This study examines how translation has been used to sustain colonial and neocolonial hegemony by producing reductive representations of the East. Drawing on Adichie’s notion of the “single story” and postcolonial translation theory, it argues that domestication may function as a hegemonic strategy when foreign texts are adjusted to the expectations, values, and stereotypes of the dominant target culture. Such practice constructs the West as the universal model of progress while positioning Eastern cultures as inferior, exotic, or dependent. Morphological analysis includes leaf structure, trichome presence, and other anatomical features, which can influence the plant's chemical profile. Rational drug use is a critical component of improving healthcare quality. However, irrational prescribing remains a significant concern, particularly in developing countries like Indonesia. This study evaluates drug use patterns at a Type B hospital in Bandung using WHO standard: average number of drugs per prescription, percentage of generic drugs, antibiotics, injections, and adherence to the National Formulary. A retrospective, descriptive observational method was applied, using 2024 inpatient Drug Use Evaluation (DUE) data. The success of malaria medication largely depends on patients' adherence to the prescribed therapeutic regimen. This article aims to identify the level of adherence to malaria treatment and the factors that influence it, based on observational studies. A narrative review was conducted using the PRISMA approach, involving 12 articles published between 2019 - 2023 from various countries. The results indicate that adherence levels vary widely, ranging from 15.6% to 93.31%, depending on respondent characteristics and the intervention strategies implemented. Developing a leaf-area estimation model for vegetable cultivars in wetlands is essential to optimizing agricultural cultivation practices. This study aims to develop a non-destructive model for leaf area estimation in wetland vegetable cultivars (velvetleaf (Limnocharis flava) and kangkong (Ipomoea aquatica)) using regression-based models. The plants were cultivated in a wetland system. Measurements of leaf length and width were taken on all leaves of each plant, using the product of length and width (L×W) as predictor. Nonprofit organizations are widely understood to operate under conditions of persistent constraint, yet less is known about how nonprofit leaders themselves perceive and prioritize their struggles. This study presents findings from a qualitative analysis with descriptive quantification of open-ended responses from 77 nonprofit leaders who were asked to identify their biggest challenges. Using thematic coding, frequency counts, and order-based sequencing analysis, the study distinguishes between perceived struggles, immediate needs, and capacity-focused structural blockers. Foster youth transitioning to independent living often face challenges that extend beyond technical life skills. This qualitative phenomenological study explored the lived experiences of 10 former foster youth (ages 18–21) regarding readiness for independent living and the adequacy of preparation they received. Semi-structured interviews were guided by an 18-question instrument reflecting real-world transition domains commonly addressed by nonprofit independent living programs. Thematic analysis yielded three primary themes: (1) lack of preparation, (2) emotional strain and abandonment, and (3) life skills training. BACKGROUND: Digestive tract cancers, like most other cancers, are usually categorized based on cell or tissue of origin. Molecular clustering based on the transcriptome often produces the same classification.

METHODS: We developed a new method, Newmanization, to reduce underlying tissue signals from transcriptomic analysis. To test our method, we downloaded data on 1635 samples of digestive tract cancers from The Cancer Genome Atlas. This study investigates the effect of post-consumer recycled (PCR) content on the application and removal torque of 28/400 continuous-thread polypropylene caps tested against 100% PCR high-density polyethylene (HDPE) detergent bottles. Three cap material variables were evaluated: virgin PP (0% PCR), 40% PCR PP, and 100% PCR PP. Torque testing was conducted using the VIBRAC 2100 Cap Inspector with an application torque set at 14 in-lb. This study examines key characteristics of stock market time series, such as regime shifts and non-linearity, which necessitate specialized methods for capturing market volatility. To improve volatility forecasting for the Muscat Securities Market Index (MSMI), the paper proposes a Back-Propagation Neural Network (BPNN) model. The neural network takes as input the volatility estimated by the Markov-Switching GARCH (MS-GARCH) model and uses the Close-Close volatility estimator as the output.
