This article examines the sovereignty of God’s self-revelation to Ezekiel in a still, small voice on Mount Horeb and considers the difficulty of reconciling competing scholarly assessments of the prophet as faithful priestly servant of YHWH or disobedient free agent. This author considers Ezekiel’s experience as a site of spiritual union with God, inspired by the exegetical work of 14th century German Dominican priest and mystic Johannes Tauler.

This study examined the effects of anchor scheme on torque and neuromuscular responses during and following fatiguing isokinetic forearm flexion tasks. Thirteen men (mean ± SD; age: 22.0 ± 1.9 yr; height: 183.0 ± 6.4 cm; body mass: 90.2 ± 18.1 kg) completed pretest and posttest maximal, concentric, isokinetic forearm flexion muscle actions at 30°∙s-1 before and after continual, concentric, isokinetic forearm flexion tasks at 30°∙s-1 at an RPE of 6 (RPE6T) and the torque (TRQ6T) produced during the first repetition of the RPE6T. The Résumé Redesign exercise equips business communication students with essential job search competencies through an experimental approach to résumé design. Grounded in contemporary research on AI literacy and résumé design, this assignment incorporates an AI-powered résumé scanner alongside faculty feedback to strengthen students’ understanding of formatting, mechanics, and audience adaption. Survey results from 136 student respondents indicate the AI feedback to be clear and helpful. This exercise offers flexibility for in-person and online learning environments to enhance a résumé assignment and introduce students to AI-mediated recruitment practices, while maintaining the critical role of human review in the résumé evaluation.

Identifying Parkinson’S Disease From Gait Biomechanics Using A Participant-Level Machine Learning Analysis Pipeline, Li Jin

Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by motor control, balance, and gait impairments that significantly elevate fall risk. Traditional gait analysis focuses on spatiotemporal parameters, while gait variability, asymmetry, and balance measures offer more sensitive indicators of PD-related motor deficits. Machine learning studies using wearable gait data frequently report high classification accuracy but lack biomechanical interpretability and methodological rigor. Using the PhysioNet Gait in Parkinson’s Disease database, 93 individuals with PD and 72 healthy controls were analyzed during level-ground walking. In next-generation wireless networks, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) networks are emerging as a promising solution for ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC). A key challenge in millimeter-wave UAV networks is ensuring that mobile users are always in line-of-sight (LoS) coverage, since the current snapshot-based trajectory planning approach does not consider the mobility of the users during the decision interval, resulting in disastrous LoS gaps. For continuous coverage verification, standard uniform sampling is too computationally expensive, as it would need a large number of samples to estimate rare failure events that have latencies that are not suitable for real-time requirements. We revise the North American fauna of Aulacideini (Hymenoptera: Cynipidae) using morphological, ecological, and genetic (DNA barcode) data, incorporating observations from over 5,000 adult specimens and galls. Prior to revision, the fauna included 24 species in four genera. This study investigates the internal geometry of the granite block rows in the King’s Chamber (KC) of the Great Pyramid of Giza using Non-destructive testing (NDT) with ultrasonic testing (UST) using shear wave echo arrays. As part of the ScanPyramids (SP) project measurement campaigns in 2022, the lower two block rows of all four walls were examined using ultrasonic shear-wave echo arrays (PD8000, Screening Eagle Technologies). The measurement strategy initially included rapid overview acquisitions using an 8-channel UST device to identify potential areas of interest. The Impact Of Flight Instructor Feedback On Subsequent Instructor Evaluations Of Student Performance, Ayhan Rozyyev, Jennifer E. Thropp

This study examines the impact of feedback tone and feedback order on flight instructors’ evaluations of student performance in an aviation training context. Using a 2×2 mixed factorial design, 40 certified flight instructors reviewed fictitious training records and rated students based on feedback that varied in tone (positive vs. negative) and order (positive-first vs. negative-first). Results showed that positive feedback significantly influenced evaluations across all measured dimensions, while feedback order had no significant effect, challenging assumptions about primacy and recency effects. These findings highlight the role of positive reinforcement in shaping instructor evaluations and suggest that structured training environments can …

​A clarinet and percussion duo is an underutilized chamber ensemble. This recording project focuses on repertoire that is more accessible to the performer and listener, and offers a varied selection of instruments in the percussion parts. In this project, some percussion parts feature Middle Eastern instruments. It contains three commissioned works: Poe by Andy Harnsberger, Light on the Ice by Josh Gottry for clarinet and marimba, and Quicksand by Marco Schirripa for clarinet and riq. Dancing For Your Ka: Embodied Knowledge in the Ancient Egyptian Funerary Cult investigates the spiritual, cultural and social values and beliefs encoded in processional dances associated with the funerary cult at Beni Hassan. It assumes that, as is other ancient and modern religions, dance is a prayerful act that feeds into reciprocal relationships between humans and spiritual beings and asks what forms of embodied knowledges are archived in Middle Kingdom dance traditions. I propose the application Katherine Dunham’s Theories––Form and Function, Intercultural Communication and Socialization through the Arts––to help illuminate the relationship between dance, the dancing body and ritual knowledge. …

Tax ownership is a crucial concept for determining tax liabilities, compliance, and enforcement. However, neither the courts nor the IRS has provided clear guidance on how to analyze it. Since the Supreme Court first outlined a twenty-six-factor test for determining tax ownership in Frank Lyon Co. v. United States in 1978, this multifactor test has remained largely unchanged, and there has been no further guidance from the courts or the IRS to this day. Even tests with shorter lists of factors only add to the confusion regarding compliance and enforcement, as there is no clarity on which factors are most …

One of the most common mandates of a non-incarceratory sentence is to submit to treatment. Across the criminal legal system, from problem-solving courts to probation, millions of defendants sentenced to non-incarceratory sentences—including people not diagnosed with a substance abuse disorder—are required to attend drug treatment programs. After decades of policies that criminalized drug use, non-incarceratory sentences that match people with treatment may appear to be a step forward—or at least not the most pressing problem.

Regulating Deregulation: Why States Should Preempt Mandatory Inclusionary Housing Programs, Anna Bailey

Instead of easing the housing crises that exist across the country as intended, mandatory inclusionary housing programs burden development, impeding smaller projects and stunting development that in the aggregate could alleviate housing shortages. In this Note, I argue that states should preempt local governments from imposing burdensome mandatory inclusionary housing programs because they interfere with property rights and are counterproductive in their results. The Nollan-Dolan rough proportionality test requires that land-use conditions must be related to and proportional to the problem created by the land development project.
