Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly used for documentation purposes in clinical practice, yet guidance for resident use is limited. Given the substantial documentation burden on medical trainees, AI-powered scribing tools may offer benefits, but their integration into residency training raises educational, supervisory, and patient safety considerations. This study aimed to assess the availability of resident-specific guidance on AI scribe use from major medical and specialty organizations and to summarize current evidence on AI scribes in residency. No-show and late appointment cancellations remain significant challenges in outpatient psychiatry clinics, negatively impacting continuity of care, clinic efficiency, and patient outcomes. Motivational interviewing (MI) and culturally responsive communication are evidence-based approaches that support patient engagement and understanding, yet they are not consistently incorporated into staff education related to appointment adherence. This project evaluates whether staff education on MI and culturally responsive communication increases staff knowledge and skills in educating patients about no-show and appointment cancellation policies and whether this education contributes to improved appointment attendance. Studies have shown that financial incentives are critical for sustaining teacher retention, but a gap in the literature exists as to what specific non-financial challenges may also be important in influencing teachers’ long-term commitment. Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) affects approximately 18 million individuals in India, yet the factors influencing parental care-seeking behavior were not well understood. Guided by the health belief model, the purpose of this basic qualitative study was to explore how parents’ perceived severity of a child’s symptoms, parental beliefs about the causes of autism, and perceived mental and physical health outcomes of caregiving influence parents’ intention to seek services for children aged 1–10 years diagnosed with ASD in India. Very little research has been conducted on the institution of community reintegration programs for individuals deemed not guilty by reason of insanity (NGRI). In the United States, each state can determine the path for community reentry with the NGRI population. California has a strategic and supportive reentry program that requires services such as drug testing, individual therapy, and close monitoring. Other states, including North Carolina, do not have a reentry program in place for the NGRI population. Digital transformation projects have a failure rate of 66% to 84%, costing U.S. companies billions of dollars each year. Organizational leaders need to understand the implications of these costly failures, leading to substantial financial losses. The purpose of this qualitative descriptive phenomenological study was to explore the reasons for digital transformation project failures from the perspective of the lived experiences of U.S. project managers. This study examines the relationship between ownership structure and corporate tax avoidance among Malaysian publicly listed firms, with particular emphasis on the moderating role of multinational corporation (MNC) status. Drawing on agency theory, the study investigates how three ownership types government ownership, managerial ownership, and institutional ownership influence firms’ tax avoidance behaviour. Using a quantitative research design, the study analyses panel data from 885 non-financial companies listed on Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market over the post-COVID-19 period from 2021 to 2023. Vigorous debate has erupted over the trustworthiness of scientific research findings in a number of domains. The question "what makes research findings trustworthy?" elicits different answers depending on whether the emphasis is on research integrity and ethics, research methods, transparency, inclusion, assessment and peer review, or scholarly communication. Each provides partial insight. We offer a systems approach that focuses on whether the research is accountable, evaluable, well-formulated, has been evaluated, controls for bias, reduces error, and whether the claims are warranted by the evidence. We tie each of these components to measurable indicators of trustworthiness for evaluating the research itself, …

Study objectives: GGIR is an R package for processing raw acceleration data to estimate sleep health parameters. We aimed to (1) assess the performance of three sleep algorithms within GGIR against PSG for detecting sleep/wake in clinically referred, typically-developing children (criterion validity); and (2) describe GGIR-derived sleep estimates from typically developing children enrolled in multiple cohort studies (face validity).

Methods: For criterion evaluation, children (8-16 years, N = 30) wore an actigraphy device for one night during in-lab polysomnography with performance assessed using epoch-by-epoch analyses. However, not all nurses are empowered to act as patient advocates. The COVID-19 pandemic significantly shaped alarming healthcare trends, including plummeting nurse engagement and retention along with skyrocketing reports of burnout. In response, a community hospital in Colorado launched the RESET (acronym for Resilience, Empathy and Support for Employees and Teams) pilot program to create customized individual, team and organization-wide interventions to foster optimal well-being of all staff. Recent studies convey a lack of work-life balance in nurse faculty (Boamah, 2022; Moyer, 2022). Work-life imbalance has been shown to increase anxiety, depression, and burnout, negatively impacting productivity as lines blur between work and home environment responsibilities (Farber et al., 2023). Clinicians who perceive workplace support for well-being tend to have better mental and physical health outcomes (Melnyk et al., 2021a; Melnyk, et al., 2021b). This study investigates the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) on financial performance of banks on the Ghana Stock Exchange from 2019-2023. The research used a descriptive approach and the panel data regression analysis to examine how social, environmental, and economic dimensions of CSR influence Return on Assets (ROA), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Return on Equity (ROE). Dermatomyositis is a rare autoimmune disease characterized by muscle weakness and distinctive skin rashes. Patients typically present with symmetric proximal muscle weakness alongside extramuscular manifestations, including interstitial lung disease and skin infections. While the exact cause remains unknown, researchers believe genetics, infections, and underlying autoimmune processes contribute to its development. The disease likely involves inappropriate complement protein activation targeting the perimysium, which triggers blood vessel inflammation and destruction around muscle fascicles. This process leads to ischemia and infarction of muscle tissue, ultimately causing muscle inflammation and atrophy. As AI systems increasingly filter information, evaluate options, and accelerate operational decision cycles, military advantage is shifting toward control of the “decision space” itself. AI-enabled decision support allows actors to shape operational environments, constrain adversary choices, and compress the time available for political or military response.
