This paper introduces Intent-Obfuscation Attacks, a class of semantic evasion techniques that exploit the gap between surface-level language compliance and the underlying objectives inferred by AI systems. Despite the critical role of dysphagia management in speech-language pathology education, limited research has examined how graduate-level curriculum design and learning experiences influence clinical preparedness and competency development. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between instructor characteristics, syllabus design features, and the inclusion of dysphagia management competencies in graduate speech-language pathology (SLP) dysphagia course syllabi across North Carolina (NC).

Method

Within the United States, current strategies aimed to prevent terrorism focus on terrorist organizations and international terrorism. The predominant literature on lone-wolf terrorism has focused mainly on quantitative data, and the qualitative studies that have been conducted do not uncover all factors that led to the individual committing the attack. This Doctor of Nursing Practice project focused on the development and evaluation of a clinical practice guideline (CPG) designed to improve compliance with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) SEP-1 sepsis bundle at a 300-bed Level III trauma center serving a rural population in West Virginia. Sepsis remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality nationwide, and rural hospitals face additional challenges related to delayed presentation, limited resources, and workflow variability. The VSSD is a research-supported online discussion model that can produce significant increases in student perceptions of social presence, learning, and satisfaction as compared to the traditional text-based, asynchronous, whole-group discussion model. In the VSSD, students lead the discussion experience by scheduling a synchronous, remote video meeting with their small group, they engage in the discussion topic for 30 to 45 minutes, then individually record a privte reflection video that is submitted to the instructor for evaluation and feedback.

This report presents key findings and recommendations based on a two-year qualitative study involving gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (GBMSM) who have crystal methamphetamine (meth) use experience. We explore barriers and enablers of engagement in social health programming and propose actionable strategies for fostering inclusion, safety, and retention. Our goal is to inform and support providers and stakeholders working with this population.

HDAC inhibition shows promise in cancer treatment but pan-HDAC inhibitors cause gastrointestinal issues in 48% of patients. Understanding HDAC activation mechanisms is crucial to treating diverse diseases beyond cancer. Our study reveals that inositol polyphosphate multikinase (IPMK) and inositol hexakisphosphate (InsP6 or phytic acid), enriched in vegan diets, play essential roles in activating the HDAC3 epigenetic axis and maintaining intestinal barrier integrity. IPMK binds to HDAC3 and drives InsP6 synthesis, which selectively activates HDAC3 at a 10 nM concentration by recruiting the DAD domain of its corepressor protein. IPMK deletion diminishes HDAC3 activation, leading to histone hyperacetylation and MMP gene …

This paper proposes an innovative tool designed to standardize the evaluation of validity and reliability studies in the rapidly evolving field of wearable technology. We introduce the WEArable Technology Risk of Bias and Objectivity Tool (WEAR-BOT), a tool that addresses the need for a comprehensive and systematic way to assess bias in studies examining consumer-grade and research-grade wearable devices. This is the first tool designed to evaluate the risk of bias in validation and reliability studies. This fact sheet presents data on the number of abortions provided annually in the Mountain West states of Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah between July 2022 and June 2025. The data are retrieved from the Society of Family Planning’s #WeCount report,  which includes data on abortion volume across all 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C. This fact sheet focuses on the administration of both in-person and telehealth abortions in the Mountain West.
