Implementation Of Learner-Accommodating Learning: The Impact Of Inclusion Implementation In Primary Schools

This study aims to examine the implementation of inclusive practices at SD Muhammadiyah PK Baturan, and analyze its impact on creating a welcoming learning environment for all students, particularly in terms of improving academic achievement, social and em otional development, and changing teacher attitudes. Data were collected through interviews with teachers and parents, classroom observation, and analysis of documents related to the inclusion program, and then analyzed thematically. The results showed that the implementation of inclusive practices had a significant positive impact. Students' academic achievement improved, as indicated by an increase in average test scores and student activeness in learning. …

Speaking anxiety in English remains a significant barrier to effective communication among language learners, particularly in academic settings. This qualitative phenomenological study explores the lived experiences of Andrew (a pseudonym), a university professor who experienced intense English speaking anxiety during his undergraduate years. Through in -depth interviews, the study investigates the coping strategies he employed and how these contributed to his eventual communicative competence. Language barriers significantly impact the academic achievement and motivation of international students at Universitas Indonesia, where Bahasa Indonesia is the primary medium of instruction. This study explores how linguistic challenges affect students' ability to engage in coursework, participate in discussions, and integrate into academic and social life. A quantitative research approach was employed, using a Google Form-based questionnaire distributed to international students, yielding 72 responses. Descriptive statistical analysis revealed that over 90% of students faced challenges in academic writing, lecture comprehension, and subject-specific terminology, leading to reduced confidence and lower academic performance. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji pengaruh langsung maupun tak langsung status sosial ekonomi orang tua, pendidikan pengelolaan keuangan keluarga, dan pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi terhadap literasi finansial. Data dikumpulkan dengan melalui tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis jalur dan analisis regresi dengan uji selisih mutlak. Hasil penelitian adalah terdapat pengaruh langsung maupun tak langsung status sosial ekonomi orang tua, pendidikan pengelolaan keuangan keluarga, dan pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi terhadap literasi finansial.

Penelitian memiliki tujuan mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan pelaksanaan supervisi kolegial berbasis Lesson Study (LS) dan manajemen LS sebagai teknik supervisi kolegial di SMPN 1 Pandaan, SMPN 2 Grati, dan SMPN 1 Gondangwetan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan rancangan studi multi situs. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa (1) supervisi kolegial dilakukan pada tahapan LS yaitu plan (merencanakan pembelajaran), do (melaksanakan dan mengobservasi pembelajaran) dan see (diskusi refleksi pembelajaran); dan (2) Manajemen LSBS terlaksana dengan baik sehingga teknik supervisi kolegial dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik.

This piece uses conversation analysis concepts to examine what the word ‘fucking’ does in everyday conversation and how it conveys the emotions and stance of the participants. It examines 4 real-life cases of ‘fucking’ being used, demonstrating how it changes the meaning of the utterance and therefore the course of the conversation.

This study examines the resolution of ethical dilemmas in financial reporting by human participants and large language models. Participants act in the role of a CFO deciding whether to discontinue a prior policy with biased reporting; however, the bias is known and corrected by investors whereas a change may temporarily mislead investors. We find that models are less amenable to competing ethical considerations than humans, and exhibit greater preference for truthful reporting. Moreover, they respond with greater consistency to institutional ethical guidance, while humans become more indecisive under pressure from management. Sterile insect technique (SIT) is an increasingly important strategy for controlling mosquito populations while reducing reliance on chemical insecticides and genetically modified organisms. A major limitation of SIT is the reduced fitness and competitiveness of irradiated male mosquitoes, which can compromise population suppression efforts. This study investigates whether hormetic ethanol exposure improves post-irradiation fitness in Aedes aegypti males, a primary vector of dengue, chikungunya, and yellow fever. Adult male mosquitoes were fed either a standard sugar solution or a sugar solution supplemented with 5% ethanol prior to irradiation.
