Virtual patients (VPs) have been reported as a pedagogical tool for enhancing medical students' clinical reasoning skills, while its feasibility of being used for a large-scaled clinical assessment on clinical reasoning has not be addressed. Purpose: This study is to report the establishment of a large-scale VP-based interactive clinical examination. Methods: Through a computer and web-connection, each contestant gained access to the interactions with the VPs in a virtual hospital. The preconditions for a success nationwide contest was provided. Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) is the causative agent. It is caused by coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2), the disease may cause acute respiratory dis-tress syndrome (ARDS), that increases the susceptibility of co-infections with fungi. Acute invasive fungal sinusitis (AIFS) is a severe infection mostly affecting immune-compromised patients and carries high risk of mortality. Background: The purpose of this study is to discuss the clinical, radiological and histopathological features of a rare grade 2 variant of meningioma which is the most common primary intracranial tumor. Patients and methods: A retrospective analysis of the data of 6 patients who underwent surgery for a histopathologically proven chodroid meningioma. Results: Six patients’ pathology reports showed chordoid meningioma. On imaging, four lesions (67%) were isointense in T1 while the other two were hypointense. On T2 weighted images, four patients were hyperintense (67%) and displayed non-restricted diffusion pattern with elevated values on corresponding apparent diffusion coefficient maps. In volumetric path tracer, distance sampling and transmittance estimation techniques play a vital role in producing high-quality final rendered images. Previously, these techniques were implemented for production volume rendering, and were analyzed for faster convergence. In this article, we have augmented additional transmittance estimators including ratio tracking, residual ratio tracking and unbiased ray marcher in a GPU-based volumetric path tracer (Exposure Render) for biomedical datasets. We have also analyzed distance sampling methods and transmittance estimators perceptually using CIEDE2000 and Structural Similarity Index (SSIM). The article analyzes the current state of memory politics in Latvian society in the frame of Baltic postcolonial studies. The dominant traumatic experience of contemporary Latvian society is the period of Soviet occupation (1940, renewed 1944, lasting until 1991) and WWII. The so-called “Monument of Victory” in Riga was the central site of memory, loaded with mnemonic tension and ambiguity of collective memories of the Russian-speakers in the restored nation state. My friend groups have always been ethnically and racially diverse. Once, while pouring over pictures from my quinceañera celebration, my mom laughed and pointed out that my friend group could be on the cover of a magazine that celebrates diversity. I think that children of immigrants understand each other on an instinctive level, so we flock to each other. Regardless of mom’s and dad’s countries, we feel this shared sense of displacement. We’re too different from “typical American” kids, and we’re “too American” when we go back to our parents’ countries. For most of my life, this feeling went unsaid.
