The purpose of this bibliography is to record in one place the substantial body of scholarship produced by the current faculty at the Catholic University, Columbus School of Law. From its humble beginnings under the tutelage of founding Dean William Callyhan Robinson, through its adolescent period when, like so many other American law schools, it was trying to define its pedagogical niche, to its eventual merger with the Columbus University Law School in 1954, the law school at Catholic University has always retained a scholarly and remarkably productive faculty. Achieving the United States’ ambitious emissions reduction goals depends in large part on the rapid adoption of wind and solar energy and the electrification of consumer vehicles. However, misinformation and coordinated disinformation about renewable energy is widespread and threatens to undermine the transition. In this report, the Sabin Center identifies and examines 38 of the most pervasive false claims about solar energy, wind energy, and electric vehicles, with the aim of promoting a more informed discussion.

This article reexamines the role of school librarians forty years after the publication of Educating Students to Think. It argues that the central mission of school librarianship, helping students locate, evaluate, synthesize, and use information thoughtfully, has remained consistent while librarians’ responsibilities have expanded. The article connects this mission to contemporary practices including inquiry learning, instructional collaboration, digital and media literacy, AI literacy, digital citizenship, equitable access, and instructional leadership. It also presents an updated framework and practical strategies for applying these responsibilities in modern school library programs.

Drone Remote Sensing For Forestry: An Economic Assessment, Micah G. Scudder

This project addressed a critical knowledge gap in modern forest management: the lack of a standardized, rigorous economic framework to evaluate the true financial viability of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS/drones). Supported by this seed grant, an economic evaluation protocol rooted in engineering economics was developed and translated into a functional financial template tool. When external structural funding changes at a partner flight agency restricted upfront fixed-wing hardware access, the research design was pivoted from a single-site case study at Lubrecht Experimental Forest to a multi-project empirical validation. This dataset contains terrestrial small mammal survey data collected at the Badlands Bombing Range, South Dakota, during summer 2024 and 2025. Surveys were conducted across mixed-grass prairie, sandy tableland, prairie dog colonies, and White River floodplain habitats using Sherman live traps, pitfall traps, and remotely triggered cameras. Data include trapping effort, species detections and captures, capture locations and associated capture data, and camera detections and were collected to document mammal diversity, evaluate habitat use, and support natural-resource management of the installation.

Introduction: Midlife cardiovascular burden contributes to cognitive decline and dementia. However, research in diverse populations remains scarce.

Methods: We included 402 San Antonio Heart Study participants (1979–1988; midlife mean age 57.9 ± 3.8, 58.5% women, 52% Mexican American) later enrolled in the San Antonio Longitudinal Study of Aging (1992–2004). Midlife cardiovascular health was assessed using Life's Simple 7. Cognition was measured up to four times with the Mini-Mental State Examination. Generalized estimating equation models adjusted for age, sex, income, and education were used to relate cardiovascular factors to cognitive change. Sensitivity analyses evaluated attrition bias.

Introduction: Access to dental care is a critical aspect of children's healthcare. For these reasons, Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), administered by states, cover medically necessary services. Specialty providers can enroll and participate in state or state-contracted plans, but availability varies widely. Our research objective was to evaluate the availability of non-general dentist specialists in endodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics/dentofacial orthopedics on the InsureKidsNow website for Medicaid/CHIP enrollees, on a state-by-state basis, and to compare these with pediatric dental availability.

