Supporting Teachers To Adopt Art-Based Pedagogy In Grade 10 Science Teaching: An Action Research, Rabina Maharjan Ms, Binod Prasad Pant Dr.
The Transdisciplinary STEAM+ Journal
Science classrooms in Nepal are far from real-life connections and are dominated by conventional teaching methodologies which makes classrooms appear monotonous and boring. As a result, interest in science is decreasing day-by-day. In this scenario, the integration of art into science can be a ray of hope as humans, by nature, love art. In this research, I (first author) supported and empowered a group of five science teachers from different community schools in Kathmandu metropolitan city to implement art-based pedagogy in their classrooms. Though initially the teachers were reluctant to adopt art-based pedagogy, with a series of sessions, they designed …

The Thai Journal of Veterinary Medicine
The Syrian hamster (Mesocricetus auratus) is the most commonly presented hamster species in veterinary practice, yet descriptive echocardiographic values remain limited, particularly under conscious conditions. This study aimed to establish normal two-dimensional, M-mode, and Doppler echocardiographic values in healthy conscious Syrian hamsters and to evaluate the influence of age, body weight, and sex on cardiac parameters. Forty Syrian hamsters (27 males and 12 females; one excluded) underwent physical examination, thoracic radiography, and echocardiography. Age and body weight were recorded. Echocardiographic parameters were analyzed for their distribution and correlation with age and body weight. All echocardiographic parameters demonstrated a …
Assessment Of Platelet Activation In Dogs With Naturally Occurring Acute Pancreatitis, Guhyun Kwon, Seulgi Bae
Assessment Of Platelet Activation In Dogs With Naturally Occurring Acute Pancreatitis, Guhyun Kwon, Seulgi Bae
The Thai Journal of Veterinary Medicine
Recent studies have demonstrated that platelets are crucial in inflammation and immune responses. Alteration in platelet activity impact morbidity and survival due to the formation of intravascular clots or bleeding resulting from impaired platelet function. Aiming to evaluate changes in platelet activity in dogs with naturally occurring acute pancreatitis (AP), we identified differences in quantitative and morphological platelet indices, as well as the ratio of platelets expressing P-selectin on their surface (activated platelet ratio; APR) between dogs with naturally occurring AP and healthy dogs. The study included 9 client-owned dogs with AP (the AP group) and 28 client-owned healthy dogs …
Agentic Browser Interface For Real-Time Monitoring And Edit History Tracking, Benjamin Albert Azose
Agentic Browser Interface For Real-Time Monitoring And Edit History Tracking, Benjamin Albert Azose
Defensive Publications Series
Existing tools for monitoring webpage changes are often limited to specific platforms or provide only retrospective data, lacking real-time granularity across diverse web environments. Described is a method for real-time monitoring and edit history tracking via an agentic browser. A user-defined webpage is monitored based on specified duration and frequency parameters. Snapshots of the webpage are captured and compared at defined intervals, with differences between versions identified, timestamped, and stored. This process may involve the use of machine learning models to categorize or describe significant changes. A user interface is provided to visualize the collected edit history, allowing for the …
Browser-Based Interface For Targeted Monitoring And Collection Of Dynamic Web Content, Benjamin Albert Azose
Browser-Based Interface For Targeted Monitoring And Collection Of Dynamic Web Content, Benjamin Albert Azose
Defensive Publications Series
Existing web browsers and automated agents often lack the precision required to monitor specific, dynamic elements within a webpage, frequently relying on unstructured text analysis or full-page refreshes. Described is a method and graphical user interface for the targeted monitoring of individual webpage elements. A user-defined selection tool is employed to identify a specific document object model (DOM) element, such as a field displaying a song title or a social media comment container.
The browser can monitor the selected element at specified intervals or via mutation observers to detect value changes. When a change is identified, the new value is …
Sorption And Thermal Conductivity Of Concrete Containing Aggregates Of E-Waste, Rakesh Kumar Saini, Praveen Kumar
Sorption And Thermal Conductivity Of Concrete Containing Aggregates Of E-Waste, Rakesh Kumar Saini, Praveen Kumar
Journal of Sustainable Construction Materials and Technologies
In many parts of the world, substantial energy is used to maintain comfortable temperatures in inner parts of the buildings for living and working. Construction materials with low thermal conductivity, if used in the exterior walls and façade etc. in such structures can be useful in lowering the energy demand. On the other hand, moisture ingress through sorption is a common factor contributing in degradation of concrete structures with time. Constituents of concrete may be engineered to some extent to get both the desired attributes, lower thermal conductivity and sorption than normal concrete. The rapid increase in electronic waste, or …
The Composite Light Ray Deviating System Utilized For The Formation Of Complete Converging And Diverging Lenses That Combines A 2-Dimensional Light Projecting Lens Array With A Composite Cuboidal Light Ray Projection System., Punarjeewa Abeysekera
Defensive Publications Series
This paper describes a composite light ray deviating system utilized for the formation of complete converging and diverging lenses that combines a 2-dimensional light projecting lens array with a composite cuboidal light ray projection system. The entire composite light ray deviating system will consists of a 2-dimensional light projecting lens array and a composite cuboidal light ray projection system. And in the entire composite light ray deviating system, the 2-dimensional light projecting lens array will be positioned on top of the composite cuboidal light ray projection system. The 2-dimensional light projecting lens array will consist of a collection of individual …
The Wearable Autonomic Polygraph & Physiological Dissonance Engine Powered By The Linchpin 2.0 Protocol, Jonathan Stephen Baker
The Wearable Autonomic Polygraph & Physiological Dissonance Engine Powered By The Linchpin 2.0 Protocol, Jonathan Stephen Baker
Defensive Publications Series
Abstract
Deception detection has historically relied on stationary, vulnerable, and episodic polygraph examinations. Ethelgard Tactical introduces a paradigm shift through the Linchpin 2.0 biometric enclave, condensing multi-point interrogation capabilities into a secure, edge-computed wearable. By continuously monitoring high-frequency autonomic fluctuations—specifically Non-Linear Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and Galvanic Skin Response (GSR)—the system passively detects the involuntary physiological dissonance generated by cognitive load and deception. This whitepaper outlines the technological architecture of this Wearable Autonomic Polygraph and its strategic operational applications, including continuous zero-trust authentication, covert field screening, and the autonomous execution of decoy routing (the Chimera Protocol) to neutralize insider threats …
Project Sentinel-Andes Dual-Platform Concept: An Open-Source Conceptual Systems Design For Rapid Andes Hantavirus Detection And Extracorporeal Host-Response Modulation In Confined Environments
