Background

Job burnout is high among occupational therapy practitioners (OTPs)^1,2. Burnout impacts practitioner well-being and patient outcomes³. Mindfulness is an evidencebased approach to decreasing burnout, but the time burden for traditional mindfulness programs is high for professionals experiencing burnout⁴. Mindfulness at Work is a brief, virtual program during which OTPs embed learned mindfulness strategies during their workday.

A multiple case study was conducted to investigate six districts’ approaches to integrating science and engineering curricula in their secondary education programs. Data collected included classroom observations, interviews with teachers and administrators, college transcripts, professional development, and curriculum, as well as how, and how district personnel supported, and teachers enacted classroom instruction to align with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Six districts were chosen due to their ranges in their size, urban or rural context, and demographics. Withdrawal from cocaine induces an immediate and powerful negative affective state which is characterized by feelings of agitation and anxiety in humans and anxiety-like behaviors in rodents. It has been hypothesized that the anxiogenic effects associated with cocaine withdrawal play a major role in continued cocaine use and drive relapse to cocaine seeking. The prelimbic (PL) medial prefrontal cortex is not only involved in the processing and regulation of negative emotions such as anxiety but also mediates relapse to cocaine-seeking. A policy's general deterrent effect requires would-be offenders to be aware of the policy, yet many adolescents do not know they could be registered as sex offenders, and even adolescents who do know may still commit registerable sexual offenses. We tested whether peer influences shape the perceived costs/benefits of certain sexual offenses and, subsequently, registration policy's general deterrent potential in a sample of policy-aware adolescents. The more adolescents believed their peers approve of sexting of nude images, the more likely they were to have sexted. Marijuana is the most commonly used federally illicit substance in the United States, with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC, 2022) reporting it was used by an estimated 48.2 million people in 2019. The legalization of marijuana for medical and recreational use, as well as its decriminalization over the past 20 years, has created a new challenge for healthcare providers and researchers. When assessing attitudes, it is likely that attitudes toward these two groups have been combined leading to valuable reports of attitudes missing from the literature. While measurements within the field of psychology have been created to assess attitudes toward binary transgender individuals, there currently is no measurement to assess attitudes toward non-binary individuals. This study explored how different forms of radiation shielding were more or less effective than standard single-layer shielding. Beta and gamma radiation sources were used and measured using a Geiger counter to determine how well the various forms of shielding protect against the radiation. The shielding effectiveness of standard homogeneous materials (e.g., graphite, carbon/epoxy composites, aluminum, and lead) of various thicknesses for different radiation sources was measured to provide standards for comparison. Service quality in academics is imperatively crucial. Therefore, the purpose of the current research is to examine the effect of academic service quality factors in higher education institutions which mainly focuses on students' satisfaction and the extent of recommending the same institution to other students.

Design/methodology/approach

This research evaluated the effect of service quality on student satisfaction and word of mouth (WOM). Data were collected from 200 respondents from various business schools, and hypotheses were tested through a quantitative method using partial least square-structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) with the help of SmartPLS to validate the measurement model.

In this thesis, we study possible homotopy types of four families of simplicial complexes–the Morse complex, the generalized Morse complex, the matching complex, and the independence complex–using discrete Morse theory. Given a simplicial complex, K, we can construct its Morse complex from all possible discrete gradient vector fields on K. A similar construction will allow us to build the generalized Morse complex while considering edges and vertices will allow us to construct the matching complex and independence complex. The Arabian Partridge (Alectoris melanocephala), is an endemic bird species of the Arabian Desert that lives in groups and inhabits rocky hillsides with patchy vegetation. Throughout their range, Arabian Partridges contend with hunting and habitat destruction, factors that may limit their distribution and abundance. Although the abundance of this species has been assumed to be stable, no actual estimate of its population size has been undertaken. Infrasound may be used to detect the approach of hazardous volcanic mudflows, known as lahars, tens of minutes before their flow fronts arrive. We have analyzed signals from more than 20 secondary lahars caused by precipitation events at Fuego Volcano during Guatemala’s rainy season in May through October of 2022. We are able to quantify the capabilities of infrasound monitoring through comparison with seismic data, time lapse camera imagery, and high-resolution video of a well-recorded event on August 17. This thesis investigates the similarities and differences between Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a psychological therapy model, and Logic-Based Therapy (LBT), a philosophical therapy model, on moral injury. ACT emphasizes the importance of language in context in addition to a framework that addresses individuals as a whole. This approach contrasts with a variety of other psychological models designed to treat specific symptoms or diagnoses. LBT helps clients recognize and overcome irrationalities in thinking and subconscious rule-following behaviors to reach a point of equilibrium and tranquility. Beaver ponds are increasingly promoted as a strategy for physical stream restoration, and more recently recognized as natural solutions for excess nonpoint source pollutants, such as nitrogen (N). Beaver ponds facilitate N transformations on the streamscape by increasing sediment-water interactions and creating low and high redox conditions in close proximity. Because beaver ponds vary widely in their geomorphology, the spatial extent of morphological units should dictate the degree of biogeochemical processing. Naphtha is an important distillation product of crude oil, and is used as a raw material for first-generation products such as ethylene, propylene, gasoline, xylene (BTX), and others. However, due to the different sources of crude oil, differences in naphtha composition impact the quality of conversion processes. Parameters such as pressure, charge flow, and temperature need to be adjusted for conversion efficiency. Bioinspired flight serves to balance the advantages of fixed-wing flight as well as traditional rotary systems. A flapping wing aerial system exhibits high maneuverability at low speeds like a rotary system and the higher efficiency that fixed-wing systems exhibit in forward flight. A method to actuate a flapping wing structure is using piezoelectric elements. Using flapping wings to perform aerial maneuvers and facilitate stable flight will require precise control of the piezoelectric elements and control surfaces.
