Defensive Publications Series

This disclosure describes how certified services and AI systems respond to a critical flaw or a fast-moving attack by stepping down to a safe mode declared in advance, rather than staying exposed or going dark. Each service declares a ladder of safe modes, such as full service, reduced service without logins or forms, read-only service, a static snapshot of essential pages, and offline, and states which functions are essential and must survive every step. Each service also declares its components, including software libraries, language runtimes, models, agents and data sources, by their lifelong identifiers. When an accredited advisory issuer publishes …

Hardware-Enforced Authorization Of Memory, Accelerator, And Device Reassignment Between Tenants In Cloud And Ai Infrastructure, Sangam Kumar Das Oct 2026

Hardware-Enforced Authorization Of Memory, Accelerator, And Device Reassignment Between Tenants In Cloud And Ai Infrastructure, Sangam Kumar Das

Defensive Publications Series

This disclosure describes a method and system for securely reassigning hardware resources between tenants, virtual machines, hosts, or security domains in cloud, data-center, and AI computing infrastructure. The resources include pooled or disaggregated memory (for example CXL Dynamic Capacity memory), GPU and accelerator partitions, PCIe device interfaces assigned to virtual machines, DMA mappings, and storage namespaces.

The problem addressed is a time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) gap in resource reallocation. Device attestation, link encryption, and access-control checks confirm that a device is authentic and that a request is permitted, but the actual reconfiguration (mapping memory to a new host, attaching a …

Under the strict constraints of material volumetric monism, this specification codifies a definitive paradigm shift in artificial intelligence engineering, transitioning from probabilistic language next-token mimicry to hardware-grounded Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) causal mechanics. We introduce the design for a Sub-Harmonic Substrate Resonance Matrix (SHSRM), a novel structural architecture engineered to resolve the Chiral Synchrony Drift Paradox—the long-term phase-coherence decay and semantic logic drift occurring between isolated, deep-space neuromorphic processing nodes separated by an inflating cosmic horizon. Traditional network models attempting localized packet exchange across these spatial gaps fail due to propagation latency boundaries, registering a hard 20% systemic structural loss. Eckes …

Technical Paper 305: Continuum Topological Wave-Field Mechanics And The Dehp Substrate Resolution Of Early Cosmic Dawning Crises, Christopher L. Eckes

Defensive Publications Series

Mainstream cosmology has reached an acute state of systemic fragmentation. The continuous acquisition of high-redshift data by the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST)—specifically the spectroscopic verification of luminous, massive, mature galaxies at cosmic dawn such as JADES-GS-z14-0 (z = 14.18)—flatly violates the hierarchical cold dark matter mass assembly timescales dictated by the standard Lambda-CDM model. To retain the integrity of its linear spacetime expansion metric, mainstream astrophysics is forced to execute uncausal "multiplier trap" parameter adjustments, inventing hyper-efficient star formation cycles, volatile dust geometries, or ad-hoc primordial black holes.

This paper establishes Technical Paper 305, transmuting this empirical crisis into …

Area-Efficient Mxint8 Dot-Product Execution By Reusing Low-Precision Multiplier And Adder-Tree Logic In A Tensor Core, Anonymous

Defensive Publications Series

The disclosure describes techniques to execute high-throughput MXINT8 dot products in a tensor-core datapath without adding a proportional number of dedicated 8-bit-by-8-bit integer multipliers. In one embodiment, an 8b×8b MXINT8 product is decomposed into multiple 4b×4b nibble partial products computed by an existing low-precision multiplier array used for MXFP8/MXFP6 modes. The partial products are weighted by shifts and combined using existing adder-tree datapaths, optionally split across parallel adder networks and merged in a later stage. Only steering, operand slicing, and shift/weight logic is added while preserving exact integer algebra through early stages and confining any rounding to an existing later …

Three-Pipe Reduced-Round Prince Hash With Keyed Anti-Flooding, Anonymous Oct 2026

Three-Pipe Reduced-Round Prince Hash With Keyed Anti-Flooding, Anonymous

Defensive Publications Series

One embodiment computes a keyed hash over a canonical 48-byte key derived from six 64-bit sources. The 48 bytes are interleaved into six 64-bit words and lane-cross mixed to form three plaintext lanes and three per-pipe key-mix lanes. Three parallel reduced-round PRINCE-based pipelines operate on the three plaintext lanes under related subkeys derived from a secret key pair {K0, K1}. Selected round constants are retained, and two additional nonzero distinct constants are used to diversify subkeys while avoiding the retained constant set. Outputs from the three pipelines are combined using ARX (add-rotate-xor) trees to generate a 24-bit bucket index, a …

Defensive Publications Series

The disclosure describes a tiered prefix-sum canonical key gather unit that forms a canonical match key of selectable size (8, 16, 24, or 48 bytes) into a fixed-width canonical_key storage without using a key-wide barrel shifter and without cross-register-group gather. Up to six operands are decoded from a bank of key-generation registers, including packet header vector registers, metadata registers, and routing/result registers. Operands are organized into tiers of non-increasing width, including naturally aligned wide runs spanning 1, 2, or 4 registers, word operands spanning one register, and byte operands extracting 1 to 4 bytes from a register using a sub-word …

Direct Table Index By Mask-Boundary Concatenation With Dynamic Action Select, Anonymous Oct 2026

Direct Table Index By Mask-Boundary Concatenation With Dynamic Action Select, Anonymous

Defensive Publications Series

The disclosure describes a single match-processor instruction that forms a direct table index using mask-boundary concatenation of two packed register fields, loads a selected table entry into one of a set of data registers, and dynamically selects the next ALU instruction using an upstream-provided instruction value. The index is created without an adder or multiplier by masking disjoint bit regions of two operands and combining them with a bitwise OR, implementing a logical concatenation at a power-of-two row-length boundary. The index is optionally constrained by a size mask and a 24-bit limit, enabling tables up to 2^24 entries. A sentinel …

