Background/purpose Over the past decade, numerous efforts have been made to develop guidelines for endodontic education; however, there has been no corresponding reform of the assessment scale. This study aimed to adopt an integrative approach to develop a checklist that summarizes the guidelines into key points for evaluating root canal treatment performance. Background/purpose This ex vivo study aimed to evaluate the perforation of Schneiderian membrane upon the advancement of drills incrementally in 1 mm passing through the sinus during the implant site osteotomy with two different drill types and techniques. Materials and methods Fifty goat heads with 50 pairs of sinuses were assigned to two groups: osseodensification drill (OD) and inverse conical shape drill (ICSD) to simulate transcrestal sinus elevation. While Taiwan has achieved near-universal coverage for most medical services, domiciliary dental care (DDC) for people with mobility limitations remains poorly integrated into the UHC framework. This study assessed DDC coverage in Taiwan using the World Health Organization UHC framework. Autotransplantation (AT) is a promising alternative for restoring failed teeth. However, the success rate varies due to technique sensitivity and absence of standardized protocol. We present the first documented AT protocol utilizing a dynamic navigation system, including three core innovations: (1) navigation-guided socket preparation, (2) extra-alveolar retrograde filling, and (3) digital lingual stent fixation with flowable resin. The purpose of this study was to compare the scientometric characteristics of RMS publications by pediatricians and stomatologists. Materials and methods All the papers on RMS were comprehensively retrieved from the Scopus database, and divided into pediatricians and stomatologists groups. Results There were 2211 and 234 papers on RMS were published by rheumatologists and stomatologists, respectively. The purpose of this study was to analyze the scientometric characteristics and research trends of salivary MEC. The years of publication were divided into before 2014 and Jan 2014–Jun 2025 in the analysis of research trends. Background/purpose: Our previous study found that 144 of 588 oral lichen planus (OLP) patients have thyroglobulin antibody (TGA) and/or thyroid microsomal antibodies (TMA) but do not have gastric parietal cell antibody (GPCA, designated as thyroid autoantibodies-positive OLP or TA⁺OLP patients). Background/purpose: Periodontitis leads to tissue destruction and functional impairment, but the interplay between microbiota, clinical parameters, and biomechanics remains unclear. This study aimed to quantitatively correlate specific oral microbial signatures and clinical inflammatory indicators with bite force in patients with periodontitis.

Materials and methods: Fifteen patients with stage III-IV periodontitis and 15 periodontally healthy controls were recruited. Clinical parameters (Probing Depth, Clinical Attachment Loss, Bleeding on Probing, Plaque Index) and MBF (pressure-sensitive film) were recorded. Supragingival plaque was analyzed through 16S rRNA gene sequencing (PacBio SMRT) to determine microbial composition. Correlation analyses were performed.

The effectiveness of supervised machine learning models is heavily influenced by the quality of training data, which is often shaped by human annotators. Subjective NLP tasks such as hate speech detection, toxicity identification, and sexism classification frequently exhibit annotator disagreement due to differences in individual perspectives. This study investigates annotator disagreement in sexism detection using English tweets from the EXIST 2023 competition. To systematically analyse disagreement, tweets are categorised based on annotator consensus levels, examining how annotator demographics and linguistic features contribute to labelling inconsistencies. This Note examines jurisdiction over state torts that arise during a bankruptcy proceeding. Recently, the Ninth Circuit permitted a collateral attack on a state court judgment regarding malicious prosecution in Cogan v. Trabucco. The Ninth Circuit held that federal courts have exclusive jurisdiction over malicious prosecution actions and that abuse of process state torts are completely preempted by federal law. This decision left the debtor without any redress and divested state courts of jurisdiction over cases under its own tort law.
