This poster delineates the process of quality control for vendor digitized audio-visual assets from congressional collections and examines the significance of this practice for archives more broadly. The steps outlined include selecting items from the collection inventory, preparing and reboxing for digitization, and rehousing the original materials when they come back from the vendor. This capstone examines the evolution of the log cabin from 1840 to 1980. At its core, the project questions the legacy of the log cabin from its origins as simply being a traditional dwelling typology to its establishment as a cultural icon or rather, an enduring vessel that established the American Dream and ideals of self-reliance, freedom, and individualism deep within the heart of American culture.

In this work, we present a multimodal data acquisition workflow for the digital preservation and virtual reconstruction of at-risk historical sites in the island of Nevis. Facing threats from coastal erosion, rising sea levels, and aggressive vegetation, the archaeological heritage of Nevis requires documentation strategies that bridge the gap between high-cost professional surveying and consumer accessibility. Experimental test compared acquisition variables, specifically camera height (1 m vs. 3 m) and operator trajectory against highresolution control data. Arthropod navigation is known to rely on a variety of multisensory strategies, yet the prioritization of these cues in whip spiders remains poorly understood. This study examined whether Phrynus marginemaculatus prioritizes olfactory cues or idioethic directional cues when the two cues directly conflict with one another. Twelve subjects were trained to associate a shelter with both a specific odor (geraniol or 1‑hexanol) and a consistent directional movement (left or right) from the release site. In a subsequent test trial, odor and direction were dissociated, and subjects’ time spent in front of each shelter was used to determine an association index …

This project examines limerence from both a psychological and sociological perspective. The psychological component aimed to investigates whether higher limerent scores predict greater engagement in social media monitoring behaviors related to a romantic interest, and whether these monitoring behaviors are associated with increased interpretation of ambiguous social cues-failure to obtain IRB approval resulted in limitations in completing the study. The sociological component uses qualitative observational methods to examine how two Reddit communities,  r/NevilleGoddard and r/ShiftingRealities,  reinforce limerent and parasocial romantic behaviors. This research is meant to showcase how survey those who self-identify as having a disability so see how feedback they provide can help guide changes to make to the Maurer Center on Bowling Green State University’s campus. By utilizing principles found in Universal Design, much of the feedback was able to be applied. Delta-8-THC and delta-9-THC are two psychoactive compounds found in marijuana products which are only distinguishable from each other by alternating the location of a single double bond.  This makes them a challenge to separate and identify as different compounds using the GC/MS.  These isomers are legally recognized as the different compounds, so being able to identify delta-8 and delta-9 THC separately is crucial to forensic analysis. This research was conducted on the impact of community support on school levies, strategies that impact levy passage, and the impact of levies on student success. Research was done through interviews with K-12 superintendents from various Ohio public school districts, following a review of the current literature available on this topic. It was found that transparency with voters of details such as use of funds and outcomes of levy success is the most important strategy to increase levy passage rate. The United States is facing a dire housing crisis, and most Americans agree that housing is a universal necessity. Yet under current Supreme Court jurisprudence, housing is not a fundamental right, and individuals facing housing insecurity from an eviction are generally not members of a suspect class. This is because eviction is often viewed as an individual problem and a symptom of poverty, which the Supreme Court has repeatedly affirmed is not a suspect classification. Objective: To estimate the levels of supportive care needs among adults with cancer using the Supportive Care Needs Survey–Short Form 34 (SCNS-SF34) and to examine demographic, clinical, and treatment-related determinants. Methods: A systematic review and meta-analysis was conducted (CRD42024604977). Studies reporting SCNS-SF34 scores in adults with cancer were included. Searches were performed across six different databases (November 2024; updated August 2025). Random-effects meta-analyses were undertaken to estimate the pooled mean scores across the five SCNS-SF34 domains and total score. Skeletal muscle exhibits remarkable plasticity following injury, yet most research has focused on responses to a single bout of eccentric contractions. This review addresses adaptations to repeated eccentric contraction–induced injuries across physiological and pathological conditions, with emphasis on insights from preclinical rodent models. In healthy muscle, the repeated bout effect (RBE) reduces strength loss and accelerates recovery after subsequent bouts. However, these adaptations are highly condition dependent. Aging can attenuate the RBE, while dystrophic muscle remains vulnerable to repeated injury despite compensatory remodeling. Other factors, including but not limited to, chronic alcohol intake and malignant hyperthermia can influence these responses, …

Background and Aims: This study examined the association between parenthood status and psychological well-being among university staff and students in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). Methods: A cross-sectional, web-based survey was conducted across 22 universities in four SSA countries using convenience sampling. A total of 1189 university staff and students, including parents and non-parents, participated. Mental health outcomes were assessed using the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scales (DASS-21). Multinomial logistic regression models were used to examine associations between parenthood status and mental health outcomes after adjusting for sociodemographic and contextual factors. Increasing pressure for innovation-driven competitiveness requires hospitality firms to integrate technological capability, market intelligence, and customer-focused innovation into coherent strategic configurations. However, prior research has largely examined these capabilities separately, limiting understanding of how their integration influences restaurant marketing performance in emerging markets. This study develops and empirically tests an integrated capability framework linking techno-resonance innovation capability, competitor orientation, consumer-centric innovation strategy, and new service development to restaurant marketing performance using survey data from 300 restaurant managers in Java and Bali, Indonesia. Hydrogen generation through serpentinization reactions in peridotite formations under high temperature conditions represents a promising avenue for subsurface hydrogen production. However, the thermal energy in the formation environment have not been sufficiently considered. To integrate hydrogen production with thermal energy development, this study develops a thermo-hydro-chemical coupled numerical model, which is used to investigate hydrogen-thermal co-development in hydraulically fractured peridotite. Given that the hydrogen-thermal co-development process involves fluid flow, heat transfer and serpentinization reactions, the governing equations are formulated based on Darcy flow and energy conservation equations, with serpentinization kinetics incorporated through the reactive source terms. Modern administrative-law scholarship, theory, and doctrine generally conceptualize agencies as engaging in three primary functions: rulemaking, enforcement, and adjudication. This understanding of agencies has informed deep debates surrounding the power, independence, and constitutional legitimacy of the administrative state. But the prevailing account is incomplete. It overlooks a fourth core function of the administrative state: its fact-making, or epistemic, function. Across the administrative state, agencies create and disseminate information in ways that are uniquely comprehensive and uniquely powerful. Joint bank accounts, once known as a “poor man’s will,” emerged more than a century ago as a probate avoidance device. This Article contends that joint accounts no longer serve a useful estate planning function, and they pose an unacceptably high risk to banking consumers because the legal framework governing lifetime ownership rights is deeply flawed and underdeveloped. Courts typically apply one of two prevailing models for allocating lifetime rights: (1) the traditional joint tenancy approach, which presumes equal ownership of account funds by each party; and (2) the Uniform Probate Code’s approach, which presumes ownership in proportion to each …

This exhibit explores the life of Juanita Stout Ray (1891-1954), a Latter-day Saint woman whose journals, letters, photographs, and family records provide a rare and intimate view of women's experiences in the early twentieth-century American West. Born in southern Utah and raised in a polygamous family, Ray spent part of her childhood in the Mormon colonies of northern Mexico before her family fled during the Mexican Revolution. Her life was shaped by many of the defining events of her era, including revolution, pandemic, economic hardship, world war, migration, and profound personal loss.
