In envisioning a safe place for college students struggling with mental health, we came up with Solace Space. It is a meditation room where students can go and feel the calming effects of Feng Shui and Light therapy to nurture students well-being. The design harmonizes elements of nature, optimizing energy flow for serenity. Soft, earthy tones and minimalistic décor create a calming ambiance. Advance light therapy fixtures simulate natural sunlight, aiding mood regulation. This intimate space becomes a sanctuary for rejuvenation. This study investigated the effects of mental illness (suspected, diagnosed) and the defendant’s race (Black, White) on receiving the NGRI plea in a Second-Degree murder case. Participants were more likely to assign the NGRI plea to a Black defendant than a White defendant if the defendant had a diagnosed mental illness, but were more likely to assign a guilty plea to the Black defendant than the White when the diagnosis was only suspected.

According to the World Food Program (2024), A total of 23.4 million people in The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) are projected to be acutely food insecure, and an estimated 2.8 million children are acutely malnourished. The implication of this is exposure to acute diseases, poverty, malnutrition, and even death. Poverty, climate change, inflation, war, and conflict are the foundation causes of world hunger, and all these factors plague the DRC. Additive manufacturing (AM), colloquially known as 3D Printing, is a manufacturing process in which a component is fabricated layer-by-layer. For metallic materials, the most common AM methods use powders as feedstock materials. To print in space, one abundantly available material is the loose powder covering the moon, i.e., lunar regolith. However, past research has shown that regolith does not have ideal properties for AM.

There are two main material properties that affect AM performance: (1) powder flowability, and (2) packing density. Powders must be able to flow over the print bed, otherwise the printer will jam. When powders naturally pack …
