Tightness in the distal hamstring is a common complaint among active individuals. While a foam roller is used to release muscle tension, there are limited studies about the effect using a vibrating foam roller (VFR) on hamstring flexibility and knee range of motion (ROM). Language plays a significant role in shaping meaning and influence in song lyrics. Denny Caknan’s Ambyar songs, which predominantly use the Javanese language, have attracted a wide audience, including non-Javanese speakers. This study aims to identify the linguistic aspects in the lyrics that appeal most to non-Javanese listeners and to examine how these songs influence their understanding of the Javanese language. A descriptive qualitative method was employed to obtain detailed and accurate findings. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to non-Javanese speakers, consisting of both descriptive and multiple-choice questions. LGBT identities are often perceived as deviant within society; however, their representation has increasingly appeared across various media, including films, novels, and music. This study examines the representation of bisexuality in Avatar: The Rise of Kyoshi by F. C. Yee*. The data are drawn from narrative elements that reflect bisexual themes and are analyzed using Stuart Hall’s theory of representation, supported by Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick’s concept of homosocial desire. The findings show that bisexuality is represented through Kyoshi’s relationships with two characters: Yun (male) and Rangi (female). These relationships develop through three phases: heterosexual, homosocial, and homosexual. The interaction between …

As a result of our survey, 26 works in 5 different literary genres were identified in which the events on Nargin Island were the main subject or an important sub-theme within the plot. This study examines the historical impact and representation of the Hephthalites in the context of the Vahaneanc uprising (482-484), a Christian rebellion against Sasanian rule in South Caucasia, as described in the work of Ğazar Pʿarpetsʿi, a 5th-century Armenian historian. Pʿarpetsʿi’s records of the events have been evaluated in comparison with other primary historical sources and attempted to be understood within the historical context of the period. Mechanisms underlying breast cancer brain metastasis (BCBM) are still not well understood. Here, we identified that BCBM patient serum contained extracellular vesicles (EVs) with high levels of microRNAs (miRNAs)-107 and -425. Levels of miR-107 and miR-425 were elevated in brain metastases, and the elevation was associated with poor patient prognoses. Ectopic expression of miR-107 and miR-425 promoted mammospheres; however, the inhibition of miR-425, but not miR-107, suppressed breast cancer mammosphere formation. We further observed that EVs from miR-425-overexpressing breast cancer cells strongly activated astrocytes whereas their inhibitors abrogated the effect. In 2023, Indonesia ranked third globally in the number of leprosy cases, with 14,376 reported cases, after India (107,851 cases) and Brazil (22,773 cases). One of the key strategies for leprosy control in Indonesia is the implementation of preventive measures, including home visits and the administration of chemoprophylaxis using single-dose rifampicin (SDR). Post-exposure prophylaxis plays an important role in preventing leprosy transmission among contacts of confirmed patients. Stunting is a problem in Indonesia. In 2022, Kedaung Wetan and Selapajang Villages in Neglasari sub-district, Tangerang City, were identified as a priority. This study aimed to identify factors associated with stunting among children (6 – 59 months) in these villages. A matched case-control study consisting of 214 children (107 cases and 107 controls) was conducted, with individual matching based on age, sex, and prematurity at birth. Cases were children with height-for-age (H/A) measurement less than -2SD (according to WHO standard), while controls were children with H/A equal to or greater than -2SD. While patient demographics continue to diversify, the athletic training workforce has not kept pace, leading to potential communication barriers, mistrust, and inadequate culturally competent care. This review examines whether culturally tailored mentorship programs and targeted recruitment initiatives improve retention, career satisfaction, and diversity in athletic training compared to standard methods. This descriptive-phenomenological study examined the role of mentorship in shaping identity. There is limited literature that examines mentorship as an identity-shaping process among Black queer men (BQM). Intersectional and Black queer theory provided the theoretical framework for thematic analysis.

Within the workplace, BQM must negotiate the effects of double marginalization resulting from racism and anti-queer biases. The effects of racism and anti-queer biases can lead to adverse psychological and physical health outcomes, negatively impacting the careers of Black and queer individuals. Accurate crowd counting remains a major challenge in computer vision due to perspective distortion, background clutter, occlusion, and poor illumination, which degrade feature representation and limit model generalization. This study introduces a robust and well-structured approach that integrates hybrid attention mechanisms with curriculum learning to enhance accuracy and stability in complex crowd scenarios. Gamma correction and CLAHE preprocessing enhance image visibility, facilitating the reliable detection of small and distant individuals under challenging lighting conditions. A mixed attention mechanism further enhances feature discrimination by emphasizing crowd-relevant regions while suppressing background noise.