Visuo-haptic interactions are gaining interest in perception research because of their relevance to robotics and rehabilitation. While the benefits of integrating concurrent visuo-tactile cues are well-documented, the temporal dynamics of competitive interactions between vision and touch remain less understood. Building on extant empirical evidence of unilateral intersensory switching, we ask whether bilateral detection of visual and tactile stimuli can be explained by cross-sensory competition and explore the underlying sensorineural dynamics via a multi-level neural network model. This study aimed to improve intracortical microelectrode array implantation sites for grasp-related motor decoding by integrating anatomical, functional, and vascular imaging with preoperative 3D modeling. A participant with C5 tetraplegia underwent anatomical MRI, diffusion-weighted imaging, and task-based fMRI to identify grasp-related cortical regions while avoiding vasculature and speech-critical areas. Quicktome software was used to refine target selection by integrating structural connectivity and functional activation data. A 3D-printed skull and cortical model enabled preoperative planning, including craniotomy and electrode positioning simulations. Precision diagnosis and treatment of central nervous system (CNS) diseases are hindered by limited probe penetration, toxicity risks, and low imaging signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The blood-brain barrier (BBB) further restricts drug delivery, especially in stroke therapy. This study proposes and validates a natural exosome (sExos) from cyanobacteria, featuring intrinsic near-infrared-I (NIR-I) autofluorescence, with strong imaging and neuroprotective functions. As a theranostic nanoplatform, sExos enable integrated diagnosis and treatment of stroke and other brain disorders. Enriched with the fluorescent phycobiliprotein ApcE, sExos support label-free, high-SNR brain imaging in the NIR-I window. In vivo, sExos cross the BBB and accumulate in …

Pemphigus vulgaris (PV), bullous pemphigoid, and paraneoplastic pemphigus are autoimmune blistering diseases carrying significant mortality risk and economic burden. Diagnosis is frequently delayed in acute care settings, where these conditions mimic common dermatoses such as cellulitis, aphthous stomatitis, and Stevens-Johnson syndrome/toxic epidermal necrolysis. While emergency departments appropriately triage and admit severely affected patients, definitive diagnosis is often delayed across the acute care continuum, averaging 6 to 12 months from symptom onset. These delays result in repeated visits, inappropriate therapies, and avoidable hospitalizations. Pemphigus vulgaris hospitalization costs average $14,500 per patient annually in the United States, and cellulitis misdiagnosis alone generates …

Robin Sequence (RS) is a congenital condition in which patients experience dynamic, periodic obstruction or collapse of the upper airway due to an underdeveloped jaw and a posteriorly displaced tongue. Current clinical techniques for evaluating airway obstruction do not provide quantifiable data and fail to account for the dynamic nature of obstruction or collapse. There is no standardized criterion to characterize obstruction or collapse severity. This study presents the first method that extracts airway motion from 4-dimensional computed tomography and performs a patient-specific, moving-mesh computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis of RS patients with complete airway collapse or obstruction. PurposeThe current study aims to explore parents' views on family care at a neonatal intensive care unit.MethodsWe conducted a qualitative exploratory study with a descriptive approach based on open-ended written narrative responses from the Danish version of EMpowerment of PArents in The Intensive Care—Neonatology questionnaire. The study was conducted at a Danish level IV NICU working with family-centred care and family integrated care. The data was analysed using inductive content analysis by Graneheim and Lundman. BACKGROUND: Coverage of obesity pharmacotherapy for youth varies substantially across state Medicaid programs. This variability limits access to evidence-based treatment for pediatric obesity. The Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT) benefit is a federally mandated Medicaid provision requiring coverage of medically necessary services for individuals under age 21, even when such services are not included in standard state Medicaid benefits. Despite its broad scope, EPSDT remains underutilized due to limited awareness and operational complexity.

BACKGROUND: Non-hormonal intrauterine devices (IUDs) create an inflammatory uterine environment while oral contraceptives (OC) suppress ovulation and have different associations with ovarian cancer risk. We have evaluated the associations of these two contraceptive exposures with ovarian tumor immune infiltration.

METHODS: This study assessed associations of IUD and OC use with tumor immune features via multiplex immunofluorescence in 24 ovarian tumor tissue microarrays from four case-control and two cohort studies. Multivariable-adjusted beta-binomial models estimated the odds of tumor T cell positivity by contraceptive history.

Our study investigated the association between incident cardiovascular disease (CVD) and subsequent cancer risk in two large European prospective cohorts. We included 568,926 adults from the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition and United Kingdom Biobank, all of whom were free of CVD, cancer and type 2 diabetes at baseline. Multivariable Cox proportional hazards regression models were used to estimate cancer hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) in relation to incident CVD events. CVD was treated as a time-varying exposure, and models accounted for time since CVD diagnosis and other lifestyle factors. Study-specific estimates were pooled using …
