Senior Art Portfolios

Dolce Vita Limoncello is a fictional hard Italian liqueur brand I created consisting of three different liqueur flavors—limecello, citruscello, and limoncello. Dolce Vita, which translates to “sweet life” in English, includes three unique bottle designs, merchandise, and promotional advertisements to establish the brand. The brand’s bright colors are inspired by colors found in Italian packaging and design. This project was influenced by my time spent abroad in Italy, where I photographed various Italian designs and landscapes that became a key source of inspiration.

This study focuses on Jālāl-al-Dīn Muḥammad Davānī (1426–1502) as an illustrative figure in Muslim political thought, who offered a comprehensive perspective on the characteristics of an ideal Muslim state. Drawing on Davānī’s magnum opus, Akhlaq-e-Jalālī, the study explores his ethical framework for understanding the interrelationship between the individual, the state, and society. This work remained among the most influential writings on Muslim ethics, particularly in the Indian context, and continued to shape Muslim intellectual discourseand educational curricula well into the late 20th century. Its enduring presence highlights its intellectual relevance and its capacity to inspire ongoing debates on Muslim ethics.This …

I viewed how misogyny takes place varying from condescending questions to sexual harassment at conventions. In recent years, the U.S. Department of Agriculture has faced renewed scrutiny for documented discrimination against Black farmers, yet far less attention has focused on its century-old partner in public service delivery, the Cooperative Extension Service (CES). This gap is especially notable considering 1) federal parity mandates extant since 1972 in response to significant disparities between Black and White constituents and staff,2) public commitments to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in 2020 and, 3) the contributions of Black leaders at the origins of CES, at Tuskegee University in the late nineteenth century. This article responds to the question, “What is eighteenth-century fiction?” with a focus on Chinese fiction. It begins with an overview of eighteenth-century Chinese fiction and a deeper reading of the explicit metafictionality of China’s most famous eighteenth-century novel, Story of the Stone (also known as Dream of the Red Chamber). Then it critically interrogates the assumed equivalency between the English term fiction and the Chinese term xiaoshuo through a historical overview of the unequal literary and linguistic engagements between Europe and China. [Method/process]This paper mainly focuses on the data of CNKI journal articles, selects the general Chinese large language model GLM-4, uses prompt engineering and chain of thought to extract and cluster the abstract data, of papers and analyzes its evolution trend through quantitative processing.
