تناولت الدراسة جملة من الاجتهادات القضائية في تفسير الألفاظ المشكلة في بعض الدعاوى في قانون الأحوال الشخصية الأردنية، واستعرضت صور الإشكال الواقعة في الألفاظ والأحكام وكيفية الاجتهاد للوصول إلى مقصود المشرع من خلال الوقوف على الوصف المؤثر عبر مسلك تخريج المناط وتنقيحه، ومن ثم ربط الحكم به تحقيقا في الواقعة المنظورة.

هدفت الدراسة إلى استقراء وتحليل الأفكار الاقتصادية عند الإمام العزّ بن عبد السلام المتعلقة بالنشاط الإنتاجي. وتمثلت مشكلة الدراسة في بيان إسهام الإمام العز بن عبد السلام في بناء الفكر الاقتصادي الإسلامي من خلال بيان فكره المتعلق بالإنتاج.

واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الاستقرائي لتتبع أفكار الإمام العز الخاصة بالإنتاج، ثم المنهج التحليلي، وصولا إلى استنباط الأفكار ذات الصلة بموضوع البحث.

هدفت الدراسة إلى استنباط المضامين التربوية من نماذج النصوص الشرعية المتعلقة بفضل النوافل بشكل عام، ونوافل الصلوات، ونوافل الصيام، نوافل الحج والعمرة والصدقة، بعد تفسيرها وتحليلها، مع اتباع المنهج الاستقرائي والوصفي.

وخلصت إلى نتيجة مفادها: أن النوافل تكمل الفرائض وتسد النقص الذي قد يحصل فيها، فهي تربية لشخصية الفرد من جميع جوانبها- الدينية والنفسية والجسدية والاجتماعية والسلوكية-.

وأوصت المؤسسات التربوية: ببناء منهج تربوي إسلامي أصيل في المؤسسات التعليمية يراعى فيه كيفية استخراج المضامين التربوية من الآيات الكريمة والأحاديث الشريفة، والاستفادة منها، لحث الأفراد على الالتزام بشرع الله؛ لما فيها من فوائد تربوية تعود على الفرد والمجتمع.

هدفت هذه الدراسة الموسومة بـ"حوار مخلوقات الله في سورة النمل: دراسة تحليلية قرآنية" إلى الوقوف على أنماط الحوار القرآني المتمثلة في حوار سليمان u مع مخلوقات الله جميعها من الإنس والجن والطير. وقد حُللت هذه الحوارات، وعرضت بعض التفسيرات القرآنية المتضمنة جملة من الملامح الدلالية الواردة فيها، لاسيما التنوع الأسلوبي في مستويات الحوارات. وعرّجت الدراسة على الدروس الإنسانية المستفادة منها والتي تشير إلى أساليب الدعوة إلى الله بالعقل والحكمة والحوار.

To tell the stories of the nation’s Black Catholic sisters—accurately and honestly—I had to tackle four core myths about the U.S. Catholic experience that have been popularized and wielded to obscure the leading roles that European and white American Catholics played in the social, political, and cultural propagation of white supremacy in the church and wider society. Science education in the nineteenth-century Philippines has been portrayed as highly deficient, yet pockets of respectable scientific education existed. The Escuela Náutica de Manila, which opened in 1820, offered such an education. This article narrates its establishment and discusses its changing curricular offerings in relation to empire-wide initiatives and constraints internal to the Philippines. Its quality of scientific education can be glimpsed from reports related to three episodes: the earthquake in 1863; the planned closure of the school in the late 1880s; and the advent of American colonial rule in the early 1900s. This thesis is a look into women’s authorship in the English Early Modern period, specifically looking at the time period from 1543 until 1621. The main writers of focus are Catherine Parr, Mary Sidney, Lady Mary Wroth, and Aemilia Lanyer, with supplemental texts from the period used to frame the thesis argument. Modern research on this era is also used to supplement the work. This project considers two Colombian tribes: Wayuu and Okaina. It emphasizes these tribes’ ancestry, history, purpose, and traditions, with the objective of giving them a voice in a community where they are underrepresented and unknown. Fundamentally pregnant bodies are understood, similarly to women’s bodies, as necessitating discipline. However, new networked forums have emerged where pregnancy is understood as affirming and having the capacity to challenge a silenced subject position. Using three case studies, the #IHadAMiscarriage Instagram page, the #TakeBackPostpartum Instagram page, and mediatized discourses surrounding Kylie Jenner’s pregnancy, this dissertation writes intimate publicity into these mediatized transgressions of pregnancy and postpartum. I argue discourses about pregnancy and postpartum in these networked spaces constitute intimate publics through the cultivation of shared affected investments and divestments in embodied experiences. The purpose of this thesis is to synthesize research of experiential learning for adult Spanish learners in higher education to identify important takeaways and propose draft curriculum to improve acquisition for learners through experience-based and hands-on practices. Hopefully, this will aid in understanding, identify gaps in existing research, and better inform lesson-planning for instructors. My research does not include any comparison to other languages or other levels of education. I approach the issue through exploratory and descriptive research through open-source data retrieval by information obtained from governmental and nongovernmental resources.

This study examines Nebraska Department of Corrections inmate data from 1980-2020, looking specifically at inmate demographics and offense trends. State-of-the-art data analysis is conducted to collect, modify, and visualize the data sources. Inmates are organized by each decade they were incarcerated within. The current active prison population is also examined in their own research group. The demographic and offense trends are compared with previous local and national research. Historical context is given for evolving trends in offenses. Solutions for Nebraska prison overcrowding are presented from various interest groups. After the period of political conflict in Aceh, women participation in the public sphere as a legislator is shown to be increasing in quantity.
