความอิสระเป็นตัวละครมากยิ่งขึ้นขณะแสดง

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษากลวิธีการเขียนบทละครเวทีสำหรับเยาวชนช่วงวัยรุ่น อายุ 12-15 ปี โดยมุ่งเน้นการส่งเสริมการยอมรับตนเองและความมั่นใจของวัยรุ่นผ่านบทละครเวที ผ่านการทบทวนวรรณกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องใน 5 ประเด็นหลัก ได้แก่ การเขียนบทละครตามแบบฉบับ, แนวทางการเขียนบทละครสำหรับเยาวชน, เกมออนไลน์, พัฒนาการของวัยรุ่นตอนต้น, และการทำงานร่วมกับเยาวชนในโครงการแก่นอีสานวัฒน์ เพื่อค้นหาสาระสำคัญที่เชื่อมโยงกับกลุ่มเป้าหมาย จากนั้นผู้วิจัยได้พัฒนาบทละครร่าง "ไอ้หัวกล่อง" ร่วมกับผู้กำกับและนักแสดงจนได้บทละครที่ใช้สำหรับการทดลองอ่านในกลุ่มเยาวชนในพื้นที่จังหวัดขอนแก่น ผลการศึกษาพบว่า บทละครสามารถสื่อสารประเด็นการยอมรับตนเองและการเห็นคุณค่าในตนเองได้ แต่ยังจำเป็นต้องพัฒนาบทให้มีความสมบูรณ์มากขึ้น โดยเฉพาะเรื่องย่อที่เป็นส่วนสำคัญของการกำหนดทิศทางเรื่อง แม้ว่าบทละครในขั้นตอนนี้จะยังไม่สมบูรณ์ แต่การทดลองอ่านและรับฟังความคิดเห็นจากเยาวชนช่วยให้ผู้วิจัยสามารถเข้าใจถึงความต้องการของกลุ่มเป้าหมายและปรับปรุงบทละครได้ดียิ่งขึ้น นอกจากนี้ยังพบว่า บทละครสามารถพัฒนาเป็นเครื่องมือในการทำงานร่วมกับเยาวชนในฐานะฟาซิลิเตเตอร์ (Facilitator) โดยให้เยาวชนมีส่วนร่วมในการเขียนบทและกระบวนการฝึกทำละคร ซึ่งช่วยให้พวกเขาได้เรียนรู้การยอมรับตนเองและสร้างความมั่นใจในตนเองจากการฝึกฝนทำละคร

This thesis highlights young adults’ assumptions that social performance and certain cultural proficiencies validate one’s Blackness. I discuss cultural expressions and differences and social behaviors and why such markers and differences are insufficient to define and authenticate Black identity. I posit that the primary determinant of Blackness is a matter of biology and a shared historical context. I begin by reviewing historical and contemporary perspectives on the racial identity of African Americans and Black Africans across various eras in the United States. This study explored the microaggressions and microaffirmations that transgender college students experienced on their campus. The study looked at the impact those experiences had on transgender student perspectives regarding inclusivity on campus. With the population of out college age trans* students growing there is a need to look at the importance of inclusive practices in colligate environments. This narrative approach takes the stories of two trans* college students and interprets their experiences with themes of misgendering, university action, university community, and signs of support. This research centers on the improvement of early childhood education environments in hopes to reduce the disparities in outcomes among children aged 2-6, widely known as "the achievement gap." It sheds light on designing an inclusive, child-centered school for students with specific learning disabilities (SLD) and speech or language impairments (SLI). Moonshine Babies is a two-screen film made of collage/cut-out stop-motion and live-action. It is a visual poem based on my journals from when I recently started living in the US as an outsider. The experience left me feeling divided between the empty present and memories of the past. suggesting that there are collective memories among a group of interconnected individuals that unite them within a single narrative.
