Context: IgG4-related interstitial nephritis (IRIN) can present as either a renal mass or with acute kidney injury (AKI). The goal of this study was to present our 4 IRIN cases with different clinical scenarios.

Design: Over the past 5 years, we identified 4 cases of IRIN. Each case was evaluated.

Results: Case 1 involved a 60-year-old man with a 3-cm kidney mass. The core biopsy revealed storiform fibrosis and increased IgG4-positive plasma cells (>30 per high-power field), thus diagnosed as IRIN. We present a method for generating possible proofs of a query with respect to a given Answer Set Programming (ASP) rule set using an abductive process where the space of abducibles is automatically constructed just from the input rules alone. Given a (possibly empty) set of user provided facts, our method infers any additional facts that may be needed for the entailment of a query and then outputs these extra facts, without the user needing to explicitly specify the space of all abducibles. Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) is a complication of highly emetogenic chemotherapy (HEC) agents. The present meta-analysis was conducted to quantify and analyze the efficacy and safety of adding olanzapine to a Neurokinin Receptor Antagonist (NKRA) based triple-drug regimen in preventing HEC-induced CINV. Entity alignment (EA) aims to find equivalent entities in different knowledge graphs (KGs). Current EA approaches suffer from scalability issues, limiting their usage in real-world EA scenarios. To tackle this challenge, we propose LargeEA to align entities between large-scale KGs. LargeEA consists of two channels, i.e., structure channel and name channel. For the structure channel, we present METIS-CPS, a memory-saving mini-batch generation strategy, to partition large KGs into smaller mini-batches. Previous research typically examined homeownership inequality across individuals or households, overlooking the intrahousehold allocation of homeownership. Using couple-level data of the 2016 China Family Panel Studies, our study addresses the gap by examining the bargaining over homeownership between husbands and wives in China. Descriptive results reveal a large gender gap in homeownership: only about one-quarter of couples listed the wife as an owner on the Housing Ownership Certificate, whereas about 92% listed the husband. The gender gap in ownership, however, has narrowed among couples married after 2000. Background: The purpose of this study is to discuss the clinical, radiological and histopathological features of a rare grade 2 variant of meningioma which is the most common primary intracranial tumor. Patients and methods: A retrospective analysis of the data of 6 patients who underwent surgery for a histopathologically proven chodroid meningioma. Results: Six patients’ pathology reports showed chordoid meningioma. On imaging, four lesions (67%) were isointense in T1 while the other two were hypointense. On T2 weighted images, four patients were hyperintense (67%) and displayed non-restricted diffusion pattern with elevated values on corresponding apparent diffusion coefficient maps. Previously, these techniques were implemented for production volume rendering, and were analyzed for faster convergence. In this article, we have augmented additional transmittance estimators including ratio tracking, residual ratio tracking and unbiased ray marcher in a GPU-based volumetric path tracer (Exposure Render) for biomedical datasets.
