Efficient transportation systems are essential for reducing passengers waiting times in densely populated areas. However, there is a dearth of information on the optimization of vehicle mix for three-and four-wheel transportation systems in Nigeria. The present study was designed to optimize the vehicle mix for three-and four-wheel passenger transportation to improve transportation efficiency. Twenty purposively selected vehicles were observed, while a queuing model (M/M/s) was used to determine passenger arrival rates during different periods (morning, afternoon, and evening). This project investigates influenza vaccine hesitancy among college‑aged individuals, the age group with the lowest national vaccination rates, to determine how these patterns manifest at Fisher. Building on my previous semester’s literature search, this semester focused on a deeper review of documented barriers and the development of an IRB‑approved survey tailored to Fisher students. Prior research highlights several predictors of vaccination, including past flu experience (a very strong predictor of vaccination behavior) and encouragement from trusted authorities. This paper examines the Department of Education’s reclassification of professional and non-professional studies in relation to the newly imposed caps on the amount of financial aid students can access, as stated in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. While these policy changes take into consideration economic constraints and the principle of supporting students through more effective allocation of resources, they do not function as intended and instead disproportionately affect low-income students. Introduction: This study evaluated temporal trends, utilization patterns, and the economic burden of inpatient spine surgery in Nevada, and identified demographic and hospital factors associated with high-charge hospitalizations. Methods: A retrospective analysis of the Nevada Hospital Inpatient Billing (NHIB) database was performed for inpatient spine surgery cases from 2010–2024. Utilization trends were assessed across the study period. High-charge hospitalizations were defined as total charges at or above the 75th percentile. Multivariable logistic regression identified independent predictors of high-charge episodes. Results: A total of 41,925 inpatient spine surgery cases were identified. This analysis of hedonic price attributes uses Rosen’s paper on hedonic pricing as a framework to analyze the determinants of used car prices found in Craigslist. Using cleaned data, we see over 43,000 listings from 2005 to 2020 and investigate factors that affect used car prices and how they interact in this market. Results show that odometer readings and condition are the strongest factors that influence price, while manufacturers, paint color, drive type, fuel type, size, and year are adverse and depend on perceived attributes, consumer preferences, or market conditions.

Background Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections have gained popularity in orthopaedics and sports medicine despite inconsistent evidence and varied funding patterns. This study investigated the relationship between industry funding and academic influence in PRP injection research. Methods PRP injection literature published between 2005 and 2025 in Q1 peer-reviewed journals, as ranked by Scopus. Of 1,441 screened studies, 81 met inclusion criteria. Industry funding was analyzed by linking authors to the Open Payments Database (OPD) through their national provider identifier.
