Knowledge graphs represent real-world data in a directed graph format where two entities, connected by a predicate, represent one fact. Link prediction models predict new relationships using existing entities and predicates, and are trained using benchmarking knowledge graphs. Redundancies exist within benchmarking knowledge graphs that allegedly artificially improve the results of link prediction. It is assumed in the link prediction field that if a model scores well on a highly redundant benchmarking knowledge graph, it may not directly correlate to good performance on other more complex knowledge graphs. AR Bubble Car argues that in L4/L5 autonomous mobility, or high to fully automated driving, the car should be understood not only as a transportation device but also as a visible social interface in public space. As driving becomes less central, the role of the vehicle shifts from control and movement alone toward passenger experience, expression, and communication. In response, AR Bubble Car proposes a transparent visual bubble around compatible vehicles, allowing passengers to share lightweight content through window-based AR. Inter-AS link failures in conventional routing architectures are recovered through a combination of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) hold-timer expiry, Link State Advertisement (LSA) flooding, and network-wide Forwarding Information Base (FIB) recomputation, a process that produces data plane outages measurable in seconds and affects every routing node in the involved Autonomous Systems (AS) regardless of topological relevance. Patients at risk for progression from myeloid precursor states (idiopathic cytopenia of undetermined significance [ICUS] and clonal cytopenia of undetermined significance [CCUS]) to myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) are not well defined. Epidemiologic risk factors, clonal changes for MDS development, and evolution from one MDS state to another were available in the MDS Natural History Study (NHS), a prospective cohort enrolled at diverse US sites. Extensive clinical data and biospecimens were collected at baseline and follow-up. A total of 1177 (56%) individuals with MDS or MDS-related precursor conditions (ICUS/idiopathic dysplasia of undetermined significance [IDUS], CCUS, and MDS/myeloproliferative neoplasm overlap) were enrolled and …

Music produced through computer synthesis can often sound thin and synthetic rather than vibrant and energetic. Wavetable synthesis is a method of waveform generation that uses a wavetable, which is a set of single period waves, or frames, that have varying characteristics. This method allows a synthesizer to transition between waveforms to produce a sound with time varying tone and harmonic characteristics. This adds life and movement to computer generated sounds. This quality improvement project addressed inconsistent use of end-tidal carbon dioxide (ETCO2) monitoring among nurses in the Cardiac Procedure Center (CPC) at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Although capnography detects respiratory compromise earlier than pulse oximetry, limited staff education contributed to variability in waveform interpretation and clinical response. Guided by Kurt Lewin’s Change Model and the Plan-Do-Study-Act cycle, four structured one-hour educational sessions were delivered to CPC nurses and supplemented with hands-on practice and visual cognitive aids. Pre-, immediate post-, and two-week post-education surveys evaluated changes in knowledge, confidence, and clinical skill. Mean knowledge scores improved from 65% at baseline to 75% immediately …

The purpose of this quality improvement project was to support this goal by implementing an evidence-based educational intervention to improve nurses' perceived knowledge and self-reported ability with the chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) bathing protocol for hysterectomy patients. Interprofessional education (IPE) is essential in preparing nursing students for effective teamwork and communication in clinical practice and is supported by the literature as improving these outcomes. However, limited faculty training in interprofessional simulation design contributes to reduced IPE opportunities within nursing curricula. A needs assessment at the project site identified a lack of structured, hands-on training for simulation faculty, resulting in decreased faculty confidence and limited implementation of IPE simulations. Heart failure (HF) remains a leading cause of hospitalization and readmission, with the transition from hospital to home representing a vulnerable period for patients. Variability in discharge education and follow-up scheduling contributes to poor self-management and adverse outcomes. This quality improvement (QI) project evaluated whether implementing a standardized nurse-led HF discharge protocol impacted nurses' confidence and the rate of 7–14-day transitional care management (TCM) follow-up appointments. Psychiatric providers in outpatient settings often experience inconsistent confidence and incomplete documentation when conducting suicide risk screening, contributing to missed opportunities for early identification of at-risk patients. This quality improvement project addressed the need for standardized suicide risk screening at an urban outpatient psychiatric clinic. The purpose was to evaluate documentation using the Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS). Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and ADHD-like symptoms, such as difficulty concentrating, mental fatigue, and problems with executive functioning, are increasingly recognized in adults. Although medication is commonly used to manage ADHD, there is growing interest in whether nutrition may also play a role in supporting brain function and attention. Several nutrients involved in brain health including omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B12, magnesium, iron, and choline  have been suggested as potential contributors to cognitive performance and attention. The overall task given by the ASME president is to create a vehicle capable of competing in the ASME e-Human Powered Vehicle Competition (e-HPVC) at the end of two year long design projects. Background/Significance: SVEs describe the physiological, psychological, and professional impact experienced by providers involved in near misses, adverse events, and unanticipated patient outcomes.^1-3 Studies estimate that more than half of providers have SVEs and their sequelae at least once in their lifetime, further exacerbated by a lack of institutional support, potentially contributing to burnout, compassion fatigue, and attrition.^1-4 Existing literature addresses SVE in physicians and nurses; even so, the literature is sparse when it comes to APPs, providers positioned between nursing and medical models, often navigating clinical spaces without structured support systems.
