The \emph{Basel problem} refers to the problem of determining a closed form for the infinite series $\frac{1}{1^2} + \frac{1}{2^2} + \cdots$. If we consider what mathematical results have the most peer-reviewed papers devoted to new ways of proving such results, Euler's formula $\frac{1}{1^2} + \frac{1}{2^2} + \cdots = \frac{\pi^2}{6}$ is certainly among the top of such results. This study aims to examine the impact of psychological capital on academic burnout among Islamic boarding school students, with religious coping and academic engagement as mediating variables. A quantitative research method with survey design was employed. The population consisted of 102 students at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah level, and a sample of 80 students was determined using the Krejcie and Morgan formula. In Tabulae astronomicae solis et lunae (Solar and lunar astronomical tables) (E87), published in 1746, Euler made a first attempt to correct his astronomical tables for the gravitational attraction of the Earth toward the Moon, simply by accounting for the difference between the position of the Earth and the center of gravity of the Earth-Moon system. In this article Euler revisited the problem, noting that this center of gravity would not itself take an elliptical path around the Sun. Global aviation sector contributes nearly 2.5% of global CO2 emissions. Aviation is hard-to-decarbonize sector due to the high energy densities required for aircraft. Commercial aviation is fueled by kerosene-based jet fuel. Alternatives for this carbonbased fuel include electric batteries, hydrogen fuel, and SAF. Electric batteries have very low energy densities. Hydrogen would require a complete change of the aviation system, including fuel & airport infrastructure. SAF is the only viable option in the short to medium term. SAF is produced from sustainable feed-stocks (like agricultural oils), with no embodied carbon. Existing airplanes can use traditional fuel blended with up to …

Introduction High pricing of orphan drugs often restricts patient access. As orphan medicines are usually not cost-effective according to traditional thresholds, countries may choose not to consider the cost-effectiveness criterion in pricing and reimbursement decisions or may adopt higher thresholds for orphan drugs. The objective of this research was to develop a multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) framework to serve as a multiplier for determining a differential cost-effectiveness threshold (CET) for orphan drugs in Egypt. Centuries ago in England, when most crimes were punishable by death, judges—aware of the unfairness of this system—construed penal statutes narrowly. This was “to stem the march to the gallows” and to protect citizens from this overly harsh regime. From these harsh origins arose the rule of lenity, which instructs that when the scope of a criminal statute is ambiguous, courts should select the less harsh—i.e., more lenient—interpretation of the statute. In the past two years, irregular maritime migration has reached levels not seen in decades. International human rights law requires that states screen migrants’ asylum claims and prohibits states from returning migrants to a place where they face persecution.
