RISC-V is a free and open-standard ISA based on RISC principles, allowing anyone to design, manufacture, and sell RISC-V chips and software. Its flexibility and growing ecosystem have made it popular in research, education, and industry, increasing the need for educational materials. This paper provides an in-depth description of the RVfpga course, which offers a solid introduction to computer architecture using the RISC-V instruction set and FPGA technology. High-resolution air-temperature fields are essential for climate, hydrologic, and ecological applications in complex terrain, yet operational products often lack the spatial detail to resolve topographic effects. We develop an observation-driven reconstruction of daily air temperature fields for South Korea (2024) using ordinary kriging with lapse-rate correction (OKLR), integrating a dense network of over 500 stations from the Automatic Mountain Meteorology Observation System (AMOS) and the Automated Surface Observing System (ASOS). The OKLR framework systematically removes elevation-driven trends using a physically based fixed lapse rate (–6.5 °C km−1), performs kriging on detrended residuals, and reapplies Digital Elevation Model (DEM)-based corrections to …

Online civic engagement among young people may represent a form of positive youthdevelopment in digital spaces. However, its impacts on youth’s well-being remain unclear,partly due to a lack of validated measures that capture the unique features of the internetand incorporate youth voices. To address this gap, we developed and validated a scale ofmultidimensional online civic engagement for youth aged 15 to 25 years (MOCE-Y) using anexploratory sequential mixed-methods approach. BISNIS & BIROKRASI: Jurnal Ilmu Administrasi dan Organisasi

This study investigates the relationship between the Corruption Perception Index (CPI) and the Community Satisfaction Index (CSI) at Balai Litbang Agama (the Office of Religious Research and Development) of Semarang, with particular attention to gender differences. A total of 155 respondents participated in the survey. The statistical analysis reveals no significant gender differences in either corruption perception or public satisfaction. It also indicates a moderate positive correlation between transparency measures and public satisfaction, suggesting that improved governance practices enhance public trust. The development of photoelectrochemical (PEC) devices involves the attachment of molecular photosensitizers onto solid supports. Particularly significant to this work are PECs that rely on ruthenium-based photosensitizers on high band gap metal oxide (MOx) supports. In this study, we have explored a new ester binding motif (MOx-ester) to covalently attach a ruthenium polypyridyl photosensitizer to TiO₂. This new MOx-ester photoanode is compared to the traditional photoanodes that utilize acid/base binding groups to attach the molecular Ru sensitizers to TiO₂. Objective: The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of psychological resilience for well-being. While several reviews have addressed resilience in specific populations or contexts, few have synthesized global literature across diverse populations. This review examines psychological resilience across diverse populations, focusing on measurement, associated factors, and future public health preparedness strategies. This trend calls for a reexamination of how we understand and support students labeled “at-risk.” Traditional deficit-based models focus narrowly on challenges, often overlooking how students actively build resilience to navigate adversity. Background: Cardiac anesthesia has traditionally relied on large opioid doses to maintain hemodynamic stability and suppress sympathetic stimulation. Emerging evidence supports opioid-sparing strategies using dexmedetomidine, ketamine, lidocaine, and magnesium, which are associated with reduced postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV), faster extubation, shorter intensive care unit (ICU) stays, and decreased inotrope requirements. In the context of the opioid crisis, anesthesia providers are encouraged to reassess opioid-heavy techniques and adopt Enhanced Recovery After Cardiac Surgery (ERACS) protocols emphasizing multimodal care. This study examines the impact of ski tourism on Colorado’s retail marijuana (RMJ) sales, leveraging county-level sales data and ski resort characteristics. Using a two-way fixed effects model, we analyze seasonal variations in RMJ sales across counties with differing ski resort acreages. Our findings indicate that ski resort counties experience significant increases in RMJ sales during peak ski months (December–March), with the most prominent effects observed in counties with the largest ski resorts. The largest ski resort county– Summit County– sees an estimated seasonal increase of $4.35 million in RMJ sales. We estimate the isolated extra-state ski tourism effects and …

Perioperative anxiety is common among parturients undergoing cesarean section with neuraxial anesthesia. This issue has led to alterations in hemodynamics, length of stay, opioid consumption, and postoperative pain scores. It has been demonstrated that the anxiolytic, sedative, and analgesic effects of intravenous (IV) dexmedetomidine, as opposed to midazolam, can benefit parturients who are anxious during cesarean deliveries.
