This classroom action research focused on determining how the Padlet application could improve the eleventh-grade students' ability to write narrative text during the Ilmu Budaya dan Bahasa 2020/2021 academic year at MAN 1 Pasuruan. This application was chosen by the researcher to stimulate the students' interest and motivation in learning English. The researcher discovered that 36 (90%) of the students could achieve a passing grade. It proved improvements from the minimum standard of mastery criteria to the final test. Identifying the types of errors in class X AKL 1 SMKN 1 Pasuruan based on Newman in solving absolute value problems in terms of learning styles is the goal of this study. Research subjects were determined based on the results of questionnaires and problem-solving tests. One subject from each learning style was chosen if he answered the most and made a lot of mistakes in problem solving. Student answers errors were identified based on the Newman method. The purpose of this research and development is to produce STEM-based science teaching materials in creating PAIKEM to improve students' creative thinking skills in Theme 2 Sub-theme 1 Energy Sources. The method used in developing the product uses the ADDIE model. The results of product development research get a score of 86.38% in the very valid/feasible category to use. This study investigates the effect of Reading to Learn Pedagogy on the writing skill of Indonesian students and their perceptions of the usefulness of the pedagogy. A quasi-experimental study involved 32 seventh graders and 54 ninth graders and two teachers of Junior High School in Indonesia. They were assigned into two groups: experimental and control. The treatment was conducted at eight sessions, including the pre-test and post-test. This study aims to investigate the self-regulated strategy of early childhood teachers in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. A quantitative survey approach was used as a method in this study. The data collection involved 100 early childhood teachers in Indonesia with a focus on the analysis of six dimensions of self-regulated strategy (1) goal setting, (2) environment structuring, (3) task strategies, (4) time management, (5) help-seeking, and (6) self-evaluation. In fact, many career decisions on interests, needs, skills or personality always match the chosen work environment. This study aims to develop an application of career planning android-based that can assist students in determining their career direction. This research is included in the research and development of the borg and gall model. The career development model used is based on Holland's theory. The results of the effectiveness test get an average value of 3.60 from all variables with effective criteria.

It is estimated that 50-75% of postoperative patients feel they are not receiving adequate pain relief (Schneider, 2018). Both patients and nurses feel overwhelmed when pain is not well managed. Music therapy is safe, inexpensive, and has the potential to be easily incorporated into the nursing plan of care (Hole, Hirsch, Ball, & Meads, 2015). Forest disturbances—driven by pests, pathogens, and discrete events—have led to billions of dollars in lost ecosystem services and management costs. To understand the patterns and severity of these stressors across complex landscapes, there must be an increase in reliable data at scales compatible with management actions. Unmanned aerial systems (UAS or UAV) offer a capable platform for collecting local scale (e.g., individual tree) forestry data. We study some consequences of the loop quantization of the outermost dust shell in the LemaitreTolman-Bondi spacetime with a homogeneous dust density using different quantization strategies motivated by loop quantum gravity. Prior work has dealt with loop quantizing this model by employing holonomies and the triads, following the procedure in standard loop quantum cosmology. In this work we compare this quantization with the one in which holonomies and gauge-covariant fluxes are used. While both of the quantization schemes resolve the central singularity, they lead to different mass gaps at which a trapped surface forms. This trapped surface which is matched …

Hearing children of Deaf adults (CODAs) face many challenges including having difficulty learning spoken languages, experiencing social judgment, and encountering greater responsibilities at home. In this paper, we present a proposal for a smart display application called Let's Read that aims to support CODAs when learning spoken language. We conducted a qualitative analysis using online community content in English to develop the first version of the prototype. Then, we conducted a heuristic evaluation to improve the proposed prototype. Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems are pivotal for maintaining indoor comfort and air quality in buildings. However, inefficient HVAC operation can lead to unnecessary energy consumption and increased costs. This research explores the application of machine learning (ML) techniques for occupancy detection using environmental factors to optimize HVAC energy consumption. Analyzing a dataset comprising environmental observations like temperature, humidity, light, and CO2 levels alongside occupancy status, we evaluate various ML algorithms, including K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Support Vector Machines (SVM), and others, for accurately predicting room occupancy. This phenomenological study is guided by a feminist-informed critical theory for the purpose of exploring the experiences of nursing care for female Medicaid recipients. The goals of this research were to understand how nurses' attitudes and behaviors towards female Medicaid recipients influence the ways in which these patients receive and act upon their health care, and to consider what those understandings suggest for nursing education. Semi-structured interviews with female Medicaid recipients were conducted to understand their experiences of nursing care, and a focus group interview with nurse educators was conducted to consider what those understandings suggest for nursing education.

Cities have almost unlimited control over their police departments but lack almost any control over the civil litigation of their officers, aside from city attorneys representing them.
