This study examined factors affecting adherence to antiretroviral therapy (ART) among people living with HIV/AIDS in Antigua and Barbuda. The findings identified multiple variables, emphasizing the dynamic components affecting ART adherence. These findings address a local gap and provide insights into the unique adherence challenges faced by a vulnerable population.

The external threat of ESD/EOS event to the IT products is disturbing the manufacturer. In most of cases, manufacturer has no idea from where the ESD/EOS event enter the product to damage to the unit.

The proposed idea is to deploy ESD sensors on specific areas of the IT product like I/O ports, keyboard, click pad, buttons, openings of housing, power rails, signal pins to collect the ESD/EOS event. This article seeks to provide biblical context to discussions about the identity of Jesus of Nazareth. These contextual discussions about Jesus are designed to aid considerations of Catholic school identity. The Stability Of Epigenetic Variants That Can Act As Loci Causing Phenotypic Change, Raul Faburrieta

Biology Theses

Epigenetic variations are a possible source of heritable phenotypic variation. In this study I focus on phenotypic alterations seen in epigenetic Recombinant Inbred Lines (epiRILs) of Arabidopsis thaliana. These epiRILs allow me to study the effects differentially methylated regions (DMRs) have on phenotypic variance. In a study performed in 2014 by Cortijo et al., they found that DMR’s affect flowering time and root length when grown under greenhouse conditions. In this study, I replicated the Cortijo et al. (2014) study, with some changes, to see whether the same significant eQTL regions are found. I found that, some of the eQTLs …

The identity of Catholic schools is closely tied to the proclamation of official Church teachings. One area of sustained contemporary attention for Church officials is the relationship between Catholics and Jews. Since the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965) great strides have been taken by Church officials to recognise and repair relations between Catholics and Jews. A series of official documents in the decades following the Council has outlined the directions in which Catholic educators, catechists, liturgists, scripture scholars and theologians are required to pursue in formulating their responses to the challenges of repair and restoration of relations between Catholics and Jews. …

In this work, a simple yet robust neighboring-aware hierarchical-based clustering approach (NHC) is developed. NHC employs its dynamic technique to take into account the surroundings of each point when clustering, making it extremely competitive. NHC offers a straightforward design and reliable clustering. It comprises two key techniques, namely, neighboring- aware and filtering and merging. While the proposed neighboring-aware technique helps find the most coherent clusters, filtering and merging help reach the desired number of clusters during the clustering process. Exposure to traumatic stress is a major risk factor for the development of mood disorders in a subpopulation of individuals, while others remain resilient. Notably, women are twice as likely as men to develop affective disorders in the aftermath of trauma. The mechanisms and contributing factors that influence sex-related disparities in mood disorders and variations in resilience remain unclear. We hypothesized that sex-specific inter-individual differences in microbial composition, functionality, and metabolites would contribute to host resilience or susceptibility to stress-induced psychopathologies.
