- Depression and anxiety are the most common mental disorders in adolescence and emerging adulthood (National Institute of Mental Health [NIMH], 2023; NIMH, n.d.)
- Previous studies have found that high school climate is correlated with poor mental health outcomes (Gunnarsdóttir et al., 2021; Gage et al., 2016)
- School climate is multidimensional. Previous research has identified peer and teacher relationships, school safety, and respect for individual differences as important aspects of high school climate (Gage et al., 2016)

During the Cold War, the United States government was absorbed in paranoia. Communism was an active threat to the United States’ democratic values. It used illegal counterintelligence measures to monitor groups deemed a threat to capitalism and political stability. These excessive security efforts aimed to survey various organized fringe groups such as the Communist Party of the United States and the Ku Klux Klan but most specifically targeted and adversely impacted the black community and even led to attacks on prominent members of groups such as the Black Panther Party. • Financial socialization from parents has been shown to have a positive impact on the financial situation of young adults. Developing positive attitudes about money is a strong indicator of future financial well-being (Utkarsh, 2020).
• Without financial literacy, there is a higher risk of debt, bankruptcy, uncertain healthcare, social security, and retirement funds. Starting financial education early can lay the foundation for more success in the future (McCormick, 2006).

The point of the study is to see a possible relationship between the use of communal resources and wellness. The research question was how do communal resources relate to wellness? The hypothesis was the more one uses communal resources the higher their wellness will be. The sample was college students at the University of Northern Iowa (n=71). The results showed that the hypothesis was not supported. Other information regarding the knowledge of communal resources and their use of them showed that when people are advertised to about communal resources they are more likely to use them; more so than if …

In 1978, Patricia and Leonard Percello endowed this prize to honor Patricia’s parents, Louis and Mary Wagner-Berger, and to support college women who are interested in writing short stories and novels. It is designed to encourage and reward excellence in creative writing at the College of Saint Benedict. The Wagner-Berger Prize for fiction is the first scholarship of its kind at the College of Saint Benedict. It is a scholarship awarded annually to the CSB student who submits the most original, previously unpublished short story.
