Toward Sustainable Emerging Economics Based On Industry 5.0: Leveraging Neutrosophic Theory In Appraisal Decision Framework, Mona Mohamed, Abduallah Gamal
Neutrosophic Systems with Applications
Entrepreneurs in emerging economies (EEs) need to expand to survive in a climate of intense competition. Additionally, it must be innovative, imaginative, and open to absorbing new business techniques. Prior studies proved that Entrepreneur’s success hinges on its capacity to deliver innovative items through employing cutting-edge technologies more quickly than its rivals. In recent decades, digitization—the widespread use of connected digital services by governments, businesses, and consumers—has emerged as a major economic engine that spurs expansion and makes it easier to create jobs. For instance, the next major technological shift is thought to be Industry 5.0 (Ind 5.0). In contrast …

Holocene Evolution Of Parabolic Dunes, White River Badlands, South Dakota, Usa, Revealed By High-Resolution Mapping, Paul Evans Baldauf, Gregory S. Baker, Maraina Miles, Patrick Burkhart, Allen Gontz, Madeline Rinka, Michael Levenson
Marine & Environmental Sciences Faculty Articles
The White River Badlands (WRB) of South Dakota record eolian activity spanning the late Pleistocene through the latest Holocene (21 ka to modern), reflecting the effects of the last glacial period and Holocene climate fluctuations (Holocene Thermal Maximum, Medieval Climate Anomaly, and Little Ice Age). The WRB dune fields are important paleoclimate indicators in an area of the Great Plains with few climate proxies. The goal of this study is to use 1 m/pixel-resolution digital elevation models from drone imagery to distinguish Early to Middle Holocene parabolic dunes from Late Holocene parabolic dunes. Results indicate that relative ages of dunes …

Yelloz, Eva, Sophia Maier Garcia
Bronx Jewish History Project
Eva Yelloz was born in a displaced persons camp in Germany and came to the Bronx in 1949 with her parents. They lived in the Melrose neighborhood in the Bronx, on Avenue St. John. On The Legal Life-History Of Beaches, Josh Eagle

Climate change is, among other things, making it more and more difficult to get to the beach. Recent studies show that rising sea levels have been shrinking America’s beaches through erosion and inundation. This trend is unlikely to slow down anytime soon, and some scientists predict that we will see feet of additional sea-level rise within our lifetimes. While beaches are shrinking, reducing the availability of recreational opportunities for locals and tourists alike, the number of people who want to visit the beach has grown dramatically. The growth in demand is due to a variety of factors, including the very …
