Development Of Model Vaccination Initiative In Detroit, Muhammad Tarar

The distribution of vaccines to Detroit residents faced significant challenges during the COVID-19 health crisis. Vaccine distribution was slow, ineffective, and resulted in significant disparities in vaccine coverage among various racial and ethnic populations. This study examines existing data barriers to vaccination efforts in the United States, including common factors associated with vaccine hesitancy and attempts to identify factors that impact racial and ethnic disparities in vaccine coverage. Finally, this study examines successful vaccination initiatives from other cities in the United States to discuss a model vaccination initiative in Detroit.

Synchronicity: An Analysis Of Einstein's Halfway Rule, Preslava Nikolova

For the modern world to function, Global Positioning System satellites must synchronize to clocks on Earth. This paper examines a concept that underlies GPS systems, namely Albert Einstein’s halfway rule—the idea that a line of simultaneity exists between two events in different systems. This essay discusses how Einstein used conventionalist methods to establish ½ as a constant value for σ to take advantage of the property of symmetry.

Determining Jury Impartiality In The Malice Green Murder Cases, Marco Cardamone

Detroit Police Department officers Walter Budzyn and Larry Nevers beat Black resident Malice Green to death in November 1992 and were convicted of second-degree murder, however, their convictions were overturned by appellate courts on the basis that the jury was influenced by outside sources. Race played a critical factor in the trials and public opinion as both officers were White and the judge, juries, and prosecutors were Black. While the evidence of the case suggests a wrongful death, public opinion in Detroit and exposure to media compromised the juries’ impartiality.

When Communities Fall: A Critical Analysis Of Toni Morrison's Sula, Sami Saigh
Rushton Journal of Undergraduate Humanities Research
When women dare to self-actualize they frequently face barriers that tear their spirits down, leading to guilt, shame, and feelings of inadequacy. For the lineage of women in Toni Morrison’s Sula, these consequences are fatal for everyone. As these factors thwart fundamental social development, communal collapse becomes easier, leaving entire cultures vulnerable to erasure. Whether self-determination is expressed through promiscuity or properness, paradoxical moralism leaves no room for either. This essay explores how Morrison offers a retrospective look from the graveyard of a town while illustrating the impact of the loss of friends, lovers, and communities.

The fashion industry is going through a major transformation with the advent of digital technologies. This study presents a comparison of the traditional and digital methods of making swimwear patterns using Adobe Illustrator. The study aims to identify the benefits and challenges of using Adobe Illustrator as a digital tool for patternmaking. The study compares traditional and digital methods’ efficiency, accuracy, and sustainability by studying and applying the basic principles of drafting swimwear patterns. The results show that digital methods using Adobe Illustrator can significantly reduce production time, increase pattern-making accuracy, and improve the sustainability of the production process. هدف المقال التعرف إلى دور جامعة الأقصى في تحقيق المواطنة الرقمية لدى طلبتها في ظل تنامي التواصل الرقمي. استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، وطريقة المسح حيث تم تطبيق البحث على عينة قوامها (377) طالبًا وطالبة في جامعة الأقصى. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج، من أهمها: يستخدم معظم الطلبة تكنولوجيا التواصل الرقمي كثيراً، وطوال الأسبوع، ولزمن يزيد على أربع ساعات. وتقوم الجامعة بدور متوسط في تحقيق المواطنة الرقمية لدى طلبتها. وتوجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط تقديرات الطلبة تبعاً لمتغير النوع في مجالي الاحترام والتعليم، لصالح الطلاب. وتوجد فروق أيضاُ تبعاً لمتغير المستوى الدراسي، في مجال التعليم، لصالح المستويين الأخيرين. وتوجد فروق …

هدف المقال إلى مقارنة استخدام استراتيجية التعلم التعاوني واستراتيجية حل المشكلات في إتقان بعض المهارات الأساسية في لعبة الريشة الطائرة، واستخدم الباحث المنهج التجريبي لمجموعتين الأولى تجريبية استخدمت استراتيجية التعلم التعاوني وعددها(30) طالباً، والثانية تجريبية استخدمت استراتيجية حل المشكلات وعددها(30) طالباً، والمجموعتان من الطلبة المسجلين في مساق العاب المضرب في كلية التربية الرياضية في جامعة اليرموك للفصل الدراسي الثاني(2021/2022)، ولجمع البيانات قام الباحث بتشكيل لجنة من خبراء لعبة الريشة الطائرة لتقييم أداء المجموعتين وفق معايير محددة بعد الانتهاء من البرنامج التعليمي، الذي استمر لثمانية أسابيع، وبعد تحليل النتائج باستخدام اختبار (t-test) للعينات المستقلة أظهرت النتائج ، ان استراتيجية التعلم التعاوني …
