Introduction: As the global prevalence of obesity continues to rise, it has become a major public health concern requiring more accurate prediction methods. Traditional regression models often fail to capture the complex interactions between genetic, environmental, and behavioral factors contributing to obesity.

Methods: This study explores the potential of machine-learning techniques to improve obesity risk prediction. Various supervised learning algorithms, including the novel ANN-PSO hybrid model, were applied following comprehensive data preprocessing and evaluation.

Results: The proposed ANN-PSO model achieved a remarkable accuracy rate of 92%, outperforming traditional regression methods. SHAP was employed to analyze feature importance, offering deeper insights …

Introduction. The Get with the Guidelines-Heart Failure (GWTG-HF) risk score is a widely utilized and validated tool for assessing prognosis in patients with heart failure. Inflammation significantly contributes to the pathophysiology of heart failure, evidenced by platelet activation and a reduction in lymphocyte counts. Consequently, the platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) may function as a prognostic biomarker in this population. This study aims to investigate the correlation between the GWTG-HF risk score and PLR as an inflammatory marker in patients hospitalized with heart failure.

The correct choice of NIV mode, mask and titration methods will provide optimal therapeutic effects to the patient. Social intelligence and motor skills are essential for a child's development. This study in the Sleman Regency investigates the relationship between social intelligence and motor skills development in 170 primary school students. The data collection instruments included a Social Skills Rating Scale (SSRS-T), a questionnaire, and Nurhasan’s motor ability test. The data used meet the normality and linearity conditions, as indicated by the coefficients of 0.721 and 0.108, each greater than 0.05, respectively. This study analyzes the trends, content, and factors influencing corporate tax disclosure in Indonesia based on GRI Standard 207. Data were obtained from sustainability reports of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for 2021–2023 and analyzed using content analysis, descriptive methods, and panel data regression. The findings show a significant increase in tax disclosure in line with GRI Standard 207 from 2021 to 2023. The financial and energy sectors had the highest disclosure rates, while the technology and property sectors had lower adoption. A large literature has shown money demand functions constructed from simple-sum aggregates are unstable. We revisit the controversy surrounding the instability of money demand by examining cointegrating income-money relationships with the Divisia monetary aggregates for the U.S., and compare them with their simple-sum counterparts. We innovate by conducting a more granular analysis of various monetary assets and their associated user costs. We find characterizing money demand with simple-sum measures only works well in a period preceding 1980. Divisia aggregates, their components, and their user costs provide a more reliable interpretation of money demand. Subsample analysis across 1980 and 2008 suggests …
