Prior theoretical and empirical studies have linked the first 3 years of children's life with later life outcomes. One primary explanation is the critical role these experiences play in children's early brain development (including their early language and cognitive abilities) and subsequent schooling achievement. Penelitian ini menganalisis makna kata “ikhlas” dan “rida” dalam Alquran yang dilatarbelakangi hasil pengamatan penulis di masyarakat dalam penggunaan kata ikhlas dan rida. Dalam masyarakat kata ikhlas dan rida digunakan untuk menyatakan rasa rela terhadap sesuatu. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis komponen makna yang dikemukakan oleh Eugene Nida pada tahun 1975. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi proses implementasi electronic document management systems (EDMS) mendukung pelaksanaan e-government di Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan RI menggunakan aplikasi Sistem Naskah Dinas Elektronik (SINDE). Implementasi ini mengatasi masalah pertukaran informasi dan data antar unit kerja, kinerja dan produktivitas layanan publik, dokumen berbasis kertas. Metode studi kasus digunakan untuk menganalisis data yang diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi EDMS dalam aplikasi SINDE mendukung kegiatan kerja internal dan layanan publik ditinjau walaupun belum seluruh komponen dasar EDMS dalam praktiknya terpenuhi. Suicidal and self-injurious incidents in correctional settings deplete the institutional and healthcare resources, create disorder and stress for staff and other inmates. Traditional statistical analyses provide some guidance, but they can only be applied to structured data that are often difficult to collect and their recommendations are often expensive to act upon. This study aims to extract information from medical and mental health progress notes using AI algorithms to make actionable predictions of suicidal and self-injurious events to improve the efficiency of triage for health care services and prevent suicidal and injurious events from happening at California's Orange County Jails. …

We consider a nonlinear pricing environment with private information. We provide profit guarantees (and associated mechanisms) that the seller can achieve across all possible distributions of willingness to pay of the buyers. With a constant elasticity cost function, constant markup pricing provides the optimal revenue guarantee across all possible distributions of willingness to pay and the lower bound is attained under a Pareto distribution. We characterize how profits and consumer surplus vary with the distribution of values and show that Pareto distributions are extremal. We also provide a revenue guarantee for general cost functions.We establish equivalent results for optimal procurement …

The main goal of this study was to look into the information literacy (skills and standards) of English Language majors at Sargodha University. A total of 160 undergraduates, both men, and women, took part in the research. To get to their end goal, researchers had to fill out a questionnaire created by Mittermeyer and Quirion (2003). The results of this study showed that undergraduates at UOS don't know enough about how to use information. Because of this outcome, it was suggested that students from UOS take part in the research.

Special education teacher attrition is an ongoing area of concern across the US. One factor that influences special educator attrition and retention is administrative support. Unfortunately, administrators often enter school leadership positions with little or no background in special education, thus making it difficult to provide the much-needed support. This practitioner piece provides information and resources for school-based administrators to use to support special education teachers and students within their schools.