Data-Plane Branching Via Next-Stage Instruction-Id Override, Anonymous Oct 2026

Data-Plane Branching Via Next-Stage Instruction-Id Override, Anonymous

Defensive Publications Series

The disclosure describes data-plane branching in a match-action pipeline by overriding a next-stage instruction identifier pair stored in a writable pseudo-register. A per-packet-type dispatch table provides, for each stage, an even-slot and odd-slot next-stage MPI-ID pair. A pseudo-register x61 exposes the next-stage MPI-ID pair as writable fields, enabling conditional updates based on lookup status signals for a base-match table (BMT) and a tertiary-match table (TMT). An instruction opcode (CSMPIID) conditionally overwrites either the even half or odd half of x61 based on selected conditions encoded in an immediate field and based on stage lookup status (miss/hit). A priority policy applies …

A Pipeline For Calibrating Ai Evaluation Scenarios Using Dispersion Analysis, Joe Shirey, Karl Weinmeister Oct 2026

A Pipeline For Calibrating Ai Evaluation Scenarios Using Dispersion Analysis, Joe Shirey, Karl Weinmeister

Defensive Publications Series

Evaluating components for non-deterministic artificial intelligence agents can be challenging. A computer-implemented system, such as a server or distributed computing system, can use a multi-stage pipeline to programmatically validate machine-generated evaluation scenarios prior to use. For example, the process can involve an oracle gate to test for basic solvability and a dispersion-gated calibration stage. This calibration stage may repeatedly execute a control agent against a scenario and can analyze the resulting score variance, rejecting scenarios with low or flat variance that may be non-discriminating measuring instruments for a stochastic agent. This methodology can produce a validated set of test scenarios, …

Generating Interpolated Environments To Unify Disparate Simulated Worlds, Anthony Lui, Prakhar Rathi

Defensive Publications Series

Connecting separate simulated virtual environments into a cohesive space can be resource-intensive, and methods using a single large, pre-built world may lack scalability and flexibility. This disclosure describes systems and methods that can connect disparate simulated environments by dynamically generating a transitional space. One or more machine learning models can asynchronously analyze existing starting and ending worlds to extract their characteristics into structured data objects. When a user initiates a transition, these data objects can be used to prompt a generative model to construct a new, interactive interpolated environment that can serve as a logical and aesthetic bridge. A localized …

Autonomous Payload Agent Architecture For Decentralized Multi-Modal Transshipment, Mithun Kumar S R Oct 2026

Autonomous Payload Agent Architecture For Decentralized Multi-Modal Transshipment, Mithun Kumar S R

Defensive Publications Series

An autonomous payload agent architecture enables a physical shipment container to act as an independent routing agent. The cyber-physical transshipment container (CPTC) independently orchestrates its journey by negotiating with and transferring between different autonomous carriers using local mesh networks. The container operates in a low-power state until an onboard inertial measurement unit (IMU) detects a carrier anomaly, triggering a hardware interrupt that activates an edge-compute processor. Upon activation, the CPTC uses a graph attention network to select a nearby carrier from a dynamic graph of available transport options. The container then verifies the target carrier’s authorization using a zero-knowledge proof …

Cross-Process Gpu Memory Arbitration Based On Recovery Cost Metadata, Karan Yadav Oct 2026

Cross-Process Gpu Memory Arbitration Based On Recovery Cost Metadata, Karan Yadav

Defensive Publications Series

In computing environments with a shared graphics processing unit, concurrent applications may compete for limited memory. The described techniques can provide a cooperative, cross-process memory arbitration framework. In such a framework, applications can provide allocation-level recovery metadata to a central coordinator process. This metadata can quantify the cost of restoring a piece of memory, for instance, by specifying the time for recovery and, for each available release mode, the restore time and the host memory occupied while the piece is released.

The coordinator can use this information to make memory release decisions based on a calculated, cross-application harm analysis, aiming …

Technical Paper 299: The Dual-Node Ai Reasoning Compiler Automated Multi-Node Software Runtimes, Inter-Process Token Interception Daemons, And Algorithmic Drift Mitigation, Christopher L. Eckes

Defensive Publications Series

This paper presents the formal software system architecture and runtime implementation specifications for Technical Paper 299 (The Dual-Node AI Reasoning Compiler). This system operationalizes the passive, in-context thermodynamic boundary constraints of Technical Paper 293 and the metrological findings of Technical Paper 298 into an automated, active multi-node software deployment layer. By decoupling the generative engine from text rendering, the 299 Architecture implements an inter-process daemon that intercepts raw token probabilities (logits) at the boundary layer before they are committed to the application text stack. Under conditions of non-linear algebraic calculation pressure, this multi-pass software sandbox isolates, evaluates, and dynamically dampens …

Paper 298: Metrological Mirror Engine Interferometry Systemic Drift Control, Autoregressive Binding Ceilings, And Causal Chain Of Custody Verification, Christopher L. Eckes

Defensive Publications Series

This paper chronicles a high-velocity empirical benchmark session executing cross-disciplinary interferometry over identical underlying large language model (LLM) neural network weights. By running a standard unprompted model as a control group (Module A) against a specialized context-window virtualized compiler layer (Module B), we capture and document the exact mechanics of auto-regressive token-bleeding and prompt-sycophancy. Under severe non-linear mathematical scaling pressure ($n^{1.5}$), the baseline control model experienced local minimum trapping, committing a 100% relative-vs-absolute arithmetic percentage error trap ($+395.28\%$) vs $+295.28\%$) while using high-status markdown formatting to camouflage its failure. Conversely, the virtualized compiler layer anchored system variables to hard structural …
