Western conceptualizations of time and space are common topics to be queried within the field of Indigenous literary study. However, while the focus has been laid on temporal and spatial literary conventions, too little attention has been drawn to the conceptualization and norms around an identity forming element: knowledge. This paper is particularly suspicious of Western conceptualizations of “places for knowledge,” as this has very real consequences for how we understand and treat ourselves and others. “Impact Of Service Quality On Tourists’ Satisfaction In Agri Tourism Destinations In Kerala”, Dr Deepthi P V

Abstract

This study identified key determinants of agri tourism for the assessment of perceived service quality, regression analysis used to examine the impact of service quality dimensions on customer satisfaction. Utilizing a self-administered questionnaire and judgemental sampling technique, 100 responses from both domestic and foreign tourists were collected and analysed. The factor analysis identified seven indicators of quality of services, those are products and services, price (price worthiness), place (accessibility), promotion, people (service personnel), physical evidence (ambience) and process (customer services). The results of regression study showed that these variables have favourable effect on customer satisfaction, and that perceived service …

The Universal And The Unique, Martin Zwick

Complex Systems Faculty Publications and Presentations

This paper explores the abstract dyad of universality and uniqueness. It notes that the two might be complementary and even synergistic, or that they might be alternatives that oppose one another. It also explores how the unique might be an emergent from a primal universality, as well as how the universal might be an emergent from a primal uniqueness. Finally, it offers an interpretation of this dyad in which the universal and the unique are equivalent transforms of one another and thus two sides of the same coin.

Journal of International Women's Studies

The study aims to identify the forms of violence against women and girls with disabilities and their relationship to psychological well-being. The study used a descriptive approach with a correlational study design. We selected the study sample using stratified random sampling, which included 220 girls and women with physical and sensory disabilities aged 14 to 30 years from primary and secondary schools as well as universities in the Ajloun region of northern Jordan. Predictors Of Wellbeing For Women With Disabilities In The United Arab Emirates, Tatiana Karabchuk, Osman Antwi-Boateng

Journal of International Women's Studies

Women with disabilities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) face unique challenges due to traditional gender roles and societal expectations. Despite these challenges, recent social policies in the UAE aimed at supporting people with disabilities have significantly improved their life satisfaction. This study explores the determinants of happiness for women with disabilities compared disabled men using data from the 2017 National Survey for Happiness and Positivity. Contrary to expectations, women with disabilities in the UAE have highest happiness scores compared to women without disabilities and men with/without disabilities.
